Hi. I'm having a problem with the YouTube app. The home/recommended feed isn't scrolling. It says there are multiple pages, as usual, but I can't get them to change with the three finger swipe gesture. If I swipe through videos I can see what's on the next pages, but can't play them. All other lists in the app scroll normally. I've tried restarting my iPhone and reinstalling the app, but nothing has worked. Is anyone else having this problem?
iOS and iPadOS
Recently the YouTube app stopped working with voiceover on my iPhone. It did it out of nowhere without me updating or anything. It still works fine on my iPad, but not my phone.
I've tried everything I can think of. I've deleted it and reinstalled, restarted my phone, turned on screen recognition, and nothing. Has anyone had similar experiences?
Hi there, since late last year after a Youtube Ios App update, I have been batttling to navigate youtube easily with Voiceover. You have to swipe up with two fingers to get to the Search option, but since update keyboard doesn't seem wto work. Also skipping ads and even accessing video time skipping etc. has become a problem, voiceover keeps skipping to ad content and other info.
Hello AppleVis Community,
I hope this message finds you all in good health.
I've recently come across an issue with the YouTube app on my iPhone 12. After disabling auto-play, I've noticed an unexpected behavior in the app.
Once a video ends, the VoiceOver cursor initially focuses on the "Video player" element as usual. When swiping right, however,, the next item in the navigation order is the "Cancel Auto-play" button. This requires interaction before the "Collapse player" option becomes accessible.
After the recent app store update Youtube seems to be broken. Using the usual flick up and down to move forward and back no longer works. How Do I report this to Apple as I cant find support feedback within the Youtube app.
Hello to all, I want to download youtube vidios and mp3 music in to my iPhone. any app is available?? app must accessible with voisover. Thanks
Hi, usual disclaimer that I'm running the latest versions of iOS and the YouTube app, iPhone SE 2020 version.
As of the most recent YouTube app update, I frequently cannot access the like and dislike buttons below videos. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and this seemed to fix it for that session, but returning to the app an hour later, those buttons were gone again.
Anyone else running into this? I can't smash that like button if there's no like button to smash. lol
As of the most recent automatic update to the YouTube iOS app, an annoying VoiceOver bug has returned. In the home tab, the tab furthest to the left at the bottom of the app, a single item in the feed shows up to VoiceOver as three elements -- the length of the video, the title of the video and the info about the channel name, etc. As someone who likes to casually flick through these reccommendations, this is incredibly irritating since I have to flick three times just to advance to the next item in the list.
Hi!
I have both Spotify and Youtube Music and just wonder wich is better.
Why on my iPhone I donβt have notifications sound and vibration on Google apps like YouTube and Familylink? Thanks
Hi all. I'm not sure if this has been covered before, but here goes. Is it possible to view your comment history on YouTube without having to scroll like a maniac? I recently left a comment on a video and now want to edit it, but unfortunately I can't seem to find it. Any help will be very much appreciated.
I just discovered a feature in the Youtube app or if it is IOs 11. It actually transcribes the video somehow because I was watching my video blog I had made and me and my friend saw this. Is there an easy way to actually read thiz better?
Does anybody find it hard to use YouTube with the new update. For me and now that Iβm clearly labeled buttons and it keeps jumping. Also, the titles are read half and sometimes the videos you click on itβs not the video you want.
On the plus side, reading and interacting with YouTube comments is a dream now -- big kudos to them for that! Also, there are lots more context menus now where you can swipe up or down on an element to interact with it. Overall the update is more good than bad.
After a recent YouTube update, I am using an iPhone 13 pro, iOS version 15.6.1 I am suddenly finding that YouTube only displays about five items,. Even though I try and scroll up it makes no difference. many of the links displayed was not open. Is anybody else finding this problem I have checked the screen recognition is off which is always worked before, are there some other settings that may have changed or is this a YouTube problem??
The subject line says it. Does anyone have a workaround for this annoying issue? On the youtube app I'll be reading through the comments and then an add will play and I'll be thrown out of the comments section which causes me to lose my place while I'm reading. If there's an add blocker that works on the youtube app please let me know that as well.
Thanks
