Hi all! I am having issues with touch ID. I just got a new iPhone 7 last week. When I create a fingerprint, it does work, but I can go to unlock the phone one time and it won't let me. I try the 5 times it lets you and it makes me enter my pass code. Then I can try the next time, or lock my phone when it acts up before it has been done 5 times, and do it, and it will work that time. So for now I have it disabled. It is just inconsistent as to weather or not it'll work, it's just weird! My question is, should I talk to Apple about this?

Hi there to everyone.
I’m having a strange issue which I haven’t encountered before and I’m not sure when it actually started doing it. When I’m on a call using the earpiece of my iPhone 12 mini not the speaker. For some reason I cannot seem to turn the volume up or down, and I have got into settings And made sure that under sound and haptics is set so the buttons option is switched on for the volume ringer.. I’m just wondering if anyone knows why suddenly the buttons don’t work when using the earpiece of the phone to turn the volume up and down.

Hello to all. When using viswis I am noticing that I can't upload screen ethos or what ever the picture is. It says to check my connection and try again, except I'm on line. and I'm also not getting any answers to my questions. is viswis dead and gone? Here is a screen shot of what I mean.

Last week, VizWiz stopped working for me. The app won't even open. I find it in my app list, double tap like I do all other apps, and it does not open. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, rebooting my phone (several times), and so far nothing has worked. I'm using an iPhone 4S. I've downloaded Omoby, but Omoby isn't nearly as powerful as VizWiz. Has anyone else hade this issue with VizWiz, and if so is there a fix? I've found it to be quite useful, and I'm hoping to be able to use it again at some point.

Hi all I have noticed over the last month that voice over seems to be crashing. This happens when I exit apps using the home key. There are still sounds because when I turn the rotor I can here sounds. The only way to get voice over to work again is to turn it of with the home key triple click and back on again using the same method. I am using an iphone 5s with ios version 8.1.1 [12B435] Just wondering if any one is having this problem. I feel it is crashing less after the recent update but it is still doing it. Many thanks Joe

Hi, I have an iPhone 5 and have noticed the following problems with voiceover and was curious if others are experiencing the same problems... I haven't upgraded to ios 9 because ever since ios 7, voiceover functions seemed to be getting worse with each update... Unfortunately my phone got upgraded to ios 8 when I sent it to apple for the iPhone 5 sleep/lock button recall. Now I have so many problems.

Hi all,
I use iPhone 5s with the newest iOS installed and the Polish language set as default. I’ve noticed that VO has suddenly switched pronunciation of certain items e.g. app store, bluetooth, etc. It still speaks Polish but I can’t deal with this matter. I have set Polish as default and don’t know what else I can do. I’ve restored my device to factory settings but after some time the same has happened.
Please give me a hint what I can do.

I am using Fred for the english us voice. I have it set to that. My iPad is in swedish. The problem I am having is that if I use an app in US english I can do that, but if I tap things like the status bar or go out of the app the voice goes back to another one.
Is there a way to fix this?

I'm having trouble with YouTube.
In the default Apple app, I can't sign in to my Google/YouTube account in order to subscribe or make playlists.
On the other hand, I can't seem to figure out how to operate the web based m.youtube.com site/app.
I really like the accessibility of the default app, but I'm locked out of some features I want to use. I can sign in to the web based app, but it's really confounding to operate with Safari and VoiceOver.
Any guidance would be great. If more specific info is needed, please just ask and I'll gladly provide it . . .

First, a bit about square.
Its a program which allows individuals or companys to process credit cards securely using your iPhone or iPad. They take a small percentage similar to paypal. If we can figure out what needs fixing, and get them to fix it, this is a really viable solution for blind people to take credit card payments at home, or on the go, without huge gateway and virtual terminal fees. From reading the @SQSupport twitter account, they do seem to respond to users.

I have a iPhone 4S. I have been so impressed with the stability of the device and with VoiceOver that I have considered switching from Windows to a Mac. I have questions about using iWork, both the IOS Version and the Mac version. I have found Pages and Numbers to be very difficult to use on my iPhone. As I understand it, the screen layout of these apps would be very different if I were to use them on a iPad and, because of this, I am wondering if they would be easier to use with VoiceOver on a iPad.

Hi, can you create profiles that are triggered on things like a headset being plugged in or unplugged? I would want to adjust ring tone and ring tone volume in call volume multimedia volume message alert tone email alert tone, Wi-Fi and Data. If an app is opened that needs Data or Wi-Fi can you have it be enabled? If you can’t do it by default is there an app that will do these things?

For me, in the latest version of iTunes, the progress indicator that used to appear when downloading a song rrom the iTunes store no longer appears. Now, only the Apple logo appears in its place.
(Please note that I do use ZoomText screen magnification for iTunes on my PC.)
So, can anyone tell me if there is no longer a progress indicator when downloading music on the PC from the iTunes store? If there is, where has it gone now?

I'm looking for an app for complex project management--I need features like the ability to keep track of several projects with sub-tasks, notes on the subtasks, the ability to keep track ot time spent on projects and subtasks.
There are tons of them out there, but not many reviews on AppleVis. I just was looking into 2Do, because it has the ability to add voice notes to tasks. I composed a question to them on their web site about whether the app was accessible with VO, only to reach an image verification thing at the bottom of the form.
