Isn't there supposed to be a blindness app where you can take a picture of something once and then record and/or write a description of what that picture is so that, when you take a picture oft hat same item again, it will automatically identify it for you?
If so, for some reason, I can't seem to remember the name of that app. Could someone please help me with this?
Hi, all! A lot of Youtube channels have stated that iOS 17.1 was going to be released yesterday, or today at the very latest. So far, there's no sign of it anywhere, and I haven't found any videos explaining the delay. I've also heard that Apple had to release the update by today because of some issue in France, so I'm super confused. I mean, I obviously have no choice but to keep waiting, but I'm super excited about some of the promised fixes, so was really looking forward to installing the update.

What is happening with WhatsApp on IOS? When creating a post, Voiceover does not speak anything and I am having to type, in the hope I am not making any mistakes. When I use the Delete key, nothing is spoken either. I realise that WhatsApp is a third party application, but has anyone reported the issues already and, if so, who did you report to? This is driving me crazy, as I have to respond to many WhatsApp posts and I have to work around, by typing my messages in an app like Notes and then Copy-Paste into WhatsApp.
Okay I’m done with WhatsApp it’s clear they don’t want to sit down with me and tell me what the heck is going on with my account so
Is there any free WhatsApp alternatives that will allow me to talk to everyone and allow me to add contacts to address book like WhatsApp
Something basically like WhatsApp but something that’s not WhatsApp
Later I’m planning on contacting the direct company with WhatsApp matter, Because this is never happened to me before

I'm quite surprise that apparently nobody has this problem.
In Italy nobody can use with satisfaction Whatsapp, because it crashes with Voiceover.
It crashes when a new vocal message arrive, it crash if you are scrolling recent chats, and sometime also during new vocal message sending.
Now, I can ensure you that using Whatsapp on Ios8.02 and ios8.1beta2 is absolutely tricky.
If I switch off Voiceover, then Whatsapp become a normal app.
Have you this problem?
So Siri is now suppose to be able to access whats app and one in theory should be able to tell siri to make whats app calls and to send whats app messages. However, with the latest version of whats app and IOS 10 installed, this is not working for me. I have allowed siri to access whats app but still nothing. Has anyone gotten this to work?
Is there a way one can reinstall older versions of Whatsapp? On my iPhone 6S with IOS 10 running, Whatsapp v2.12.16 does not display the Whatsapp contact list when I want to forward a message.
Hi, I am using a iphone 5. Not sure witch ios virtion at the moment. Since I updated whatsapp yesterday, when I read threw messages in a chat, it closes the app, and when I reply to a message voice over stops working and last night took about 4 hours for foice over to start talking. Seerie still works, but mbraille also seams to be on the screen so can't et sighted help to restart my phone.
Please help if anyone can.

Hi everyone, I am sending this message to find out if anyone else is experiencing the same problem as me on Whatsapp. I've seen this bug on Iphone 8 and Iphone SE 2020 with VoiceOver. Very often, when I open a conversation, I double tap on a voice message, but another one is played instead. Another problem is that using the flick from right to left, very often it doesn't make me go back very far in the message history. In fact at a certain point he tells me the name of the window and I can't go back.
After updating to the latest WhatsApp Release, on Ios 15.4.1 Iphone 12 mini,
Both apps are so heavy when opening them, voice over can not read anyting, and sometimes the app crash and stop working at all.

Hi all, we have discussed in other threads the annoying issues with Whatsapp and IOS8.1. With the new version of Whatsapp, the problem seems to be completely solved for me. That's a relief :). I hope it works for all of you!

I use WhatsApp on a regular basis to make and receive phone calls. I have noticed that the call history from WhatsApp is flooding my phone app which is something I do not want as I want to preserve this area strictly for actual phone calls and not WhatsApp calls. Is there a way to,
A. remove WhatsApp history from the phone app all in one go?
B. To prevent WhatsApp from flooding the phone app with the call history?

Hi. I've recentlly started using WhatsApp and have noticed a slight problem. When placing or receiving a call, the voice of the other person comes through on my speaker phone not through the earpiece. Is there any way I can change this?

Perhaps someone has some cure for this very annoying problem. This is with an iphone 4s running IOS 7.2.
My whatsapp keeps continuously refreshing the screen each few seconds. This means that if it is a longish message you often have to try a few times to read it. Also if you have more than one message you cannot read them all because the screen keeps refreshing. Apparently not all users of whatsapp have that problem!
Does anyone have a cure for this most annoying problem?
