I'm taking a course on virtual and augmented reality, and I was wondering if there are any VR headsets that are accessible with VoiceOver, or if there are any advantages to using such a headset over standard headphones.
Also, are there any accessible VR or AR apps for the iPhone? I'm thinking that Microsoft Soundscape counts as an augmented reality app.
Finally, I would appreciate any pointers to apps or research that is focused on VR/AR for visually impaired people.
Hi, I am new here, so please forgive me if I have not posted this in the correct category. I have recorded a Voice Memo, which is 6Hours Long. I wish to edit it, but in order to Crop it, you have to use Sliders, which ArenβT Accessible. So... Does Anyone know of an App that I can import the recording into, that would allow me to edit it, and that would be Accessible with VoiceOver? Thank You

Hello everyone.
So I was having a conversation with a family member the other day and I got thinking about something that I find to be a very interesting situation. As I am sure you can gather by the name of the topic, that has to do with weather radars.
First, let me say that I am a low vision user of VoiceOver with a fair amount of usable vision.
So, with that in mind...
Are there any reasonably accessible webcam apps out there? What I mean is, I'm looking for an app that gives you access to webcams in various locations of interest, from major landmarks, to streets in major cities, to beaches, say, of various kinds, all live. I would also prefer webcams that also feature audio feeds.
Are there any accessible apps out there like this?
Has anyone found an approach that allows you to use the daily puzzle in the New York Times? I played the original bookmarklet approach until it became unavailable.
Would like to know what's the concession on the best you tube app for iPhone.
I've looked at the official google you tube app & you player in the app store.
The recent reviews on both apps don't seem to be very good.
I realize most of the you tube apps are free, but I don't want to waste my time and "gig" space with an app that won't be accessible and work well.
I'm using an iPhone 4S with the 6.0 ios at the moment.
I'd appreciate any assistance, advice and insight from the group.
Thanks,
Adam
hi, hope you're doing well and staying safe. A big thank you to those that helped me with my last post. I have an iPad mini six and a new Magic Keyboard that I got from Apple. I'm using certain apps on my iPad where I have to use direct touch, my question is this is there any way of interacting with direct touch areas using the Magic Keyboard instead of your fingers? Your help with this question would be most welcome. I look forward to your replies once again thank you very much. Kind regards, Trey.
Hi all,
I've had this problem for several years now, and can't figure out how to solve it. I was told fairly early on that holding down the forward or back buttons was the way to bring up history when in Safari, but that seems to only partially work. When I do that, it only pulls up what I've accessed in that particular tab. How do I tell it to show me everything I've ever accessed since I last reset my history?
Does anyone know how to access links in the official Twitter app with VoiceOver? When I tried selecting the link in a tweet and double-tapping to attempt to activate it, it didn't do anything.
IOS 13.1.2 isn't too bad for me, but I'm disappointed that I can't access links on Twitter again.
When I click on a tweet, VO reads the entire tweet, and there's no way to select a link.
I called Apple Accessability, when I had this issue in documents, but they didn'! have a fix.
Hey y'all. I recently updated my Facebook app and now when I go to the notifications section, it just shows me birthdays, anniversaries, events, Etc. Does anyone know how to access actual notifications like likes, comments, and tags? Thanks in advance for the help.:-)
Iβm using the Perplexity app with VoiceOver, and while the experience is generally good, Iβm having trouble accessing footnotes within the text. The current process involves going back to the sources, swiping right, double-tapping the chevron down arrow button, and then viewing an unnumbered list of sources. This makes it difficult to match the footnote in the body text to the source.
I'd like to use extentions in safari, which came as part of ios 15/iPadOS 15.
I did some research, and figured out how to enabled extensions, once the associated app is installed.
However, my question is, once I have an extension enabled, how do I access it, from within Safari?
