Apple Hardware and Compatible Accessories

hello,
I have an Iphone 6s and love the earpods. they have good sound and nice inline controls. the problem for me is however that I use them the whole day, put htem in and out of pockets and take them everywhere. This means that usually I use three to four pairs a year. I am looking therefore for a better alternative?
I have thought of nvesting in airpods but they can not change volume and skipmusic with buttons.
I do not like in-ear earphones either because they inhibit to much of the outside sound.
Any suggestions are highly aprisiated.

Hi!
I have an Ipad 4g and would like to connect it to my TV to show movies or photos or whatever.

I thought buying an Apple TV but as in my Ipad I can find the same apps as Netflix, I would only need to pair it with my TV by a cable or whatever.

Please advise me on what I need in order to connect vidio and audio

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I am a user of an iPhone 6SPlus, who will most likely update very soon to an 8Plus.
I was wondering if the camera improvements in the 7 and 8 had had any positive effects on OCR.
Also, will the double lense optical image stabilization improvement for the iphone x positively effect OCR? Of course, I realise that this will depend on developers trying to take advantage of these changes, but is it a possibility? I had dismissed the idea of bying the X, but might think of it if it has better OCR possibilities.

I have Windows installed on my Air and have copied a very large set of files to the Windows side for use with Word. In JAWS on a PC, I can use control-shift-home to go to the top of the list and control-shift-end to go to the bottom. However, the Air doesn't have the home and end keys. When I am running Jaws in Windows, is there a keystroke to emulate these commands on the Air?

I was wondering if anyone else has had experience with the following case:

https://www.amazon.com/Encased-Otterbox-Symmetry-Holster-Included/dp/B09HSZ62C9/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=Belt+Clip+Holster+for+Otterbox+Symmetry&qid=1687543826&sr=8-5

I am specifically wondering how easy it is to get on and off the phone.

I got Apple Vision Pro and wanted to learn and understand from VoiceOver/Braille users of apps, experiences and/or workflows that you use and recommend that are engaging/compelling? Thanks!

I wasn't quite sure where to put this, as it primarily has to do with apps and podcasting, though my question has more to do with software and equipment more than anything else. If it needs to be moved, I can repost it, though. Anyhow, to get to the gist of my topic, I'd like to do a podcast for AppleVis, but am unsure of how to get VoiceOver to come through clearly. I have no idea on how to record things like podcasts, or, for that matter, anything else on my computer.

Good day to all. Is there a command on the smart keyboard for the iPad pro that works as the escape key when voiceover is turned on? I realize it doesn't exist but thought I had heard of a work around. Thanks.

Hi all. My battery is dying in this six your old Mac. I don't know much about the referbished Mac, I had a bad experience with an old Dell, so i'm cautious. I do know the referbs don't have much storage, we're talking around 256gb. I also would like anyone trading their old computer, give me a ballpark estimate as to how much they wanted to give you. I really wasn't prepared for this, but at least this happened when the back to school sales are on. Thanks for any help.

Hi There! There are still a lot of iPhone 3 Gs out there, and especially their owners might be unhappy about the GPS accuracy. They can be helped with an external (Bluetooth) GPS receiver such as this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=GPS+iPhone&x=0&y=0 or: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=iPhone+GPS&x=0&y=0 However, I own a Holux M-1000 which I had purchased to use with a NOKIA phone.

Hi all.

I am using the RNIB Navigator app which is the equivelant to the Seeing eye GPS. I was wondering if anyone knew of an external GPS receiver which I could get for my phone as the GPS reception isn't the best where I am. Thanks for the help

Hi all,

I just recently bought an iPad 9th gen to replace my iPad Pro 10.5. I have been having keyboard issues on both with VoiceOver. This is with both the Apple Smart Keyboard and Logitech Slim Folio (I believe that's the name?).

It'll work as normal for a bit - I'll be able to type normally in, for example, Pages and Safari. But then it'll act like I have the Full Keyboard Access setting turned on (or off?). I believe I have toggled this setting.

Hi,
My office has decided to remove the desk phones and replace them with iPhones. This is challenging for me since I have to unlock the iPhone and access the phone to dial the phone numbers on a touch screen.

Do any of you know of an external numpad like the one on my desk phone that can connect to the iPhone and make calls?

Thank you for any help.
