I am about to take a solo trip to Italy in a little over three weeks.
I am a medium-low partial with mild hearing loss.
I am trying to decide whether getting Tile or Apple Air Tags to track my luggage and to use as personal bluetooth beacons in unfamiliar environments would be better for me. Which would you guys recommend and why?
I have heard that Tile has louder tags, but I am actually wondering which Tiles are currently the loudest. I am wondering the same about Air Tags. Are there ones that are louder than others?
So my Apple Watch Series 2 is showing age. It is very laggy and battery won't go for eight hours. Please do recommend me new watch. My priorities are the battery life, screen size, and future support with WatchOS. Is the SE Series good choice, or shall I go for the latest Series 8? Is the price difference between Series 8 and Series SE is justifiable? Will Series 7 work well for me?
Thanks
It's about time for me to consider getting a new computer. Been running a Del desktop for about 8 years and it's still actually running decently for it's age, but naturally it is a bit slow. Thinking of doing the laptop and docking station thing this time around. So... The big question -- should I get a Mac this time around?
Hi there. On Friday, I finally decided to take the plunge and get an IPhone 13. I won’t fault it, the 13 is a really great phone. But why, with the 12 and 13 being similar in design, is the 12 sound quality different to the 13? I understand they’re different thicknesses and all, but come on. Is there a way, other than changing mono and stereo sound levels, to make it sound like the 12? If you do have to change mono and stereo levels, what is the best configuration to use? Thanks for any help in advance.
Who owns the airpods pro? I have the originals but have been thinking about the pros for a while. When I bought the originals was an Amazon black Friday so now might be the time.
Only reason I'm really thinking of upgrading is the awareness feature. I walk quite a lot and use maps and soundscape, usually with one ear in. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the awareness feature is good enough that you could walk with both in and still be safe?
Thanks in advance.
Curretnly I've a Human BrailleNote as a Braille display on my iPhone, however because of portability especially, I'm wanting to get a Qwerty Bluetooth keyboard (Logictech 380 model); by portability I mean for instance, I'd need to carry my Apex, plus the cable&charger, whereas with a bluetooth keyboard, I'd need oly the keyboard itself, since it runs on AA bateries. Thus the question is is it worthwhile buying myself a qwerty Bluetooth keyboard when the BrailleNote Apex already works as kind of a Bluetooth Braille keyboard?
I currently have an iPhone8 which I bought in July of last year when my SE first gen started eating battery. Now they just came out with the SE2020. I was kind of holding off when I bought my iPhone8 for this phone but back then it was only roomered and I couldn't hold off do to the battery drain. I was thinking of paying off my phone as I'm still on a payment plan for it and buying the SE2020. I'm kind of on the fence about it though.
Hi all, so its IPhone upgrade time, I'm a voiceover user and can't decide between the IPhone 13 or 13 pro. (The mini is out due to lack of battery cases available for purchase) I don't care about the 120MHZ display refresh rate on the Pro as I have no sight what-so-ever. However, the two main differences I'm thinking about are the better camera setup on the Pro, and the extra 2gb of ram (6gb vs 4gb) that the Pro has over the regular IPhone 13.
This is something that has been happening for a bit now. My MacBook Pro with Touch Bar sometimes goes black when starting up the system. I'm running both Mac and windows with bootcamp. Any suggestions?
Since recent updates the trackpad is super sensitive. It has become frustrating to type or use keyboard shortcuts as I accedentaly brush or touch trackpad and my curser is moved elswher in my document or on a different part of the screen. How can I turn the trackpad off? I have looked at system pref. Would be super useful to have a shortcut to turn the trackpad on/off.
Is it possible to use the trackpad on the Magic Keyboard for iPad Air / Pro with VoiceOver in a similar way as on the Mac when trackpad commander is enabled? Are the standard VoiceOver gestures recognized on iPadOS?
Not sure how it is outside the US so you may want to call your provider. But those in the US, AT&T, Verizon and T Mobile are having a promo. You can trade in your Iphone 6 16GB and up for a new iPhone 7 32GB. You will need to sign a 24 or 30 month contract and pay for the tax. IF you prefer, you can pay a little more and get more storage or a Plus. So in my case, I am going from an iPhone 6 16GB to an iPhone 7 plus 128GB for less than 10 dollars a month for 24 months.
Hi Guys,
This might be better under the "iOS App Discussion" forum, but I'm posting it here for now and the Editorial Team is welcome to move it if they feel I have categorized incorrectly.
Before the BARD app launched I was using a Victor Reader Stream, and still occasionally do, though the iPad's battery life is just as good for me.
Hello all:
As a Hearing aid user, am using my airpods pro2 as a hearing aid in my live giggs, so i can listen to my laptop + hearing my band to play with.
my issue is that , the transparency mode is not working like it works with IOs,
on IOS, i uploaded my Audio gram, and customize my Transparency mode to work as i need, but when i connect my airpods pro2 to my macbook, the transparency mode works like noise cancelation,
i tried to find a way to use it, but i failed, so, i couldn't use my Airpods pro2 in my last concert,
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this question, but for the past 2 days I've been having trouble getting the app switcher on my iPhone 5s to come up when I tap my home button twice. Is there a different way to pull it up?
The phone did fall off of my pants pocket onto a cement parking lot as I was getting out of the car this past Saturday, but this problem didn't start until Sunday and there are no other problems so I don't think the fall caused any damage. It did pop the belt clip off but that was all.
I’ve been having a big problem with typing on my iPad lately. I’m using a Smart Keyboard. When I type I in the middle of a sentence, it somehow doesn’t register me pressing shift (maybe because I’m typing so fast) and I don’t know because VO doesn’t say it any differently. I submitted my work to a website like this and have had to carefully read through about a thousand words with the rotor and **still** probably missed some. Could someone give me advice on how to prevent this in the future?
A friend looking for used mac with Intel processor. I GOogled and found lots of sellers. So if anyone has experience with trusted sellers do post a link for their website.
Thanks for any help.
Hi.
I've written much here on buying wireless hard drives.
I got two to choose from. lacie fuel or wd my passport wireless.
I want the wd my passport, it has Everything I want. sd card reader, very much file sharing, easy to stream videos etc
It also has a built in Power bank.
the problem is that you can't charge the drive and use it at the same time.
It doesn't matter if I connect it to the wall or usb. same thing.
should I let the battery to decide for me?

I purchased the Logitech Keys-To-Go Keyboard yesterday for my iPad. I turned it on and paired it just fine. The problem is i want to pair it with my iPhone, and the instructions say to press and hold the bluetooth connection key for 2 seconds, to put the keyboard in pairing mode. Does anyone have this keyboard? If so, where is the bluetooth key? The instructions were not much help.
