iOS and iPadOS Gaming

Post Date:
Hey all, I recently purchased guitar hero for IOS. I found it to be very ccessable. VoiceOver reads all the menus nd the song lists. Obviously, when game play begins, you have to turn off VoiceOver and the colors are located just aboove the home button. the way you know what color totap, is to jus6 have fun and guess or have someone sighted help you. If you do decide to play on your own, I suggest you either know the song your playing or you have a sence of musical therry, such as timing, tempo, measures, thatsort of thing.

Nice idea for an app, using game mechanics to help you form/break real life habits.

The developers are looking for accessibility feedback, its a native iOS app so really easy for them to make screenreader improvements. Leave any comments here:

Hey guys, I have some really bad news. I cannot find Hachi a retro, virtual pet in the App Store or in my purchase history. It’s almost as if the app has completely been wiped out of existence because I can’t even find it here on Applevis anymore. If any of you can find it, please let me know.

I have heard that Hanging With Friends is usable with VoiceOver, so I installed it today. It's not very intuitive. Just wondering if anyone here has successfully played it and might have any tips and tricks? Thanks.

I just heard a review of this new game on AppAdvice, and was wondering if anybody has tried it yet? If so, how is accessibility? here's the link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blackbar/id672002602?mt=8&ls=1 It costs $2.99. Here's the description: Blackbar is a text game: a sci-fi story of a dystopian future told through the medium of word puzzles. Reminiscent of text adventures and interactive fiction, it has a unique mechanic centered around the concept of censorship.

Hi all,
Has anybody tried the game stop? From what I can tell, it is a trivia crack type game, that is, you have a time limmit and you have to compete for dominance with cleverness and haste. It is a word game where you are given catagories and you're given a letter and you you have to type, yes type, a word that starts with that letter and that matches that category. It looks somewhat accessiible, but it also seems like one of those things where the app developer didn't format their buttons correctly, so it says something like:
country
button
city

Hi,
Has anyone had any luck with the business pack in bitlife? All of my characters who I try to steer into owning businesses, their businesses go down the tube probably within 20 years. Any tips? I want my guy, who is an ex-royal, so he has money, to become the owner of a car company. I just think that would be funny, due to the real-life character he's based on.
Anyway, any tips would be appreciated.

Hi, I am new to this website and I was wondering if anybody played Grophland?
I want to befriend some of you on there and send grophland mail to each other.
I know a lot of people are not always on there, but I would love to make friends and talk about the game a little bit more. I am new to the game and currently doing a fairy healing quest.
It’s taking me a little bit of time to finish it, but I’m hoping I can finish it in a timely manner lol.
I'm Currently figuring out how to combine items, but so far I’m not quite there yet.

I've heard that Haypi Monster used to be accessible, but when I tried it out, it wasn't accessible. Anyone else tried it?

Hey y’all,
I recently found out about BitLife’s new game, CatLife and I want to know if anyone has tried it before I download it. They have another game, DogLife, that wasn’t accessible w/VO and was a huge disappointment especially because the concept of the game sounded interesting.
Would really appreciate your comments.

Hi all,

I just upgraded Fruitpot to version 1.44.
I am running iOS 10.2.1 on an iPhone 7.
When pressing the spin button in the game, I hear the sountd effects when spinning, but the contents of the wheels are not spoken.
If I explore by touch, I can read the wheels, but I was getting the contents spoken in the previous version.

I am wondering if anyone is experiencing this issue.

Thanks

Bob Hill

Hi all, especially my fellow South Africans reading this. Ever since Life of a mercenary Was released on Hosted Games last year, i've been having trouble loading or starting the game. A friend of mine also couldn't get it started on her iPad. I've tried different devices, different networks, I've sent emails to their support and even sent them a sysdiagnose. No matter what i do, they keep saying that they are unable to reproduce my problem and therefore can't do anything.

Hi all,
Has anyone tried to play Heardle on the iPhone? I've managed to get it to work from my computer, but the way the combo box works doesn't make it easy to do on the phone. Has anyone had any luck with this?

Hi all. Hearthstone was accessible for 1.5 year because a programmer made it happen all by himself. Great work.
He made a AAA game accessible for us with great replay ability.
However, he cannot do it anymore by himself and he quit.
Therefore, there are two petitions created for Blizzard to make Hearthstone accessible.
These are:

Somebody in the audiogames forum said that you could play hearthstone with the mobile app using voice over recognition. Has anybody tried this here? For those who don't know hearthstone is a card battle game based on the world of warcraft universe and it's free. It has more than 2.500 cards and every quarter new cards are added to the game and some leave so it's always fresh, addictive and great great fun. It never gets tiring playing because most games are different especially in wild format. For more information please check

Hey guys,

I've been blind for two years now and I've been thinking, could Blizzard make Hearthstone accesible? I know it would be very, very hard but not impossible. Maybe if we gather some people and send mails to Blizzard they will try. What do you think?

Hi Everyone! Hell Hunter 2 - Damned Soul for mobile is finally here!

Actually someone might have noticed that the mobile version was already launched some day ago, but i decided to delay a bit the public announcement, in order to allow testers to test one last fix to allow a smooth relic transformation.
If you already got the mobile version, please update your game: now that update is public!

All the latest changes and fixes i made in the pc/mac version are included, among them i remind the new accessibility options, i added accessibilty settings for partial deafness issues:
- Extra option in the inventory (battle background volume settings) to tone down the most noisy background musics in battle, default volume is 100%, you can set it to 70%, 40%, 10% and eventually set it back to 100%
