Hi all!
I am considering upgrading to a new iPad because I am unable to install the latest update on my iPad mini. I also need it to be capable of running the Alex voice like my iPhone 5s, and I want something that will be able to handle the next several IOS updates. I have no useable vision, so I will need it to pair with a bluetooth keyboard and my Focus 40 blue braille display. Any suggestions on the best way to go?

So I'm currently on an iPhone Xr. I'm due for an upgrade. What will I be getting when I go to a 12 or 13? I know I can expect a better camera and processor but are there any other features of the phones that would make accessibility any better? Has there been anything that takes advantage of the lidar sensor yet?

I have been using an iPhone 6 since 2015, and I think it's time for an upgrade. I'm not concerned about the lack of a headphone port on any iPhone I'm likely to buy, since I have some good headsets.

A friend tells me that the iPhone 7 or 8 are likely to be dated next year, but I know these have the home button that gives haptic feedback. But if these date, I'd probably want something newer.

I'd like decent memory, probably between 128 and 512 GB, and 3-d touch is optional.

Hello friends!
I am about to upgrade from iPhone 5 to 6. But i can't decide if i buy the 16 gigabyte storage or the 64. I herd that alex doesn't work on phones with 16 gigabyte storage, is this true?
If you have any tips or advice i'd be very glad to hear them.
Thanks

Hello all. I know that the opinions will vary on the subject, especially from people who already purchased either iPhone 6 or iPhone 6+. However, there are many of us who still wonder if the upgrade is worth the money. Before opening this topic for more comments, I wanted to list out specific questions for those who already own the new device(s).

I have an iPhone 8, I've noticed since IOS13.1 and now 13.1.1 sometimes when I plug in my charger it gives me the USB device restriction, It instructs me to unlock the phone which I do but nothing happens. I unplug and replug my charger but nothing. To get my charger to work I have to turn my phone off and back on again and it will work just fine. This has happened twice to me. I'm thinking this may be a bug since it's an intermittent problem but not for sure. Anyone else having this issue?

I am looking to purchase a audio mixing board to use with my MacBook, It is all concussing when looking around for one. Could anyone recommend any that are not difficult to use and can take 3,4 device inputs?

Hi all
This is slightly complicated so please bear with me.
I wear two cochlear implants which I connect to my phone. With my new iphone 15 I need now to purchase a usb c to 3.5 mm adapter.
Unfortunately it seems as if many of these adapters will not allow you to use the microphone on the iphone and mutes it. For example, if I want to send a voice message on WhatsApp I must remove the audio adapter. I am also unable to make calls on the phone because the microphone is muted.
I want to make sure if a buy an adapter that it will fulfil my needs.

Hi there,

I might be considering upgrading to a 2017 macbook. As you know they have only one USB type C port. I only have a couple of external hdds and a phone, so I would replace their cables with USB C ones. But the problem is I can plug only thing in at a time. All hubs I see are USB C to USB A ports, or even HDMI, DVI, ETC. I'm looking for an USB C hub with USB C ports and passthrough support. How come there is a one port Mac with no hubs to expand that same port? Isn't USB C the future?

I have a new IPhone 16. Whenever I try to connect it to my pc running windows11 I get a USB error that it doesn't have enough power for your device or something like that. I've tried different ports as well as tried another cable. I also tried to reboot both my IPhone and my pc. When I first plugged in the phone to restore from a backup it worked fine but now I'm getting this doesn't have enough power error. Anyone know what is going on?
Thanks

Hello!
I just installed an SSD in my MacBook Pro mid 2012 15 inch laptop. Now I have the old drive, and am looking to put it into a USB enclosure. Does anyone have recommendations on what to get?

Thanks much.

Hi.
Finally my acer hard drive gave up.
So I need to get a new one.
I've got Three options. lacie fuel, the seagate and western digital drive.
both can be run on usb or wireless.
I know thatThe question is now can I run the drive just on usb?
I can charge the drives by putting the Power adapter in the wall, but can I charge it using the computers usb Power.
it's hard to decide wich hard drive to get now.
but I must choose.

Hi, all. My trusty Keyspan adapter is no longer supported. It's kind of complicated, because I have a patched version of Catalina on my late 2009 Mac Mini, which was a gift. I'm pretty sure it's USB 2.0, but would have to double-check. Anyway, for the drivers, I get an error message after installing that says the developers need to update the app to work with Catalina. You're going to laugh, but I still have a nicely-working steam-powered Braille Lite that I wouldn't mind transferring files to and from once in awhile.

Hi guys.
Now that I have an iPhone 15 pro, and as I prefer wired EarPods or headphones because the quality of their microphones are better than the one from my wireless earbuds, I need a converter to use my apple 3.5 jack apple EarPods as they are the one with the best microphone quality with iPhone.
I bought a converter 2 years ago for my iPad Air 4, but I think that the quality is not that good and also the remote controls of the EarPods doesn’t work with this converter, because I’m only able to play and pause.

I hope this is the right place, if not well someone will fix it. :) I have a bose sound dock two which I enjoy. except we bought it when Apple hadn't changed their conectors yet. Everything i've read on reviews of botht he Apple branded one and the knock off, say that audio isn't transmitted from theconnector. I think it said something about audio not having an augzillery port? Oh my god, urdered that one, sorry, hope someone fixes that. Anyway if i buy the adapter, can i use the phone with the dock as though it were still on the connector?

I am looking into which direction to go with my next PC. Whatever I end up with, I want a fully functional HTPC to integrate into my home theater system. I have a few questions for users of Macs that might help me make up my mind.

Hi folks.
Subject says it all.
From what I've read, this should work as long as you use it with the camra kit plugged in to power.
This would be using and iPhone 5S.
I'd hope to use the file browser app, and be able to see the files on the USB hard drive.
