iOS and iPadOS

I am really not good at submitting apps I guess. Anyway. From what I can tell each app has a similar layout. With just different content. So you can be assured you aren't wasting your money on this. If you want more details ibird pro for bird lovers may be more your thing. But I figure I can just use wikipedia or such if I want more info on the species in question. Just be aware for some reason green mountain digital do not name each app when installed by like let's say audubon birds or audubon mammals or such like. I don't know if there is a work around to this.

Hello everyone. In my testing of the light versions or free versions of these apps. I find the adubon apps except one nature tap are accessible. Nature tap may be accessible I didn't play with it long. Audubon apps are made by green mountain digital In my findins I found audubon apps have much better labeled sounds that ibird does. And their organization in my opinion is much better designed. And works better with voice over than ibird. Ibird on the other hand has a bit more detail on each bird although if you want more detail you could use wikipedia.

Is anyone else having trouble with SBS News app with Voice Over? When selecting a news item the wrong article is displayed. Same on all my ios devices. SBS says there is no problem.

hello.
i got this app as one of the first results when i looked 2fa up on mac appstore.
the app is available for the entire apple ecosystem including the watches.
it's a 2 factor authenticator that syncronizes with icloud if you get the premium subscription, meaning that you'll never lose your accounts as long as you keep your apple id.
the app is mostly accessible with voice over, though the first buttons from the corners which are the settings and notifications aren't labeled.
you can try it right here.

Hello all,
Which authenticator apps for two factor verification are accessible to use? I am thinking of starting to use one of these rather than using SMS. I have been hearing more and more stories of people having their phone simms hijacked. Any suggestions on which one a person uses and why would also be helpful?

Thank you,
Greg Wocher

Hello.
I am writing a long book and am wondering if there is a way to actually write down certain characters because I have a whole lot of them. I am writing my book in pages but would nefed a certain app to be able to keep track of my characters. Not the main characters; just the others, like the teachers at school for example.
I do not have a computer.

I'm not much of a GPS app person as my city doesn't really require it, plus I'm not out and about nearly as much as once I was when I worked full time, and that's nine years gone now, but I thought I might give a simple application like Ariadne a try. Might be fun to know where I am when in a fast-moving vehicle such as the car that's going to take me to and from Easter dinner this coming Sunday. So OK, I plunked down my six bucks, opened the app, and tried to set some initial settings, including the "Where am I" button.

I'm having an issue with Dice World now that apple has done away with the ability to set up a twitter account linked to your iDevice. I've been told that the latest dice World update gives you the ability to authorize the app to access Twitter, but I've not found anything anywhere in either the app's settings or in my iPhone's settings that would allow me to authorize the app. An old saying is holding true once again and it's entirely too bad I can't aim this directly at apple, but, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

I know I've probably brought this up before, and a googled search stats that I'm not the only one who wants this.

On android I can hit a button on my launcher and sort apps within folders in ABC order. I have always wanted this in iOs and I can't believe there is no way to do this as of yet. I think but I'm not sure I did make this suggestion a while ago, but many people suggest rooting the device. I'm not going to be doing that. I did mean a JB but hopefully my question is clear enough.

Hello! Is it possible to use Auto correct in Iphone with voiceover? How shall I do? I have tested but I don't understand how it works.
Post Date:

Hello everyone I hope you are doing good. Finally Apple added all the reason and languages in India. But the problem is auto detect language it's not working.. for example if I want to read multi language text in images or documents the auto language detect option is not working. That time I open router and select another language everytime switching is problem. So my question is will expect auto detect language in iOS 18. Because this is highly recommended and highly needed feature for blind people who are using iPhones.

I’m using iPhone from more than two years, I reported this issue with the Apple Accessibility supporting regarding poor language support for Indian regional languages I informed them regarding this more than five times including providing the video recording for them. But still, there is no improvement in the auto along with switching VoiceOver for Indian regional languages. Only Hindi is fully supported, but not other languages.

I have an Iphone 14 pro with IOS16.1.1 installed. In Settings, If I select accessability>voiceover>audio>auto select speaker in call it should automatically route audio to the main speaker when I move the phone away from my ear during a phone call, and automatically route the audio to the earpiece when I hold the phone next to my ear, but this does not work - the sound continues to come from the earpiece. Is this a bug, or do I need to change another setting? I have settings>accessability>touch>call audio routing set to Automatic.

I have heard that there is a way to turn of the auto-detect lists in Pages. VoiceOver does not read the numbers when Pages automatically inserts a numbered lists, so I would like students to insert the numbers themselves. This can supposedly be changed in the "Pages Menu" under preferences but I have no idea where that is? Is this possible on on iPad?

To all Chinese keyboard users, does anyone know what the auto text rotor does when use with the Chinese keyboards?
All I know is that when you flick up and down in the auto text rotor, it will give you options for various different words in Chinese.
But I’m not sure what auto text is used for.
Chinese keyboards can be enabled through keyboard settings on iPhone and iPad, What I want to know is that is there any use for the auto text feature on Chinese keyboards with the voiceover rotor?
Thanks

So, I knowticed this a while back and have been just dealing with it but it'd be awesome if it's not a bug...just something I'm doing wrong.
When I'm texting someone and misspell a word autocorrect will suggest corrections and it'll say swipe up to cancel the suggestion. however, if I swipe up, nothing happens. So, my question is: how do I cancel correction that IOS suggests when inputting text?
Thanks,
Dan.

Hi all, I write a lot of text messages and I enjoy using the autocorrection feature since it tends to make typing a bit faster. The language of my phone is set to Danish, however, I regularly write messages in English and Spanish too. Or well, I try, but since my iPhone insists on trying to change all my Spanish words into completely different Danish words, it really isn't easy to write anything. I wonder if there is some way of dealing with this other than changing the phone language which I think is a bit drastic just to write a text.

Hi everyone, I was playing around with my Safari settings on my iPhone earlier and I noticed something I have not paid much attention too before, I cae accross the autofill and played around with using my camera to add my card details , but my question is this. How do I use this feature to fill in the details on a Safari web page and can this be done in Yosemite too? If so how? Many thanks in advance.

Post Date:

Hi. I have autofill turned on in the safari settings and I have logged into sites and when it asks me if I want to save the login I say yes. Then next time I want to go to a site, the password and username fields are empty. I have to type the login info again. Autofill is not working. Why?

I have a set of second generation AirPods. My primary IOS device is a 2020 iPhone SE and I also still have my iPhone 6s. Both are running IOS 14. It is my understanding that I should be able to get the AirPods to automatically switch between the two devices but I have not ben able to get this to work. On both phones, I went into the settings for my AirPods and turned on automatic audio switching but it just doesn't work. I know that Voice Over audio will not prompt the switch but playing media or using Siri should cause the AirPods to switch automatically, right?
