I was wondering if there were any accessible apps for scheduling when you send messages or e-mails, as I know you can’t do this with any of the native iOS apps.
I know third party apps exist to do this, but I’m wondering which of these is accessible.

I just downloaded the IOS10 update to my Iphone 5S., and I'm wondering if anyone else using Iphone 5S hears scratchy or muffled voice-overvoices rather than clear and understandable? In selecting a voice-over voice, I find that the sample voices are quite clear and understandable. However, when I select my preferred "Samantha" enhanced voice for use, it sounds very scratchy and unclear and almost like a retro-computer voice. I tried several different voices, default and enhanced with the same scratchy results.
Does turning on screen curtain on your iPhone actually save battery life? In theory it makes sense, but I’m not actually sure. Or does it depend on what model of phone you have? For reference, I have the iPhone 12 mini.
I've been noticing that Focus mode does not behave consistently when screen curtain is on. I have set Do not Disturb to run automatically for an App. However, when screen curtain is turned on, it does not turn on automatically as expected. No issue while getting the focus turned on when the screen curtain is off. Weird bug.

So, I use screen curtain on my Iphone 12 running the latest version of ios.
I've been noticing for a while that screen curtain seems to turn itself off automatically for some reason, and I don't like that as it affects my privacy.
I also keep the VO speech off whenever I'm not using it mostly.

I am running iOS 8.1.1 on an iPad Air. I just discovered something weird with the screen curtain. I have no idea how I managed to cause the issue, but it did get resolved after rebooting the iPad.
Normally, when I turn on the screen curtain, two things happen. First, the screen brightness is turned down to zero percent, although this is not reflected in the brightness indicator in the control center. The second thing the happens is that the screen is blackened, so that nothing is visible.
Hello, Sometimes screen curtain will not turn off on my iphone 6. The three finger tap will not work and neither will turning the phone on and off. This seems to happen at night and then works again in the morning. I tried to look for some setting that might explain this, but couldn't find anything. Any help is apreciated. Thanks.
Is there a way to stop the screen curtain from going on? I ask because I am a brand new iPhone user, and somehow, my phone mistakenly thinks I am making the gesture to activate this, and I am not. It turns off Voice Over and my sighted roommate has to turn it back on for me. This also leads me to a separate question. Namely, I couldn't find the triple click home button in the accessibility settings. Does this still exist in the 5s? If so, how do you get to it?
Hello there. I installed IOS11.0.2 on my iPhone this morning, and since then i just cannot get into screen edit mode in order to use drag and drop. I’ve tried the double-tap and hold gesture with varying amounts of pressure, the tone does sound but there is no feedback from Voiceover confirming i am in screen edit mode. This is the first time i’ve come across this - all was working fine in version 11.0. Has anyone else been struggling? Am i missing something? Is there anything else i could try? Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Could someone please explain the benefit of the screen recognition feature to me? I only recently acquired an iPhone 14 Pro, having upgraded from an iPhone 8 and I have thus far seen no benefit to enabling screen recognition, even when certain buttons are unlabeled. Most of the time, image descriptions do the same thing as enabling screen recognition would do.
Any clarification on this would be much appreciated.
Hi all. I downloaded an app that's pretty cool called Miles. It's also at www.getmiles.com The site is a bit of a pain but once you're set up, you can choose to set your commute mode. Walk, ,train etc. One of them is rideshare. Unfortunately after i select it it tells me a few simple clicks and I can set things up. except that's as far as I get. There are a ton of unlabeled buttons so I selected screen recognition from the roter. I can use it all I want but screen recognition doesn't seem to show up.
Anybody know if screen recognition is broken? I'm on IOS 18.4 and on my phone and iPad when i use it it takes me to my status bar. Then I can't get out unless I go to the app switcher or close the app completely. Never did this before this update and it's doing it on every app I use it with.
We all know that websites and apps should be accessible and work with screen readers. However, too often, this is not the case and it is a struggle to use them.
