Comments
Well done.
I have tried this app on six shirts so far today and it has done a better job than any other color detection app I have on my iPhone.
Awesome!
This is exactly what I needed and it seems to work great! Thanks!
The app will name itself "Selection" after it downloads; not sure why it uses that title. Its controls are very basic, but its descriptions are really useful.
stains?
Any way this program could be updated so that it could detect stains on clothing? this would be a lifesaver.
...
this goes to show you what a difference would it make when a developer truly understands a blind person's need. imagine one wears an outfit to a funeral because one's trusted color identifier says the outfit is black. the primary color is black alright, but it also has red stripes. this app just saves one from becoming a laughingstock.
Nice app and a question
A nice clean and simple app - Gives just the info one would need, reasonably accurately, and without a lot of useless details.
Question: In the "Examination" dialog there is an element entitled "Camera Mode" that announces itself as "adjustable" by swiping one's finger up/down. However, that gesture doesn't appear to do anything. What is this for?

Thank you for your comments
I am a developer of this application and a free researcher in Japan. Thank you for much feedback.
As for the "stain" of clothes, I will make it future research subjects. Please give me some time.
The word "selection" is displayed in the name of the icon comes from "selection" of clothing. However, I will change to display "Examine Clothes Color" at the next opportunity.
As for Dear PETER 's question, I'm sorry, I do not understand its meaning and can not answer properly. After announcing "Camera Mode", please just press the shutter at the bottom center of the screen. There is no gesture.
Examine Clothes Colour
What an amazing app. I have been registered severely sight impaired since birth, and have spent so long feeling extremely frustrated at not being able to make my own choices regarding what I wear without sighted assistance; all I ever wanted as a child was to be able to make such choices for myself in the way my two fully sighted sisters always have. It's great that this app has now come to my rescue, allowing me to make my own decisions and choices regarding what matching colours without having to wait for sighted assistance. I really like the app's accessibility, and especially its accuracy (in view of the fact I'm probably the world's most useless person at aiming a camera), but the extreme attention that has obviously gone into how accurate pictures come out means I don't need to let this worry me. For me this is by far the best app I have come across to assist me with what used to be such a frustrating aspect of independent living.
Interesting app
Hi. I will try this app. It seems that it can do a lot, thanksz.
Awesome
as others have pointed out, this is easily the best app so far for its purpose, thanks for developing this very useful app, I am going to be using this a lot!
