Apple has today released iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.

iOS 15 brings a redesign of Notifications and a new Notifications Summary, a new Live Text feature that recognizes text in photos and across the operating system, a highly-customizable Focus Mode that helps reduce distractions by filtering notifications based on what you are currently doing, spacial audio and other improvements in FaceTime, privacy enhancements, and more.

Another Autumn means another release of iOS. Just like releases of iOS dating back to 2009, this release brings a lot of new features and functions for blind and DeafBlind users. Apple has today released iPadOS 14.7. This appears to be a relatively minor update for a single dot release, focusing on a small number of changes and fixes.

According to the release notes from Apple, this update fixes a bug which could cause braille displays to show invalid information while composing Mail messages.

Apple has today released macOS Big Sur 11.5. This appears to be a relatively minor update for a single dot release, bringing only one change and a couple of fixes according to the release notes.

I divided the students into three groups, then sent each group into a separate room to spend fifteen minutes discussing the material. Ten minutes later, I was still in the main room.
