I have a question for the current developer of Voice Dream Reader, whomever that may be. There are rumors, in a couple of recent threads on this site, that at least some of the apps in the Voice Dream sweet have been sold by the original developer to another developer. These roomers are, as far as I am aware, only roomers at this point. The Voice Dream team have posted in one of these threads and claim to be monitoring the thread and so they apparently monitor the AppleVis forums. My question to them is this. Has Voice Dream, in fact, been sold or is a sale currently pending?

In iOS 14 I noticed a new rotor option appearing when cycling through the rotor options with VoiceOver.
When on an app or folder in the Home screen I have "Screen Recognition". Flicking up/down doesn't do anything as with most other options in the rotor. I would have expected options for turning this feature on or off.
I did select to turn on Screen recognition in the Settings, but what is this option in the rotor for and how should it be used?

Hi everyone, I had a rather unique question to ask. I've often heard iOS users, mostly sighted users, saying that if they opened the Control Centre, that they could tap and hold on the Bluetooth toggle and have a list of paired devices show, which they could easily select an item and have it connect to it, all without having to open the Bluetooth settings in the Settings app.

I'm using an iPhone 13 mini with iOS 18.4.1.
I have a question on audio messages with iMessage. When a friend sends me a voice message on iOS, I'm finding it hard to double tap and listen. Simply, double tapping on the message won't play, but would show a transcript screen. The only way for me to listen to the message is to turn VoiceOver off while holding my finger on the audio message in question, then release the finger and single tap. I have to be careful not tap holding the message.

I am using iOS 10.2 on my iPhone 6. I notice that since iOS 10 the layout of the Notification Screen has changed somewhat and I am confused.
Just to make sure we are talking about the same screen, the Notification screen is the dialog that pops up when doing a three finger swipe down from the very top of the screen when using VoiceOver.
So here is my question:
When in the Notification screen and after swiping right with three fingers to get to the first page, I see a number of items such as:

I have a new iPhone XR.
In the Settings / Display and Brightness I have "Raise to Wake" turned off.
However it seems like when I pick up the phone and touch the screen or swipe with VoiceOver that the phone has turned on.
Is this a bug or am I mis-understanding this feature?

I had a while back listened to Thomas' podcasts on Siri Shortcuts and recently upgraded to an iPhone 11. I tried adding the Share Location shortcut from the gallery but am now having trouble continuing with Thomas' instructions as I can not figure out how to get to the shortcut settings, for example to specify the recipient within the shortcut. Is the shortcut setting button inaccessible, or did the interface change a lot in I O S 13 and the method is different now, or is it just good old human error on my part?

I don't know if there's any accessible way to fix this or not as I believe it requires adjusting the pin on the map. and I don't believe that part is accessible. I live in an apartment complex and when I'm using either Uber or Lyft (Lyft is particular worse about this) it will put my address as a range of addresses on my block. Even if I Edit the address it will still change it to a range. Is there an accessible way to adjust the pin so that the driver knows my exact address?

I'm using the default Mail app on my iPhone 6S running IOS 10.2 1 and liked it a lot, but where can I find the Outbox? I have 4 unsend messages I would like to remove, but under Mailboxes, under TelkomSa I can find all the other folders except the Outbox. Is there perhaps another way to remove unsend messages apart from deleting the Mail account and reinstall it again? I use an imap account. I have only one mail account installed.

I'm having trouble with VoiceDream.
One of the libraries I use distributes daisy books that have both the text and audio of the book.
When I import the books into VoiceDream, I want to use the audio since it's human recorded. However, I find that it reads the text to me instead. Do you know how to fix that? Thank you.

I'm a blind musician (cello, beginner) and I'm looking for an app and hardware that will allow me to review recordings of my lesson without putting the bow down all the time to rewind or fast forward. I've tried hand-held digital recorders like Victor Reader Stream and MicroSpeak, but to use these, I need to put the bow down and manipulate the recorder. I'm thinking that an iPhone recording app with a foot pedal to rewind and fast forward must exist but I'm having trouble putting it together.

When I receive my morning or eveing notifications about upcoming weather from Weather Gods, the notification is sometimes so long that it appears truncated on the locked screen. Thus, I can't read the entire notification on the locked screen.
So I activate the notification, the phone unlocks, and Weather Gods is then open.
My expectation is that Weather Gods would open up with the full notification visible. Instead I am brought to the main screen of Weather Gogds with t the hour by hour forcast.

I have a question about 1password and credit card view.
I created a credit card register. Everything went pretty well.
After some time I needed to check the credit card number and related information.
I then opened 1password and in the cathegories tab I selected credit cards.
My credit card was listed at that screen, so I double tapped it to see the information.

I have two questions about adding the clock widget:
1. I would like my widget to display certain world clocks that I already added, but the completely wrong clocks display — these clocks aren't even in the list of my world clocks. Anyone know why and more importantly, how do I fix this? I already added and deleted it multiple times.
