Hi, in 14.4 Voiceover no longer reads who is calling even if they are in your contacts. Is anyone else noticing this?

Haven't noticed this yet

I haven't noticed this particular issue, but most of the actual calls I get are robo calls. I've turned on the function for it to tell me who's calling, but since I have distinct ringtones for all of my closest friends and family, I don't truely rely on the call announcements. I still hope this gets fixed, though, as it would be helpful to hear who's calling when I hear my default ring tone.

Yeah, it doesn't read it…

Yeah, it doesn't read it aloud anymore. Pretty annoying.

This has been happening since 14.2 for me. I noticed that it seems to fix itself if I switch to a different voice.

Voiceover reading contacts

The first thing I would do is reboot the phone.

A similar problem happened several iOS versions ago. The solution was to delete your contacts from the phone and get the backup from the iCloud backup of contacts.
