Apple has sent out the an update for iOS 5 devices including the iPhone 4S that is supposed to fix the battery life and other glitches. The software update adds multitasking gestures to the original iPad, resolves bugs with cloud documents and improves voice recognition for dictation for Australians. iPhone4S owners will get an update notice that it is available.

Apple has released an IOS update today. Although it is only a minor update. IOS 6.1.4 only appears to effect the iPhone 5 users. The only description that Apple gives is that it updates the "audio profile for speakerphone." This can be updated by using the Over-the-Air update through your Software Update on your phone or through the iTunes. Upon, my experience of the update. It does appear to be a very small update. About 2 MB in size. So the update went flawless and quickly. Before anyone ask. Since the file was only 2 MB in size and only fixed a very small code in the IOS.

hi guys:

I am not sure how to tell the story but here goes:

Locked out of your Apple ID account this morning? You're not alone. Here's a 9to5mac article that discusses the issue. I found it to be painful, but nonetheless accessible, to reset my two Apple ID passwords and get back into all three of my devices.

If anyone has any information on what happened, please discuss here.

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if there'll be anything useful for Apple Intelligence with VoiceOver?

I know Google Gemini is being used for image descriptions for TalkBack users. I'm not sure how good those image descriptions are, but something along the lines of better image descriptions would be great.

So, I’ve been thinking about switching from the native Mail app for iOS to the Gmail app on my iPhone.

First question: How do I do this without creating any problems for myself in the transition?

Second, what are the pros and cons of both apps I should first consider?

Third, what happens to mails stored on my phone? Are they all going to get deleted? Will I have two copies of them on my phone if I still keep the native Mail app on my phone?

Hi all. I can not zoom out on maps with voice over on. Is there any way to use this app or down load an app that I cantrack the distance I walk from point to point?

Hi, I am in India and I was under the impression that Apple maps were not available for India. Today for fun I opened maps and it read the names of a few cities such as New Delhi, Capital, Mumbai, Kolkota etc. However when I tried for directions, it said "No directions available" It could get my current location. What could be on? Where can I contact for clarification? Thank you.

I'm not sure if anyone has discussed this yet but I recently discovered that Apple Maps has a tracking feature that's similar to the monitoring in Ariadne GPS. At the bottom left of the maps screen, there is a tracking button. If double tapped once, tracking is turned on. When double tapped a second time, it will say tracking with headers. This feature will give continuous feedback. It will announce the street that you are walking on as well as the streets you are approaching. It will also announce when you are on the streets that you were approaching.

Hello,
I've decided to use Apple music, just for the first three months right now. I find this really nice as I can download full albums and listen to them offline.
I have a question: one of my devices is used by my daughter on my Appleid. When one of us adds music to the library or downloads/deletes the content it is deleted or added on all devices. Is it possible not to synchronise data but enjoy listening the content offline? Please note that I use the regular subscription for one member. Thank you for your help!

Hello,
I have a question for AppleMusic regular subscribers.
From the main music app's window, if you double-tap and hold on current playing song's title, a pop-up will appear, asking to play, share, like, dislike, create station and whatever.
And OK.
But on the lock screen, the behaviour is different.

I am playing a track from an album. What I want is to play a random track next. Autoplay setting is on. But it plays the next track from the album. Only when it finishes all the tracks from the album, it picks another random track. How can I make it autoplay right from the next track?

Hope I could make my question clear. Thanking in anticipation.

I have been using Apple Music Classical since it was launched late last month. So far, I have found it to be fully accessible with VoiceOver, which is very encouraging for an initial release.
