iOS and iPadOS

Hello all, For many years I have been using ClockTalk to announce the time every 5 minutes while I get ready for work in the morning to stay on track, however this is no longer on the store. I have tried a number of apps that are meant to do the same thing, but they are either not intuitive, accessible, or up-to-date. Does anybody know of something that works well, or should I look at contacting a developer to make something new?

Hi all!
I have a question about ebook buffet. I'm a cheap skate and a bookworm, so as you can imagine, I'm always looking for a good deal on books. Well, I heard about this app called Ebook Buffet, and thought I'd try it. But, I looked, and the dev hasn't updated it to be compatible with ios. 11. So, I was wondering if there were any similar apps? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone else besides me noticed this? There seems to be a delay opening apps using Siri. I'm using the latest of ios 10.2.1

hi all, I have recently started creating shortcuts for apps on my phone for use with siri, and i've got some for weather gods, and dark sky weather. what I would like to know is, does anyone know of any accessible apps besides these two that work well with voiceover, and also have the ability to create siri shortcuts to work with them? I absolutely love using siri shortcuts where ever i can to not have to open an app.

Hi,
Are their any apps that work with voiceover where you can see when places like Best Buy or amazon restock on products?

Hi, all!

Can anyone recommend a free app that converts time zones?

I have meetings with 2 different organizations. As a result, I deal with 3 time zones: Central time, Pacific time, and my time zone which is Eastern time. So, what I need is an app that can convert any time from those time zones into Eastern time. For example, converting 2 PM PT. into Eastern time.

I have tried asking Siri, and have not had any success. While I normally ask Amazon, but, I would like to have a backup in the form of an app.

Hello! I have a few questions for you all.

Hi All,

I have the allergy app from WebMD.com and it's accessible, but I'd like to find another app to compare this app too because although I have no reason to doubt what it shows I really don't know how accurate this WebMD.com app is. Has anybody found any apps for the iPhone that shows pollen levels for specific areas that are accessible?

Thanks.

I am trying to get started on moving more. I mostly sit. I have a series four that is dying. the battery is about toast. I want a series eight apple watch so it can track my oxygen and such but I cannot afford one. I don't know what to do there but charge my series four till i cant but in the meantime. are there any apps for morbidly obese people to get them started? that are accessible. My thing is this all these apps say they are going to help but they are for people who only want to lose oh five ten pounds. No, I need to lose a couple hundred. and it hurts so bad to even walk.

Hi I am a teacher of children who are blind and I was wondering if there were any Apps which I could use with them on an iPad? If there are enough and they work well with one particular child, I am hoping to invest in an IPad for her use. However, I don't want the Dept of Education to spend money that is not worthwhile. Many thanks Eileen

Hi all!
I wander if there is any satisfactory app to measure blood pressure, pulse and oxigen saturation by using iPhone without Apple Watch.
Thank you in advance for your answers!

hello guys, so I'm looking for an app that can uplink with my windows computer, so I can control it remotely when I am away.
Now, I'm not sure if such an app exists, I just know that my sister, and brother have been able to do it on their phones, but then they are fully sighed and are using android phones.
However, I thought I'd ask, does such an app exist on the iphone?
If so, is there an accessible version of it?
Thanks a lot!!!

Dear All, As a blind postgraduate research student based in the United Kingdom I am finding it impossible to find an accessible mp3 player that is still available that can be connected to a foot switch for hands free controll so that I can transcribe my research interviews effeciently.

Hello all, I'm sorry if a post similar to this one exists but I searched and could not find anything.
I use an iPhone six and a BrailleNote Apex.
Soon the BrailleNote will be taken away for fixing. That is the only device I use for school, and I will not get a temporary replacement. I will get a computer but that will not happen until next year if all goes according to plan.
So I figured I have to work with whatever is available to me at the moment. In this case it's the iPhone.

Hi, all, I have tried several apps to watch tv on my iPhone 6 lately. One worked well but has been updated and no longer works like it did so is useless to me. I downloaded Dish Anywhere since I'm subscribed to dish, and unfortunately, I have found it to be very user unfriendly and inaccessible using voice over. I found the show I wanted but couldn't get to the episode I wanted to watch/listen because the page wouldn't scroll down to show something at the very bottom that was a menu and menu option.

I don't think they will be changing the explore by touch only when navigating photos. This makes it harder for me to find the ones I've labeled with image descriptions. Anyone know of any apps where I can scroll like before and still have image descriptions attached?
