I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this question, but for the past 2 days I've been having trouble getting the app switcher on my iPhone 5s to come up when I tap my home button twice. Is there a different way to pull it up?
The phone did fall off of my pants pocket onto a cement parking lot as I was getting out of the car this past Saturday, but this problem didn't start until Sunday and there are no other problems so I don't think the fall caused any damage. It did pop the belt clip off but that was all.
I’ve been having a big problem with typing on my iPad lately. I’m using a Smart Keyboard. When I type I in the middle of a sentence, it somehow doesn’t register me pressing shift (maybe because I’m typing so fast) and I don’t know because VO doesn’t say it any differently. I submitted my work to a website like this and have had to carefully read through about a thousand words with the rotor and **still** probably missed some. Could someone give me advice on how to prevent this in the future?
A friend looking for used mac with Intel processor. I GOogled and found lots of sellers. So if anyone has experience with trusted sellers do post a link for their website.
Thanks for any help.
Hi.
I've written much here on buying wireless hard drives.
I got two to choose from. lacie fuel or wd my passport wireless.
I want the wd my passport, it has Everything I want. sd card reader, very much file sharing, easy to stream videos etc
It also has a built in Power bank.
the problem is that you can't charge the drive and use it at the same time.
It doesn't matter if I connect it to the wall or usb. same thing.
should I let the battery to decide for me?

I purchased the Logitech Keys-To-Go Keyboard yesterday for my iPad. I turned it on and paired it just fine. The problem is i want to pair it with my iPhone, and the instructions say to press and hold the bluetooth connection key for 2 seconds, to put the keyboard in pairing mode. Does anyone have this keyboard? If so, where is the bluetooth key? The instructions were not much help.
Hello,
Does anyone know when the inexpensive Vivitar bluetooth headphones are on?
We just bought a pair of vivitar bluetooth headphones and since I am totally blind I can't see the flashing light.
And can you hear Vo through them?
I've heard this come up a lot. I have an iPad 2 and I usually use it in landscape node. When typing with the on screen keyboard or using Fleksy, the size is just perfect that I can almost trick my fingers into positioning themselves as if they were working on a hardware keyboard. I have small hands, so this works well for me and is a great feeling.
I've heard this is not the case with the mini? Do people use theirs in landscape mode to type? Do you find the screen too small in this case?
Has anyone had luck on changing your airtag batteries? They say you are suppose to hold down the back and twist counter clockwise. I've tried this with 2 thumbs as well as a rubber jar opener as suggested by apple support with no luck. I don't understand why apple did not make their battery backs with a coin slot, I guess that would have been too simple. I could probably have one drilled but not sure if that will mess things up.
I'm having a weird issue while trying to pare a bluetooth keybord with my IPad air2 running 15.3. Whenever I press the pare button on the keybord I get the paring message asking me to enter the code and then not a half of a second later I get the paring unsuccessful message. How can I enter the code when it won't even give me a chance? lol. I tried turning off the keybord and turning it back on, toggling off and on bluetooth, restarted the IPad and still same message, it's like the paring code and the pare unsuccessful messages are both coming up at the same time.
Hello all. I am new to the applevis website, but have been browsing and gaining a lot of knowledge from this site for a number of years. I recently came across a strange issue while using my iPhone 5C and my apple bluetooth keyboard. I am unable to type in any edit field, whether in safari, an iMessage or text message. I can use the onscreen keyboard just fine, but my bluetooth keyboard does nothing. I can use all other navigation commands with no trouble, however. I have reset the phone a number of times, replaced the batteries in the keyboard, all to no avail.
I'm new in this, and I have read there's a tweak called Unauthorized Lightning Cable Enabler which does exactly that with the uncertified lightning cables but I have been searching for it on Cydia without luck.
Does anybody know if it has been removed or has something similar that can help mewith this issue?
Hello folks,
From what I was able to gather AT&T is selling unlocked the unlocked iPhone 5. If this is true I do intend to purchase one as soon as I can. I plan on using it with an independent carrier called Straight Talk which is running on the GSM network. If it proves to not be the network I prefer will I be able to use the iPhone on a CDMA network such as Virgin Mobile or do I have to pick with a platform and stick with it?
Thanks,
Louis
Hi all,
I'm a musician and currently use a 2019 iMac running the latest version of Mac OS and Logic Pro.
Lately, my machine has been running very slowly, and I think it's time for an upgrade!
Here's my problem. I'm not too sure which computer I wana get. I've been looking at the macbook Pros, and I think I'd like to go with one of those.
I'm thinking at least 32GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. I'm just not sure if I should get the m3 Pro or Max chip.
I finally took the plunge and decided, after 4 years, to upgrade from my iPhone 6s. About a year ago, I started having significant battery problems with the 6s. I thought about upgrading then but I still really liked the 6s and I couldn't see spending at least $500 just for better battery life. So, I spent $50 and replaced the battery, so that I could hang on to it a little longer. Then, IOS 14 came around. The sluggishness bug introduced in 14.0 was eliminated in 14.1 but, even then, I found the phone to be a little more sluggish than it had ben under IOS 13.
Hi:
I have the IPhone 6 and I am due for an upgrade. I am wondering if I should get the IPhone 7 or wait until next year when the IPhone 8 is released? Any thoughts or opinions would be helpful. Thanks.
Nancy
My wife has a MacBook (13-inch, Mid 2010) 2.4 GHz and I want to upgrade it for her got vhtidymsd.
The first question i have is that i’ve noticed from some research that as of OS X 10.7.5 with the latest firmware update, this unit can support up to 16GB of ram (2X 8GB sticks). Has anyone tested and verified that this is fact?
Secondly, Is it possible to install a solid state drive into this unit? If so, do you have any specifications for SSD drives i should seek out?
She has no problem installing hardware, i just need to know what hardware will work for this unit.
Hey all
What will I get if I buy the latest iPad Pro 11? I currently own the Pro 2016. I use my iPad for reading, basic writing and editting, media watching. So it is not something really advanced. My iPad Pro 2016 uses 4.2 Bluetooth chip while the Pro 11 2020 uses 5.0, will my braille display benefit from this as I feel there is a lag when I navigate text? Will the slight lag I experience with my bluetooth headphones improve with the 5.0 chip on the Pro 11?
Thanks a lot for any help
