We would greatly appreciate if any of you would spare a couple of minutes to answer a few questions about your experience of online communication: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/33DWPBV
Hello.
This post is regarding my quest to find the perfect YouTube app And surprisingly enough, the winner is the YouTube app made by Google. I tried two other ones, Youplayer and McToube. Both were great apps, but here is some reasons why I chose the original YouTube app. For one, YouPlayer has some bugs that are not workable Like for example when you go to search for things, the app crashes and you have to go back into it. That one in particular drove me off-the-wall. And as for Mc two, the accessibility used to be great.
Hi i am using the youtube app on my iPhone, if any of you use it i was wondering why i can't submit any comments on videos and how to talk to people if this is possible.
Okay, youtube was working alright for me till this morning but suddenly VO is reading nothing, no buttens are accessible and basically I can't do anything with the app. Don't know what is happening; I don't suppose I accedentally changed some settings...?
Hello, all. In all of my years of computer and iPhone usage, I have never done much with Youtube or with podcasting. So, I have finally very timidly put my toe into the water.
I did my first Youtube video last night using the iPhone 7 - about a minute and a half devotional thought. Someone liked it and mentioned that they would subscribe to a podcast if I were to do one.
Hello,
I use a youtube official app from Google as a guest. Do you have any ideas how to get rid of adds that pop out before or during a film? Maybe should I use another app to view youtube content or is there any way to pay and get rid of irritating apps wihile using the official youtube app?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
I’ve got the latest model of the iPhone SE, and this issue has persisted from running iOS 17, latest version, to updating to the latest version of iOS 18 yesterday. I have updated to the latest version of the YouTube app, uninstalled and reinstall the app, restarted the phone, and tried anything else I can think of, with no luck. Essentially, I’m experiencing frequent YouTube app crashes, especially when interacting with the comments system. One reliable way I can trigger the error is by trying to sort comments under a video, such as by recent.
As of the latest YouTube for iOS update, the app freezes and ultimately crashes whenever I have a video open and I try to use the voice over three finger swipe gesture to scroll down toward the comments. Running an iPhone 8 with the latest version of iOS. Anyone else having this issue?
Hi. I'm having a problem with the YouTube app. The home/recommended feed isn't scrolling. It says there are multiple pages, as usual, but I can't get them to change with the three finger swipe gesture. If I swipe through videos I can see what's on the next pages, but can't play them. All other lists in the app scroll normally. I've tried restarting my iPhone and reinstalling the app, but nothing has worked. Is anyone else having this problem?
Recently the YouTube app stopped working with voiceover on my iPhone. It did it out of nowhere without me updating or anything. It still works fine on my iPad, but not my phone.
I've tried everything I can think of. I've deleted it and reinstalled, restarted my phone, turned on screen recognition, and nothing. Has anyone had similar experiences?
Hi there, since late last year after a Youtube Ios App update, I have been batttling to navigate youtube easily with Voiceover. You have to swipe up with two fingers to get to the Search option, but since update keyboard doesn't seem wto work. Also skipping ads and even accessing video time skipping etc. has become a problem, voiceover keeps skipping to ad content and other info.
I've recently come across an issue with the YouTube app on my iPhone 12. After disabling auto-play, I've noticed an unexpected behavior in the app.
Once a video ends, the VoiceOver cursor initially focuses on the "Video player" element as usual. When swiping right, however,, the next item in the navigation order is the "Cancel Auto-play" button. This requires interaction before the "Collapse player" option becomes accessible.
After the recent app store update Youtube seems to be broken. Using the usual flick up and down to move forward and back no longer works. How Do I report this to Apple as I cant find support feedback within the Youtube app.
Hi, usual disclaimer that I'm running the latest versions of iOS and the YouTube app, iPhone SE 2020 version.
As of the most recent YouTube app update, I frequently cannot access the like and dislike buttons below videos. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and this seemed to fix it for that session, but returning to the app an hour later, those buttons were gone again.
Anyone else running into this? I can't smash that like button if there's no like button to smash. lol
As of the most recent automatic update to the YouTube iOS app, an annoying VoiceOver bug has returned. In the home tab, the tab furthest to the left at the bottom of the app, a single item in the feed shows up to VoiceOver as three elements -- the length of the video, the title of the video and the info about the channel name, etc. As someone who likes to casually flick through these reccommendations, this is incredibly irritating since I have to flick three times just to advance to the next item in the list.
