Hi all, I've been playing with ios eight for a few days. What is direct touch typing, and how can I be sure not to type the wrong letter?

Hello Everyone,
I noticed that in the new Ios 14 there is a new feature in Accessibility (infact, is the last one that we find inder Accessibility/ VoiceOver) called "Direct touch", but I have no idea what does it do, please, could someone tell me what is it?, is there in this new upgrade any other accessibility new feature?. One thing I find a bit annoying about the new "Do Not Disturb When Driving" feature in iOS 11 is the fact that it always appears in my list of notifications on the locked screen after being a passenger in someone's car.
Why do I need a message/alert on the locked screen telling me that do not disturb when driving was recently turned on? This only clutters up the locked screen with a useless notification that doesn't make a difference to me and I have to clear or disregard.

Hi guys,
I was on holiday the other day and noticed something with my iPhone 5. I had it in the hotel room all day and literally didn't touch it. It was connected to wifi so will have been doing the regular stuff like checking emails every hour and stuff like that, but when I came back to it 9 hours after unplugging it at 100 percent, the battery had gone right down to 25 percent. I don't have a clue how it could have done this. Location services hadn't been used or no apps had been updated. Bluetooth was also turned off.

The subject says it all. I notice that there is a Dictation button in the Mail app when viewing the llist of messages. What is this supposed to do?
