Hello all,
Does anyone know if the credit karma app or even credit karmas website is accessible? I need to get a look at my credit report. I was trying to create my social security website account and noticed that the questions they were asking me to verify my identity did not really have anything to do with me. This has got me a bit concerned about my credit report.
Looking for a to do list app that is accessible on MAC and PC and preferably allows me to categorize by importance (high, normal, low) or priority level (0, 1, 2) or something along those lines. Does something like this exist? Thanks for the advice!
I am the developer of the iOS app CrossGuide, which is designed to help blind and visually impaired people find accessible pedestrian signals (APS).
The app allows you to:
- Search our community-driven database for APS locations in your area, making it easier to identify which intersections are equipped with accessible signals.
- Directly start the navigation to a found APS location with Apple Maps.
- Add new APS locations as you come across them, so that we can continue building a useful and up-to-date database of accessible crossings.
Hey, I am just curious? What I need to sign into the same ID or can I create one separately if I was to get an iPhone for Christmas? My mom says she wants to get me one.
Hi. I was wondering if anyone else had tried out the Estee Lauder Voice-Enabled Makeup Assistant, and if so, how their experience was.
When I first heard about this concept, I was super excited to try it out. I first tried out the app a few days ago, using foundation and eye shadow.
Iām not sure if this is in the correct category, I apologize if itās not, but I was just curious on other peoples experiences with the envision assistant beta, if you are apart of the beta, yesterday I got accepted to be apart of the envision assistant beta, and after getting to play around with the envision assistant beta I found myself impressed with how Acura the description of the pictures were. I had some in accurate picture descriptions, but nothing to off. I found it super cool how I was able to ask it follow up questions with using my voice.
Hi,
I'm curious what iOS apps people are using to read text-based RSS feeds these days? I admittedly haven't used RSS feeds as a source of content in a long while, but am thinking that's something I might want to revisit. Anyway, if you have a favorite RSS reader, I'd love to give it a try.
Hi all!
I'm sorry if this question has been raised, but I'd be glad to know if it's possible to move the timeline slider in Music and Youtube apps more smoothly then VO does in the standard āadjust valueā mode, as 10% strokes can sometimes be a bit wild for huge audio and video files.
Regards, Felix
Hi all, I've been toying with jumping into the Sonos ecosystem, however after all the problems with the app being broken for Voiceover support I have been holding off.
What is the current state of accessibility? Is it okay for me to invest in a Sonos product right now, or should I either hold off longer, or just not bother at all.
What is the current accessibility status of I Heart Radio? I have tried to set up an account on it and found the process difficult at best. There were some discussions of this in 2010, which seem to indicate that it worked but was difficult to use. Are there alternative apps that cover a similar number of stations but are more accessible? I would pay for a more accessible app if it were current and competitive.
Here is an example:
Mostly sunny currently. The high will be -5°. Clear tonight with a low of -11°.
The current temperature has been missing since iOS 8. This is random. Sometimes it shows the current temperature but mostly it doesn't. I need to open the weather app to find out what the current temperature is. Then I have to close it again.
I updated to the latest version of Oko yesterday, and then opened the app to check its new features. When I did this, I was surprised to read that due to business reasons, Oko was no longer available in my region. I contacted the Oko team to find out why this was going on; perhaps it was a bug of some kind? When I checked my Email this morning, I received some shocking news from the team they had investigated the issue with the enginering team, and since switching to their subscription model a month ago, they had decided to mae Oko unavailable across Canada.
When I try typing in to edit fields using my iPhone 8 running IOS 13.3.1 the focus keeps moving, particuarly frustrating when trying to fill in passwords. So as I type I get voiceover msgs sayng insertion point has moved or the insertion point has changed.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on and how I can fix this?
This has been happening across several versions of IOS 13 and not just the latest iteration of the software.
Frequently when inputting text in a text field Voiceover will say "new line" and the cursor moves from the end of the line to the left side of the last character typed. I have not gone anywhere near the return key when it happens. I'm using the onscreen keyboard and iPad Pro, latest IOS. Can anyone think of what I'm doing to cause this? I often do reboots (home plus power buttons) for various other odd behaviors but it has not helped with this one. Thank you.
A low-vision friend complained that, after she upgraded to iOS 18, she discovered the text cursor is now light blue and almost impossible to see. Are there any low vision users here that can provide some settings that might make the text cursor easier to see? Thanks.
Is it possible to have a custom equalizer while listening to Apple music?
Or should I just use Spotify for that? Spotify has a custom equalizer built in.
Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help me. Basically I'm wondering if the custom gestures feature in ios five point one point one is compatible with VoiceOver and zoom. Many thanks, :)
