Hey guys,
Today I got the latest update of Fleksy,and used the copy text feature for something, but when I came to pasting the text I made sure I was on the text field and it was editing and moved to edit in the rotor, but when I flicked down nothing read out, so I couldn't paste the text. I then tried double tap and hold on the text field, but still nothing. This isn't just one app, it is happening system wide accross my phone.
Anyone else having this?Surely it can't be to do with Fleksy update?

As of iOS 16, voiceover voices have been more compressed and less clear. For that reason I never upgraded my main phone. Have those of you who upgraded gotten used to the compressed and degraded voiceover voices now? Does it still annoy you that the voices say “iMessarge” instead of iMessage in ios 15 and below? Have you gotten used to Samantha talking like she’s lost her teeth?

Hi All, I've noticed in the last few days people are posting updates that seem to be inaccessible images/texts. VO simply says "awsome text background" People can then comment etc. However as far as I can tell there is no way to tell what the post is. This could be worrying if this is the way FB want people to post going forward. I may however, be missing what this actually is. Anyone else seen this or have a clue what it is?

So shortly after updating my iPhone 14 to the latest build of iOS 26 my faceID completely stopped working even after multiple reboots. S successfully managed to disable faceID to reset it but it just doesn't scan my face at all on step 1 and I'm stuck on that screen.
I see conflicting but similar reports on the web about that, anybody here having the same?

Recently, sometime in the last couple of weeks, Red Laser has stopped giving me useful results. Previously, I would get the item name, any reviews, and links to however many sources selling the item Red Laser could find. It was really very useful and has been the best at quickly scanning UPC codes out of all of the apps I've tried.

I'm using iPhone 13 Pro max with the latest IOS and the up to date whats app app when I'm trying to answer to a poll in the app the voiceover is telling me I have to update my app to the latest version in order to answer to the poll
when a sighted person tried to do it after I turned the voiceover off he was able to answer to the poll so seems to me that the problem is with the whats app accessibility
Has someone faced the same issue?

Hi All,
Has Text recognition been removed in ios? Whilst it seemed to be getting worse as each ios 11 update came along, suddenly, it doesn't seem to work at all. I used to get VO saying button possible text and it would then read it. Or in Facebook 3 fingr single tap on a photo with text would read what was there. Now no matter what I do just get centre of screen etc. I'm on ios 11.4 with an iPhone 8. Can anyone still access this.

When using the Mail app, we can now delete all our emails at once. From within any mailbox, just double-tap edit at the start of the page and double-tap on select all at the start of the edit page also. You can then double tap on delete at the end of the page and get rid of all messages. Not sure if this was mentioned before, But I'm glad for it.

I have the app installed on both phone and watch. It used to give me a ton of notifications, now i have none. I just opened it and 11 notifications are active. i'm using latest IOs and latest WG update. Is it on their end? If so, I understand, i'm just asking for some clarification. btw I was grandfathers in so maybe i should restore purchases? thanks all.

I've noticed recently so Can't say from what iOS version but suspect from sometime in 13 onwards when answering a call the option to decline the call has vanished. I'm sure you used to have an option to decline a call or am I wrong. If not does anyone know if this is VO or a change from Apple for all which would be odd. iOS13.2.3 iPhone 8 in case this is still there for other phone/iOS versions.

I have a couple questions about the facebook groups app for IOS. One is, how well does it work with voiceover? and two is, is there push notifications for things such as people wanting to join a group, Etc? I have a group going, and I am finding it hard to keep up with people wanting to join. Any help would be appreciated. If this app does not support push notifications for people wanting to join groups Etc, is there an app that will? Thanks in advance.

I've just upated to iOS 17 and Daniel Enhanced has disappeared from the list of voices. It only has the normal Daniel, which is lower quality. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Has anyone ever heard of someone having 2 Apple ID's on 1 iPhone? My friend has an iCloud account that stores her backup and then in her iTunes app store, she has a gmail account where all of her apps download too. If she did a restore, how could she sign back into both accounts again? Whoever set up her iPhone, did the 2 accounts. Or, could she have just her iCloud account for everything? What will happen if she signs out of her gmail account for the app store and uses her iCloud account for iCloud backups, iTunes, and app store?

Hi all. I've posted about this before, so I'm sorry to be asking the same question, except now there's a problem. When I write something like 60 degrees, I don't know how to do the symbol on either the phone or Mac. :) I tried this morning, and when I double tap and hold on the 0, i feel a haptick feedback, voice over then says "Moving insertion point." I sometimes can not get the characters. When I managed to get them to appear I couldn't select what I wanted and I hid the alternative characters. so can anyone help me with this? I'd appreciate it.

When I’m composing the message and wanting to add a link, the paste option is not available. How do you attach links in the message? The computer is easier than this iPad and version 14 messed up my iPad badly!!!!

I just installed Dark Sky on my iPad Mini with Voiceover. How do I receive alerts advising me about rain startine in my area? Allso, how do I have the forecast show up in Notifications? Per the Apple Vis podcast #628, both of these alerts were possible with IOS 8. Are they possible with IOS 9?
