iOS and iPadOS

Hi. I’m using an iPhone 8 with IOS11, having moved up from a 5 and 9.3 just recently. I’m having a problem with the insertion point jumping around the screen when I’m trying to input text, which makes the actual completion of the task impossible. I switched to touch typing, but the insertion point keeps jumping around. Is anyone aware of this kind of problem and how to solve it? Thanks for your time.

Has anyone found out a way to get out of a popup offer on instacart without having to close and reopen the app? For example sometimes when I open the app it will popup with the new family sharing offer and the only way out of it is to close and reopen the instacart app.

I ordered groceries, forgetting lunch fixings. When I tried to add items to the order, the screen changed but was not read by voice over. I bless the chat function as my shopper was kind enough to do as requested. I mentioned them on twitter. I got the usual I'll pass this along comment. No you won't but thanks for believing I made a difference. I just wish prices weren't as high as they are even though I understand the mark up. The Mac by the way, had the same behaviors reported. Using both latest versions of OS and the app, as well as iPhone eight plus.

Is anyone else experiencing the following voiceover bugs in the latest instacart update?
I am one who likes to make backup choices for all my items after placing my order so After placing your order voiceover does not announce your items so it's kind of hard to tell what item you need a prefference for.
The next one that I noticed is voiceover no longer has the picker to rate the shopper. It just says *** as you swipe to the right, it is easy however to tell which * you select just count as you swipe.

Hi, is Instagram accessible? if not is there an app for iOS that makes it accessible?

Hi all. I'm not sure anyone's done a well thought out podcast about Instagram. I know the app is more accessible then it used to be. What I don't know is how to interact iwth it besides finding a photo and sharing it that way. I also would like to know how to write a comment and send a private message I think? Thanks for any help. Also, I know you can use alt text for blind people so that they can appreicate the photos. I shalemessly don't do that, I just describe in the captions. Again, something to elaborate on.

Bit of a strange bug I’ve noticed for a while now and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced it, or has any workarounds?

When uploading photos to Instagram to post, it’s possible to get to the caption page with no issues. However, I’ve noticed when trying to add alt text in Advanced Settings, when double tapping on ‘Done’ or the ‘Back’ button, I’m pretty much always just taken back to the photo upload page. This happens almost all the time and makes posting really difficult.

Just seeing anyone has the same problem. My Instagram keeps coming up with “ can’t refresh feed” I have no problems with my other accounts as I have 2 other accounts for my different businesses.

Hi. I'm using an Iphone 15 pro max on the latest ios. Whenever I try accessing instagram videos, they are muted by default. I searched all settings on iphone and on instagram, but I can't figure out how to make all videos to unmute. Please, I'd appreciate some help if anyone knows what could be wrong, or if the app is no longer accessible. Thanks.

hi all,
i'm experienceing a strange issue after updating instagram to the latest version and updating to ios18.
when i'm scroling through the reals on instagram and if I swipe from left to right, I was getting options for that real like, comment, send etc but now i'm not able to access those.
and when I'm trying to swipe for those buttons, i'm randemly jumping back to the first real which I have watched. is someone is also facing the same issues?
using iphone13 with ios18.

Not sure if anyone uses it but instagram reels are now completely inaccessible with VoiceOver. What I usually do is turn it off to swipe through reels and then turn it back on to get to options such as share and save etc etc. However, on the latest few updates, it's not shown any controls for the current reel being watched and instead, VO has taken me to the first reel I watched.
Firstly, I'm writing this post to see if anyone's experienced this problem and has perhaps found a work around.

now i see app name inside connect app, but unable to install it for testing, i think there's something missing here.
could you guide me what shall i do?
and why i didn't find tistflight code as usual here?

i'm using ios 16.7.
am i need to canceil developer app? or set anything in phone setting?

I deleted dropbox yesterday to get rid of temp files that makes the app larger, Now I'm trying to re-install it, but it stops as soon as it gets to 10 percent.
Been trying since last night, but no change.
Restarted the phone as well by terning it off normally and also by holding in the power and home buttens.
Also reset my wify.

I am using an iphone6+ ios 8.4 version.
When I check settings it says I have one update available. The available update is ios 9.0.2. Why does it not show 9.1?
It says ios 9.0.2 is downloaded but I do not get an install button. Why not?
I didn't think I had to update with 9.0. If I do need to do this before ios 9.1 will show, how is this done? If I need to install ios 9.0.2 before ios 9.1 will display as being available, how do I do this?

I haven't had the confidence to update my iPad 2 since i.s 7 now I.S has been released do you think I'm safe in updating my iPad?Im looking forward to hearing your responses and thanks

Was thinking of buying the instant pot smart wifi. However, I seem to recall reading on here that as of iOS 14.5 the app no longer worked. So, is this the case if so no point buying it. Or, is there an update. If not does anyone know in the uk of an accessible multi cooker like this with a working app?

Apple updated the security certificate for the Smart Cooker software. The new version of the software loads now. I assume it works.

The instant pot smart cooker app does not work with iOS 14.5. when I open the app, there is an error message that says "Smart cooker needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of iOS."
Then there is the OK button.
If I would have known this I would not have updated to iOS 14.5.
