Hey all, I am hoping to find an accessible dice app for playing table top RPG games with the kids. Hopefully one that can allow for multiple choices for the dice, such as being able to easily ask for a D20 or two D6 for example. Any suggestions?
BTW, I found a site that has a role playing game aimed at kids that allows you to download .pdf's with all the instructions and printable character sheets, etc. It is :

Hi I'm looking for an easy and inexpensive faxing app,
I remember reading here there was one that had free incoming fax numbers in area code 815.
I can't remember the name,
I looked at ifax and its $17.99 per month.
I would like one to send faxes also that I can transfer the faxes in pdf format to my computer to send out by email or upload the easier the better.
I saw tiny fax and EFAX but I don't know wich is accessible.
Thanks,
Carlos

Hi all,
I hope you are staying cool (or warm) depending on where you live. Here in my area, temps are in the '90s, with heat indicies in the tripple digits. So, suffice it to say, we're baking like cookies. But, I digress.

I'm looking for an email client for IOS/Ipad-OS with the following features.

Hello Everyone,

As I prepare for an upcoming webinar on the iOS App VoiceOver Accessibility Teaching and Testing Plan, I am seeking your opinions on the mainstream apps that are the least accessible with VoiceOver and those that are the most accessible.

Is there an app, or part of an app, that you find best exemplifies thoughtful implementation of VoiceOver accessibility? Please describe how it is particularly accessible and explain why you believe it to be so.

Hey all!

I'm looking at getting a wearable specific to fitness that I can set and forget. I have an apple watch and, it's fine, but kinda uncomfortable to wear for bed, the battery is a bother and, I'm not sure it's complexity helps with my physical goals. I say all this just to avoid someone suggesting the Apple Watch as an alternative. It's good at what it does, it just doesn't fit my requirements.

Hello all,
My name is Zach, and I'm part of a group working on the Clue indoor navigation app for iOS. I just wanted to let everyone know that over the next few months, our group is going to be soliciting feedback from the blindness community, and if anyone is interested in helping us find out more about how you use Clue, please let us know in the comments. Thanks so much, and have a great rest of your day.

Hi. Earlier this year we launched a new app called Sky Kids, giving access to kids TV content in a dedicated app designed specifically for kids. I know there are accessibility challenges with the app, but I would like to get a clearer picture of exactly what the issues are, so that I can feed back to the product team responsible for the app.
If you have a subscription to the Variety or Family pack, and therefore our full range of kids channels, then you can download Sky Kids from the app store and sign in with your Sky ID.
Many thanks.

Hello.
Due to the recent onset of fires in Southern California, I’m specifically looking for fire watch applications.
Specifically one that’s accessible using VoiceOver.
I’ve tried a couple of apps and couldn’t find one that was really accessible.
I use the Weather Gods app and the Weather application built into the phone to keep track of the high winds warnings and red flag warnings and various news sources.
The app I specifically tried is

Hi,

I am looking for free multi-track audio recording software for iOS that is easy to use and optimal for recording vocals. I already tried GarageBand and Hocusai 2, but both of them weren't that easy to use and I couldn't get to the audio recorder interface in GarageBand. If possible, I would like recommendations for such software that has the capability to add voice effects, (auto-tune, muffling etc.) I own an iPad Air 2.

Thanks in advance!

Sincerely,
Maddy

I am looking for a good Bible app that will both allow me to have access to the full Bible, but will also allow me to search for a specific passage and copy it. I'm not sure if the You Version or Bible Gateway apps do this. I understand some other apps do, but I'm not sure which ones others have tried. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello all,

I am new to this forum but I have long been listening to the great podcasts that originate from this site. I have been working with a MacBook Pro and iPhone for the last year or so. I mainly use a windows machine at work. Though I've been shifting my focus to the Apple platforms slowly over this past year, I still get sideswiped by situations I expect to handle easily but don't quite turn out that way. This weekend it has been joining groups in Google Groups.

Hi all,
I have a student who is utilizing voice control with voiceover on his iPad. He is struggling with the phrase scroll left or scroll right to change pages on his home screen. Is there anyway to change the command to something like next page or previous page for voice control? Thank you for any help with this.

Hi everyone 👋

I’m currently exploring iOS apps that are really well-optimized for VoiceOver users. I’d love to experience apps where accessibility isn’t just an afterthought but feels intentional and polished — smooth navigation, meaningful labels, good rotor support, etc.

If you’ve come across apps (any category — productivity, reading, utilities, games, etc.) that offer a great VoiceOver experience, I’d really appreciate your recommendations. Bonus points if you can include the App Store link so I can check them out directly! 😄

Hello,

I recently switched from Android to iOS and I'm not that familiar with the apps available for the iOS platform.

On Android, 2 of the apps that I find useful are:

Prof Reminder: It is an app that can periodically remind (e.g. via sound) about missed calls and unread SMS messages). It can remind about other unread notifications as well, but that is what I mainly use it for.
