I am experimenting with the Hokusai app to edit podcast. For now, I added two tracks, the first track for speech and the second for music. When I edit the speech track the editing applies to the music track. For example, if I need to insert silence to the first track, it is also added to the second track. Any idea how to apply edits to a single track?

Hi I was wondering if there was a way with the current mail app or another mail app to view and edit my email without having it downloading it on my phone. The mail app that comes preinstalled on my phone seems good however I do not like how there is a trash folder. What I'd want and I don't think it is possible would be for the email to be deleted fully from my phone, and go to the trash on the Gmail server. If that isn't possible managing my email online through an app instead of downloading to my phone would be the next best option if it exists.

Hello all. Subject is pretty accurate. I set up my gmail account on my iPhone 7 last week, and everything's working as it should thus far. However, I cannot find a way to set up additional email accounts on there. We've been experiencing wi-fi issues here in my apartment complex, and I haven't had reliable access to my other email account on the Mac. I'm wondering if accessing it from my iPhone will perhaps help the situation a bit. Reception on there has been relatively good, especially when my Mac is shut down and I'm not doing something with the A-Lady.

Does anyone know if I can do this with the focus option in ios 15? What I am wanting to do is let's say if I'm on facebook, youtube or an app that I don't want any notifications disrupting me listening to a video or audio other than texts or phone calls, can I make a focus to silents those?

okay I may not be spelling the app's name right and for that I am sorry. However I have a question about garage band. Say I would like to mix my vocals with a track I have. How is this done on an iPod five running latest IOS with voiceover on? Can I just play the music and sing along with it and record that way? I would like to record some songs, but I can not figure out how to mix music with my vocals. Any help would be great, Thanks.

I have a question for you. If I'm going somewhere using GPS, I usually like to keep the phone in my pocket, for some reason I don't find it attractive to hold the phone in my hand.
That's why it's so important to me that Voice Over constantly tells me how many feet or how many feet to return. i.e. if that distance is decreasing I want it to let me know.

Hi all. I tried to check in to a place using four square, and it forced me to download and install swarm. I find this app hard to use, so have installed checkien. While I like this app and its simple interface, I do have one question. How can I get checkie to post to my twitter and facebook after I tap on the place I want to check in to?

I tried the hearing aid feature and was told that I had a profound hearing loss.
Well, I don't, but perhaps the instructions or use of this feature could be modified.
Here is what I did:
The test tells you to perform a double tap when hearing the tone. The tone is given 3 times in a short sequence. I performed the double tap after hearing the 3 tones.
WRONG!!!
Apparently, one has to perform the double tap while the 3 tones are playing!
After doing it that way, the app did a good job of adjusting for whatever hearing loss I do have.

To my opinion Hokusai is a pretty cool audio editor for Vo users. Unfortunately I don't got any idea how to join one track (e.g. with any ambient background) with another track (e.g. containing an announcing jingle) at a certain position of the ambient track. Does anyone know a tutorial or so that describes that szenario?

I have a question about iCloud: I have an iPhone 4s and often times, I sync my contacts to the iCloud service. Once I finish syncing them, or rather, once I turn off the contacts feature in iCloud, I'm asked whether I want to keep them on my iPhone or delete them from my iPhone. Because I am slightly concerned that they would be deleted, I'm a little apprehensive about selecting the delete option, but I usually receive old contacts when I opt to keep them on my phone. Has anyone tried that option before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance.

Is there a way to set up and manage iCloud mail aliases on my iPhone independently of my computer? I have looked in iCloud settings and mail settings. Also, when I point my Safari browser to http://iCloud.com/mail/ I am automatically redirected away from the site and cannot acces any mail features.
