Hi everyone, I'm a game design student who recently researching on mobile game for blind gamers. And hopefully I can design a great mobile game for Blind Gamers.
I found a few interesting audio games, like The Nightjar. But beside it, it seems like most of it are text games or card games. And I found that a lot of Blind Gamers just play game with VoiceOver function. And please do me a huge flavour, here are some questions I hope all you guys can answer:
I'd appreciate feedback on Access Darts for iOS - it's a new game just out this week based on standard pub darts. It's a graphical game developed for Switch Users, but I've built an audio layer from the start for VI users. It self voices (English only) and provides additional audio cues for play timing.
I'm a developer for the game Timecrest for iOS, a choose-your-own-adventure style interactive fiction RPG. We received an email from a voiceover user named Brad who told us that our game was 95% accessible and gave us information on this forum on how to make our game better accessible for voiceover users.
When we came over to check the forum, we were humbled that Timecrest was recommended by users here, and embarrassed that the game was not 100% accessible to voiceover users, and have to admit that we're very new to developing accessible software.
I just recently published an update to add VoiceOver support to a game of mine, called Sushi Go. I would love for people to try it out and give any feedback - interactions that could be improved, etc.
Sushi Go is a cute, light strategic card game by Phil Walker-Harding and Gamewright Games, and this is the official iOS version. You play sushi from a conveyor belt in different combinations, try to get the most points and prevent the others from doing the same. Be advised: it's a paid app!
Hello there audio gamers,
So i recently purchased the inquisitor adventure audio game a couple of days back but for the life of me can't figure out how the game works,
I am father emerich and am supposed to go to a small town called caracas which is supposedly taken over by a lady sort of demon.
I am at the very first level of the game and i seem to be stuck in the stable without a clue of what to do next.
I was wondering if there was some kind of user guide or is there a tutorial which could guide me through this game?
I was wondering if any of you have suggestions for developing a new puzzle app that is screen reader compatible. This could be an entirely new concept or an accessible version of an existing puzzle. For my master's thesis, I am trying to create a new digital puzzle that is accessible to anyone with a visual impairment. I know that there are relatively many accessible word games (mainly anagram based), like Blindfold Word Games and Accessible Hangman. Do you enjoy these? Or do you prefer puzzle apps such as Blackbox?
Hi I have recently lost my reading vision. My husband and I used to play cards on iPhone or iPad but the these don’t work with voice over. Does anyone know know of multi player or card or board games with voice over

Hi. I'm pretty new to the forum. But not new to gaming. I've basically enjoyed different audio interactive novels. I've played one called Minesite and another which is called 1812 heart of winter. What I'm wondering is is there more interactive audio novels or games out there that rely on sound and choices?
I am a developer. I am looking for the best apps available for someone who is not familiar with the iPad, my uncle. He has macular degeneration and loves to play computer games. I have written Spoken Slots and Spoken 21 and will soon release Catch 52, but I want to populate an iPad2 with a dozen or so games that he can play. Which games have you enjoyed, purchased, or recommend I include on his iPad?
Thanks so much for you answer and any feedback on my games.
Ahoy all.
Been looking for these type of apps and was wondering if any of you are using any?
I am mainly interested in arms simulators,I.E weapons guns and such but I wouldn't mind others.
They don't have to be fully accessible, but enough that it can be used would be good.
Falcon wings.
Hello listers: I am looking for a statecraft or nation building strategy game which is voiceover accessible and can be played on my iphone. On the internet I read that tropico is a very good game for this. However, the tropico game that I downloaded for my iphone is completely inaccessible. Can you recommend any other statecraft or nation building strategy game voiceover friendly? Many thanks. Zdenek
In the lead up to the release of Chapter 3 of Circus Master’s Revenge, I interviewed the game developer about the development and future of CMR. He is putting the final touches on the new release. He asked me what I would like to see in the next version of CMR. I gave him my thoughts, but I thought it would be even better to crowd source a list of suggested improvements.

I’m a UI designer at Freshplanet, a company behind SongPop, the popular music trivia game.
We recently built a SongPop spin-off just about Rock music, RockOn. Are currently working on making the game accessible using voice over and looking for blind and low-vision users to help us test the latest build. Anyone interested in testing their Rock music knowledge? :) If so, please contact me.
