Dear All, I downloaded the latest update for the acessible fruit machine this morning. I always look to see what the updates are and this one suggested that there were a couple of bugs fixed and better accessability. However, although the buttons appear to be slightly better positioned the symbols on, the reels are no longer spoken by VO, so the app is no longer useable. Am I the only one experiencing this and need to download again or is this a case where an accessible app is no longer accessible? Kind regards, Steve.

Hello,

I'm looking for an app that is accessible with VoiceOver for sharing and creating gifs/memes. I haven't heard of any developers who are working in this space, but it would be nice to have an app that works with voiceOver for sharing that one hilarious gif that says what you can't explain with your own words. I look forward to your suggestions.

Hello,

I've been trying to find a reasonably accessible app that could allow me to use GitHub. I've tried a couple of them and found them to not be that accessible. I was wondering if anyone out there might have some suggestions or know of one that is reasonably accessible to use.

Would appreciate any assistance. Thanks!

Hi, I am a Malaysian iPhone user. I am actively searching for accessible GPS apps to help with my travel. I noticed that there are many choices available like Sendero GPS, Blind Square, and Seeing Eye GPS. Based on what I heard, GPS app will differ in accuracy based on location. Before I blindly buy a GPS app and then discovered that it is not usable, I would like to ask for some recommendation. I would like to know if there is any accessible GPS app for me to use in Malaysia. Thanks in advance!

Hello.
I'll soon be in a situation where i'll need a graphing calculator that's accessible.
I found a standalone device for like $650 but that's insane. It would shock me if there isn't an accessible graphing calculator for the iPhone.
Does something like this exist?

I've been blind since birth, and I'm a VoiceOver user. I recently discovered that the handwriting mode in the rotor is accessible with VoiceOver. I was never taught the complete alphabet, symbols, special characters, etc., when it came to writing print in school. Is there a VoiceOver accessible tutorial that I can use to learn that? I know braille inside and out, but being able to use the handwriting mode would speed things up a lot.

I have one of the old talking clocks with indoor/outdoor temperature, which is obtained via a wireless sensor. The sensor must have been damaged yesterday in a bad windstorm that we had and is no longer working. So I went on a search for iOS apps that would display the indoor and outdoor temperatures for my location. Has anyone tried any that they have found to be accessible with VoiceOver? I'm using the latest update of 12.1.2 on an iPhone 8. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone have any recommendations for accessible recipe apps? I would like to be able to save recipes that I've tried and liked. I'm currently Googling recipes, printing them, and scanning them into VoiceDream Scanner but that doesn't always work real well. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hello,

I will soon be giving a presentation about the accessibility features of the iPad, and how the device can best be used by young children (roughly under the age of 5) with visual impairments.

While I feel I am quite versed in the use of VoiceOver, one area I am not too sure about is the accessibility of third-party early childhood apps. I know there is no shortage of apps available for this age group...but I am less sure as to what is accessible, what isn't, etc.
