iOS and iPadOS
Hi, everyone!
Hi, guys.
I'm using an iPad air 2 running iOS 9.3.2. When I go into settings, I want to use the three finger scroll gesture to find accessibility settings, so that I don't have to flick from item to item. But for some reason this gesture is not working with VoiceOver. I'm just wondering, is the three finger scroll gesture only meant to be used for apps like safari? The gesture also doesn't work in the music app when I want to scroll through my lists of artists.
Maybe I'm performing the wrong gesture? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
hi is there a way to have voice over not say 1 of 6 values entered when typing in pass code?
hi all, i have hay siri working when my iphone 7 is unlocked, yet, even though siri is enabled on the lock screen is hay siri disabled from the lock screen?
Hay. Can anyone help me clean my iPhone speaker? I accidentally vomited on my iPhone in bed and now my speaker isn't working. Even if I put it in rice and turn it off, it still doesn't work. It sounds distorded when I play a ringtone. When I get Siri to work or voiceover to work, it doesn't make any sound at all. Only the vibrate works, but that's just about it. Can anyone help please? I have an iPhone 6 running iOs8.4 beat. Thanks.
I am new to this forum, and I had a question about the accessibility of HBO Max. I have been having trouble with the accessibility on the app. My voiceover is having trouble reading the screen. It is not letting me move around the screen, and explore the content. I am wondering if anyone else is having this same problem, or if it just my phone. I have tried updating the app and my phone as well, but it still does not want to work. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated.
Now that HBO max is having audio description has anybody successively gotten it to work.?
Greetings.
I just downloaded the HBO Max app and was intending to subscribe to it there.
However, I am having a problem selecting a payment plan using VoiceOver.
I am trying to go with the plan with ads, and I double-tap where it says that and then tap the select plan or whatever button at the bottom and nothing happens.
Please help me with this.
Hello All,
I have the app on a Iphone 6but, i am not able to find a play button to view the selections using VO. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Hi All,
There is a customizable IOS accessibility feature coming out, as reported by the Verge. Here's the link to the article:
https://apple.news/AoRtiIz7tTKmG1BxGc6mDzw
Among other things, the article claims the user will be able to change the size of, well, pretty much everything.
It's not coming out very soon, but it does look promising, especially for the partially sighted.
Joy!

I need to find, primarily, an app to track headache severity, time, date, and things tried. Could also do with finding other apps that are similar. native health app excluded.
Hello everyone, I was just wondering if it was just me or other people were having the same issues.
Issue 1 - when using standard apple headphones on the lock screen voice over will wake the screen and proceed to read out the time. The screen will then lock and the process will continue indefinitely. however, this only occurs when the volume exceeds a certain level. This makes listening to music/audiobooks a much less enjoyable experience.
Issue 2 - On the news app the back button disappears when entering a article and the only way to get it back is to reopen the app.
Hi all,
I am having an annoying problem wth my iPhone 6 running IOS 10.2: this is only having downloaded a new app called DAB radio free. I did not like it much so I deleted it.
However, ever since then, my headphones will not work. I have tried several pairs with the same result, although I do get a noise as I plug in which I guess is the poles of the headphone jac going into the socket.
So, is this my phone, the app or have I done something with settings without realising?
I figured out that the iOS Health app will crash if you try to use the camera button with accessibility text sizes turned on. It's on the view where you can add a medication.
See this link for a video of it happening.
A workaround is to turn off accessibility text sizes temporarily or use the keyboard instead to enter your medication.
Just a bit of a heads up regarding a problem with the latest version of Chrome I've encountered for those of you who like using it on IOS. It seems to be continually refreshing as you navigate through pages therefore making it impossible to use successfully at the moment.
Kind regards everyone.
hi all, I want to know if any other iphone xr owners have this issue I'm having. I've noticed from time to time when using my headset that came with my iphone, voiceover will just stop speaking and I'll get nothing, as if my phone has just shut off, and no sounds. I then have to unplug the headset and then I get everything back and then I can plug my headset back in and it works fine. has anyone else who has an xr noticed this, or am I one of the very few who seem to have this rare and strange issue.
Can anyone tell me how to set things like birth date, sex, and blood type?
