iOS and iPadOS

I just found out another way to delete all the photos at once on iPhone while playing around with my device. No need to use Mac or PC.
I used a feature in iOS 9 that is often overlooked by many users. This feature allows us to select multiple photos just by performing a swipe of a finger.
This is how the feature works:
1. Open the Photos app, go to an album
2.Tap on the Select button.

I was attempting to figure out how to determine a route from one place to another using public transit busses and /or subways, and was trying to plan a route from one address to another using Google Maps. For some reason nothing happens after I double tap on the navigate button. Could this be because I'd have to know the exact bus stops rather than the actual addresses I'm leaving from and going to? If that is the case, I wonder if any of the gps apps can present a mixed combo of pedestrian and transit routing information when going from point A to point B?

If any of you iPhone users use the alex, victoria, or fred voices, there is a hiden feature, adjusting the speech rate during reading. I have tested this feature in the pronunciations sections. It seemed to work well. I also figured out the scale in which you can adjust the rate. 0 to 200 is 0 To 40%. 300 to 1000 is 60 to 100%. If you’d like me to post an example of how it looks slash sounds, contact me using my contact form.

I am using pages with a bluetooth keyboard to my iPad. It works really great.
The only thing I cannot seem to figure out is if there is a way to actually get VoiceOver to read the document for me?
Note: I do NOT have a computer, just iOs.
Edit: With this, I mean reading it without having to press the down arrow button like crazy and then just get short sections read.

I'm wondering if there are any clocks accessible by voice over that can allow you to get teh full time including seconds, and if at all possible, for those of us with braille displays, we can keep a finger on the passing seconds, if you will?

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off website detection when using the barcode mode in SuperSense? Sometimes when I am trying to find a barcode it will repeatedly detect the website and it can be annoying as I want the barcode and not the website..
Thanks

Hi guys, I have an iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 17.5.1, and something happends with headings reading.
When I move between headings VoiceOver read me ā€œheadingā€œ without the number of the heading.
For example: ā€œheading 1ā€.
I think that it’s something happens on my VoiceOver Settings.
Iā€˜ve done Factory restore Settings but it’s disappear and back again.
It’s happens on Safari.
Somebody had this issue?

Hello. I bought some music a while ago but got rid of it a couple of days ago and now when I look at the bought section I don't find it but when I look for the albums I see that they are bought. How can I redownload them? There is no download button I have seen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you have previously subscribed to iTunes Match and have a large music library stored in the cloud, you may want to be careful when signing up for Apple Music. When I signed up for the free trial, my existing music library in the cloud became totally disorganized. Albums became split up with some songs showing the wrong artist. Luckily, I have backed up my old library and have turned off Music in the Cloud on my iPhone. I am perplexed as to how Apple could have made such a mess of iTunes match by mixing up the metadata associated with the albums and artists.

Hi All,

Seriously aggravated Bruce, here. Something calling itself either "minimize speaking bar" or "expand speaking bar" keeps showing up on my iPhone screen, and it's getting pretty aggravating. I will thank any applevis user a thousand times if she or he can tell me how to stop it from ever showing up again.

Incredibly grateful for your help,

Bruce

Hi, Some people with low vision could benefit from an ABC-format virtual keyboard option on an iPad. Any possibility of getting that to happen in future? Thanks, Leslie

Hi. ā˜ŗļø

So, as it stands right now with the current version of iOS, you have the ability to turn certain voiceover sounds on and off, but I think it would be awesome to customize the sounds you hear. For example, if you want to change the item focused sound from that annoying click sound that sounds like smacking cardboard together to a sound more suitable on the ears that would be awesome instead of turning the sound off altogether. What do you think?

Hello,

I thought I would bring this up to others in the hopes that I was not hallucinating. I know that it was announced that in iOS 10, we will be able to remove the shortcuts of Apple stock applications (e.g. Calculator, Stocks, Podcasts, etc.). Although the app itself will not really be removed, just the shortcut, but if we wish to add one of these apps back to our phone, we can download it from the App Store.

I usually text with a WiFi only iPad but have to use my iPhone sometimes when the other person isn't using an
Apple device. So I am surprised to find that after my daughter switched from an iPhone to a Google Pixel we are still able to text back and forth, me on my iPad using iMessage. Just thought it was an interesting discovery.

Hello all,

I like the method of restarting VoiceOver by clicking the sleep button six times quickly.
On iOS 10.1.1, it works to click it five times.

On iOS 10.2, it does not work.

I use iPhone 7 on iOS 10.2 with VoiceOver, in Japanese language setting.

I asked Apple accessibility team by email.
I got reply'
> In our testing on iOS 10.2, we were able to press the Sleep/Wake button five times quickly to reset springboard.

How about in your environment?

Hello,
I am using iOS 12.4.1 version.
I didn't install iOS 13.1.2 because Voice Over has some pronunciation problems with the Turkish voice synthesizer.
I realize that if I update, I can't go back because Apple has closed iOS 13 signatures.
Therefore, I would like to ask you;
Should I install iOS 13?
Are accessibility issues resolved?
My device is the iPhone XR.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hi! I had read by some of users that they have installed Ios 7.01 for their iPhone 5S. I have iPhone 5 with Ios 7.0. Can I also running Ios 7.01 or is it just for 5S?
