Good evening. I would like to create and save documents using the Pages app on my iPhone. I use a Braille display with my phone. what are the commands to create, open, and save documents? Can I read and edit documents I have on my phone on my Mac?

Hi everyone. Subject sums it up. I've been helping a sister learn her iPhone with VoiceOver, and we've run into some issues. For now I set up a passcode to unlock her phone. It is 6 digits like mine is, but unlike mine hers requires typing digits in a random order and the thing keeps timing out on us. This has also happened when her sighted tutor is over, and it is rather annoying. Is there a way to increase the amount of time in which one has to input a passcode? We're thinking of setting up Touch ID, but in order to do that one also must enter a passcode.

Hi there. I recently downloaded Weathergods and I must say I'm really liking it a lot more than any other weather app I've come across. I was wondering, is there a way to get the app to play sounds (wind, rain, etc) individually? I am particularly interested to find out since my niece (age 3) is fascinated by how it works, but I would like to be able to show her each sound effect individually to give her a feel of different types of weather. My questions regards the podcast recorded by Thomas Donville related to how to indicate an acccident in Mapps app, in Ios. I tried it ,but if I open Maps, in botm right corner, I don't find the option "Inform an accident", so, I would like to know if this option is available in all countires or only in USA, and if it's available in the last Ios 14.6 version, otherwise, please, Thomas or someone, could you give me more information?, perhpas I am doing something wrong. I am going to finally upgrade my phone this week to one of the new 5 series iphones. I remember hearing that any new iphone will come pre-loaded with the apple pages, numbers, etc. suite of programs.
My concern is that I currently do not have these installed or purchaced for my current iphone. Am I going to lose these apps when I restore my settings? My wife just upgraded to a brand new 5 c and ran her restore but the apps I'm asking about do not seem to be present.
If there could be a problem losing the apps, I'd like to know before I just jump in and hit restore.

I love the pronunciation dictionary in iOS. When I dictate how a word should be pronounced and then choose from the list of possible pronunciations, I notice voiceover reads them as symbols and letters rather than words. Does anyone know why this is?

Google has recently discontinued google sync for free gmail users, meaning that I can no longer get push gmail notifications on my iPhone. Does anyone know of a good, accessible sollution to get around this?

My old iPhone 7, which I used for games when I got my 8 is in the process of going kaput I think. That's a big deal, because I have bitlife, still in it's accessible state version 1.51 I think. When I get my new iPhone, (I have more money than sense, I know, I'm getting an iPhone to use for gaming), will I be able to restore from the backup and keep bitlife intact in it's accessible state? Or will it update when I restore from iCloud?

I have a question regarding the rhapsody app on an Ios device. Is there a way to delete albums or tracks from the library on the Ios device? I can access my library, but I'm not seeing a way to remove tracks that I no longer listen to. Can this be done, or do I need to use the app on my computer for this feature?

I make often presentations of the voice-over use. For this pourpose I connect the iPhone using a Lightning Adapter from Apple to a projector.
Is there a way when using the hdmi-connector to route the Voice-over Audio to the hdmi screen?
It happens quite often, that this is not working.

hi all,,,
up till very recently i haven't used safari much on my iphone and when i used it i found it worked ok.
However since my laptop developed problems i have been using safari much more.
I have found that focus on webpages can be quite unstable and i now understand why people complain about voiceover being buggy with safari and i do think apple needs to work on fixing this as text nabigation on pages is very difficult.
So my question relates to safari alternatives as i do think current issues affect my speed of using the browser, do the alternative accessible browsers suffer from similar

Hi I was wondering if it is possible to scan in Amazon gift cards using the iPhone's camera. If so how do you line up the card? Do you have to pull off any sort of protective tape covering the barcode? If so any tips to finding where that is? What the protective label feels like etc. Any help would be great.

Hello, all, this is my first message on the AppleVis website so I'm hoping I'm posting this in the right forum. A couple days ago, and I think this happened after the security opdate came out to iOS 7, but not the initial release of iOS 7, I'm now having a problem with the search feature ont he TuneIn radio app. I'm using the free version not the pro version, and I can click on browse, and I can double tap on the search box and enter text but when I tap search, it's like there are no search results showing.

Hi All,
I know how to enter my e-mail address on my phone, but I understand that depending on how I set it up that there's one way where when I delete a message from the phone it's basically gone and can't be downloaded anymore and then there's another way where messages stay on the e-mail server and could be downloaded to my computer later on.

I have recently updated to iOS15.1 and was trying the new share screen feature with a friend. While trying it, my friend noticed that my VoiceOver was coming through the screen share. When he tried screen sharing, I was not able to hear his VoiceOver. Neither of us were wearing headphones at the time, and I couldn't find a setting that indicates it would have any impact on this.
