I was talking to the apple representative on the phone about a mac book and iPad pro comparison. He told me that the iPad pro processor is pretty efficient, and from the YouTube videos I have watched it is almost as fast as the MacBook.

I have some audio that I'd like to transfer to my iPhone and play with Voice Dream Reader. I have nothing against iTunes, but I know Voice Dream Reader seems to be a better app for audio books. I also have a DAISY book with audio and no text. The narration is done vy a voice talent, and there is no text. I'm not sure how to transfer this stuff, and could use some guidance, If anyone can give me directions, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I added a two finger quadruple tap as screen text search the same as pressing voiceover with F on a keyboard. When I bring it up with the touchscreen the keyboard does not come up. How do I use voice over screen text search with the touchscreen or does this require a Bluetooth keyboard?

Hi All. Does anyone here have experience of using Voiceover and Voice Control simultaneously on an IOS device? I am predominently a Voiceover user, but am trying to demonstrate Voice Control to my work colleagues. I am using the latest 18.6 version of IOS on my IPhone 16 PRO MAX.

Hi guys,
After searching and getting no where thought I'd ask here. Does anyone know if we can move entire pages around. So, make my page 2 of apps page 1 etc. Google explains how to do this if you are sighted but I can't find anything for VO. I'm sure somewhere I've seen something that said you could but AV doesn't have an obvious post on this and google was useless. Any ideas? Obviously we could move apps 1 by 1 or drag a number at a time but that could take ages and there surely is a quicker way.

Am very happy with the Wallet on IOS, but Apple pay is not working here in Egypt, so, i can not add any credit card,
what i need is that i need to use the wallet app as my credit card storage that i can recall at anytime,
but do not know how can i do this.
any ideas?

Hi all. I'm finding different ways to post to my websites. I can view my sites that have been developed on the Wordpress platform within the Wordpress app. However, I cannot edit the pages after selecting the edit option. I can move around word by word, for instance, but adding text is nearly impossible. Has anyone used the Wordpress app to edit their wordpress site on an iPhone? Thanks so much.

I have spent the last several days trying to find a weather app for the AppleWatch. I can't seem to find one that will give me want I want in an easy to read or understand layout/format.
I have decided that I will use Workflow and the DarkSky API to gather and format the information I am looking for, and then have it run from and presented on my AppleWatch. This way I can have the info I'm looking for without a bunch of extra and so much swiping.
Has anyone done this yet? Is anyone interested in doing this? Anyone use Workflow to access data through APIs?

Hi all. i'm about to use Zoom cloud meetings Wednesday. I've never used this before. Has anyone also used the Mac? I have a link. My questions are: 1. If I click the link, on the Mac, it should work. I hope. 2. If I just type in the meeting ID and hit "Join", I'm sure I would just need to enter the password after that. Is that right? Anyone's tips tricks would help as I wasn't quite expecting this. thanks.

Hi. Is any of us US AppleVis peeps using the USPS Informed Delivery service? As I understand it, once you register for this service, the USPS sends an email with images of the mail that is on its way.
A friend with RP and an iPhone asked if there's a reliable way to make VoiceOver read the printed text from the images, for example, the sender's name and address for each piece of mail. More generally, if you receive an email with an image attachment, how would you read the text in the image?

Are thee any accessible apps that automatically convert from your time zone to UTC/GMT time? I've looked for something like this on the built-in clock app, but am unable to find a way to do it.

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know why an app would suddenly become 100% inaccessible? There have been no updates and yesterday it worked fine. Now August Alink for Bluetooth speaker WS150 simply doesn't work. You can't even use screen recognition as that isn't a rota option. I'm using iPhone 11 iOS 14.6. Anyone else seen this with either this app or actually any app just going bonkers lol. Oh even tried a uninstaal and a phone hard reset and no luck.

About two weeks ago I updated the Uverse easy Remote app and the main Uverse app. From where I sit, they aren't nearly as accessible as they were before the updates. I could check my channel guide, set up shows to record later, nearly anything I needed to do. The accessibility of these apps is why I got Uverse in the first place. This was before Comcast made their box accessible. Before I write to the developer, I wanted to know if the rest of you have noticed the differences? If you have played with either or both these apps and have suggestions, I would appreciate feedback and help.

Hi, all, I just upgraded to the iPhone 6 from a 3gs that I used for several years. I have always been interested in book apps and have discovered some since upgrading to the iPhone 6. I am wanting to submit app directory entries but am still learning about these and other apps so am not quite confident enough to do this but maybe soon. I haven't tried out bookshare's app as I need to wait financially before purchasing that app; however, when I tapped related apps, I discovered that the project Gutenberg has an app and so does librivox live.

I was going through the apps on the IPhone the other day and one app I noticed I hadn't had much of a chance to play around with was Ventrilode. For those who don't know, ventrilode is an app that lets you connect to ventrilo servers. Some one recommended the app to me and it was at a lower price as a deal. At the time I thought I would just buy it before the price went back up, and so I did. This was around the time when I got my new IPhone and I was getting apps left and right as an overjoyed IPhone enthusiast.
