iOS and iPadOS

So, I just put a ringtone on my iPhone 5. I want to use it as a tect tone though and not as a ringtone. However, when I go into settings, sounds, and text tones, it doesn't show up. But if I look for it under ringtones, it's there. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this or if it is just a bug?

Hey guys, I have a quick garage band question. Is there a way to boost the volume of a track or an audio recording so that when you export it as ringtone it won’t be super quiet? I exported a ringtone when played is pretty loud, but when I go to the Settings app and click on the ringtones and stuff like that, it plays back really quiet. Is there a way to adjust that? I have the change with buttons already turned off and I have a sound volume level set to full blast in the settings app. But still, it’s really really quiet.

I've had RNIB Navigator for a few weeks now, and am quite happy with it. I seem to remember stumbling across a way to brows the points of interest without putting anything in the search field. Can anyone help me out with this?

Update: I think they may be completely broken. I just searched "The" and nothing came up.

Has anyone experienced a problem with RNIB Navigator recently?

Whenever I load the app nothing happens for a while and then I get a message that it has timed out. This started yesterday as far as I am aware.

Does anyone use a robocall blocker? I'm looking for a good accessible one. I know you can silence all unknown callers but I'm not sure I want to have to add anyone who might possibly call me to my contacts. I tried Youmail, and it's the most accessible one I've found, but it didn't seem to block a lot of calls. Right now I'm using Hiya, but it's only partially accessible and the app's interface seems to have changed a lot recently.

Anyone know if it is accessible?

I know that the roder is a powerful tool for changing settings. However, it seems that it just keeps growing and has so many items that it's a struggle to quickly and easily find the appropriate item when needed. I call this condition rodder bloat. In other words we have too much of a good thing. What would be really be handy is to offload rodder items to siri. Imagine how much easier it would be to say something like select text or visited links. Powerful tools should be made as simple as possible.

Is anyone having problems with Roger app? The latest update on my iPod 6th GEN is really killing my battery. The iPod get really hot when I'm using the app. I noticed this behavior a couple days ago. Earlier tonight my batter got down to 19 percent.

In just a few short days, Roger, one of my favorite voice messaging apps will sease to exist. I know about Hey Tell, Zello, WhatsApp, and Threma. I am just trying to figure out which one I should go for. I already hav WhatsApp, but sometimes the messages that I receive take up room on my iPhone. Another app that was recommended to me was BitTorrent Bleep, but I do not know if that supports voice messaging. And I know that Wire is not very accessible. Have I missed any apps? Let me know your thoughts and suggestions.

The Roger team works very quickly! Just a while ago, not even an hour ago as of this writing, yet another update was released that fixes all the issues VoiceOver users were having. With as many Roger users on here, i'm a bit surprised that more people weren't talking about this. Anyways, Thanks to the Roger team for fixing these VoiceOver issues so quickly. Now it's pretty much like back to normal, and when you're listening to someone you can still use the playback rate button too. and all those extra buttons are gone too.

I installed the free roku channel app on my iPhone SE 2020 phone. I then made a free account. Will this app airplay to an apple-tv? Also it won't let me scroll through all the tv channels. How do I do this if possible? The roku channel offers free live tv channels that neither stirr, nor pluto tv offers. But there is no apple tv app so I will have to airplay channels from the roku channel. Any tips on using this app with voiceover will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

If you belong to the Tech VI list and read your email with voiceover on, using iOS 17, does your device say "tech 6 instead of "Tech VI? If so, has any of you reported it yet? I'm planning on doing so myself. We have a "CVI" center here at my work and VO also says "106" instead of CVI.

Hi all. As we all know dictation spectacularly fails most of the time. When i try to switch the rotar from, actions where it brings up the context menu, to say words to scroll down and fix my handy work, it somehow goes right back to the default. I can have it set to words, swipe down maybe once or twice then it's back to "activate context menu". Anyone else have this? It's making me less sane than I was that that wasn't much. :)
