How can I get a kindel book to read even if my phone is asleep? I remember seeing how to do this somewhere but I cannot find it again.

This is a very, very stupid question.
I have noticed that my phone has stereo speakers. How am I to hold, because I don't see the secreen but I want the stereo sound. How am I to hold it so I can watch like seight, but blind.

Hello all! I have a quick question about importing documents. I can’t seem to figure out how to import my album list document from pages into Voice Dream Writer. I click on the import button and I can see the Pages folder but the document name button is dimmed and I can’t do anything that has anything to do with exporting. if I hit the select button at the top and select it. How do you import a document from Pages into this app? Thank you in advance

In applications like BitLife simulator or World Empire2 027, where I think the unity plug-in is used for accessibility, I can’t adjust the speaking rate, and the default voice setting is super slow.
Does anyone know how to increase the speaking rate?
At least in world empire 2027, there is no such option in the settings of the applications nor in the settings of my phone. I can’t find nothing in the voice over settings as well.

Hi all. I've noticed along with the new sound on IOS10, there's a very quiet lock sound when you hit the power button. I don't think there's a way to turn this up, I'd like it there was. If you turn off Voice over, and click the power button, it's a lot louder then when speech is on. It makes some sense, voice over is probably reading, so the sound is quieter. I just would like to be able to hear it better then always double checking the screen is locked. I hope this makes some sense, I thought there was a sound effects volume somewhere?

I’m finally the owner of iPhone 5s and I’m using it with VoiceOver. I know the system quite well though I can’t cope with one difficulty. Please give me a hint how to increase the volume of message alert. I do the following: tap the settings, select sounds, adjust the volume to 100% and mark the option that volume keys do not affect sound volume level. As a result, the sound of incoming call is extremely loud but the alert for text message is not that loud. So please help me in this matter. Many thanks!

Hello all,
I am new to VDR and am excited about it. Because of my poor sound discrimination, I sometimes have the need to interact with a line down to its characters. How do I accomplish this in VDR? I go to school and am trying to read books from Bookshare.
Also, I use James as my voice and would like to know from you guys, is there a better voice that will enunciate every word clearly to compensate for my hearing issues.
Can I do the 'character analysis' I desire with the Kindle, BARD and Read2Go apps?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I noticed ever since I installed iOS10 apps that I've already deleted from my phone are showing up in app updates whenever there's an update available. Is there a way to get rid of this? I usually update all but now I just have to update each app seperatly because of this.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to permanently label photos taken on the iPhone? I know you can sort of label photos with voiceover but its not permanent. The label created by voiceover only resides on your phone. Thanks for any help on this.

This bug has been going on forever. I can’t scroll down far enough on the server about page to get to the leave server button. Voiceover will focus on it but won’t activate it. It’ll always activate the report button instead. Also, it’s annoying that you can’t tap on someone’s name next to their message to go directly to their profile anymore but that’s a bit off-topic. So if anyone could tell me how I can leave a discord server with voiceover, I would really appreciate it.

I need to do a guide book for something and want it to be stylish.
Is there an app that will let me make a stylish index and chapters and stuff? I doubt it will be printed but I want it to look cool and profesional.
Maybe pdf? Or maybe html?
I only have my iPad but am using a keyboard to it so writing is okay but I need a stylish format with clickable index and stuff.
If the solution is HTML I need a html viewing app that is accessible.
PDF I am not sure if that is doable.

Hello! I have a question about the new recommendation set up on Goodreads. I updated my Goodreads last night, and from the few minutes experience that I’ve had with it so far this morning, I really love it so far! Question is about the new recommendations tab. I have my shelves set to give recommendations along with my genres. But when I go to the recommendations tab in Goodreads app, I don’t see my shelf recommendations. I only see my genre recommendations. But when I go To the website, I see my shop and genre recommendations.

and even though I supposedly have the pro version, when I go into Extras, it still gives the option of if I want to buy the Pro AddOn for Mx$99? Does this still appear in the pro versión, or what might have happened? I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Thanks for info.

I am trying to have the same contacts on my iPhone, Outlook on my Windows PC, Gmail and iCloud.

I might be constantly updating my contacts on the phone or outlook. What I want is all the contacts that are not there on the phone should be updated from Outlook and vice versa. Also my Gmail account and iCloud account should have these updated contacts.
Is there any way to accomplish this? Any advice would be appreciated.

I am looking for an easy way to make the contents of my new iPod Nano mirror those of the old Nano that will no longer hold a charge. All of the contents are in my library, and I could hunt them down one by one and add them, but I am talking about a couple of thousand songs out of an over ten thousand song collection and about 40 Audible books out of an Audible library that is over three hundred books large.

I would like to put some of the applevis podcasts on my ipod for reference but can't figure out how. I can find no step by step reference for doing this. The quicky instructions from the apple store didn't help much. Iam still trying to figure out how the Itunes program actually works to transfer information, and what app on the ipod would be used to read these podcasts. Everything seems to be tied to the apple store. Please help with detailed explinations of this interface and how to use it.

Hi,
Does anyone know how to move up and down using a keyboard on IOS or IpadOS. I'm not looking to swipe up or down, but to do the equivillant of moving your finger up or down.
Problem I'm having is, I'm trying to play chess or the "playgrounds" of IpadOS, and when I'm in a grid, I can't move via rows in the grid.
Any suggestions?
PS: turning full keboard access on actually sems to break things, more than solve things in regards to what I'm trying to do.

I tried grabbing message source and extracting what looked like base64 data and decoding that, but didn't get anything usable back.

iOS just says "null image" when I swipe to it, even with "describe images" on.

NVDA's Win10 OCR doesn't do much of anything, just gives me one line of garbage!

Is it possible to open apps from the locked screen with Siri?

I often find myself in the situation where the phone is locked and in my pocket, I am wearing my Airpods, and would like to say something like "open tuneIn Radio" to start playing the last station I was listening to or to run one of my shortcuts using voice commands.

When I try this, Siri usually responds "You'll have to unlock your iPhone first".
