Hi, it is like that, since iOS 18 the volume rottor control does nothing with my voiceover, so I don't get how it works now with that thing of the other sounds of iOS.
If it could be explained with apples and pears (Spanish phrase to ask to explain it on the easiest way) would be appreciated.

Hi folks,
Earlier, I was teaching someone to use an iPhone. I don't usually have VO hints turned on, but seeing as he was totally new to iOS I thought they might be helpful. I noticed that when we used the numeric keypad within the phone app, aplicable letters were announced by VO after each number. For example, VO would say "5, JKL" or "7, PQRS".
Here's the question: does anyone know why VO speaks these hints? I can't think of a situation in iOS where you are required to enter text in this fashion.

Does anyone have a good app days and maybe hours before something occurs. I have one event that I wanna count down until and it would be really neat if I find an app that has a widget which I can put on my lock screen displaying the days and hours until the event. I'd be so grateful for any suggestions

I really didn't want to write this post, but something has been bugging me for quite a while.
It seems that every time a new app is announced, or added to the app directory, that costs ANY amount of money, the first thing people do is ask for coupon codes. The app could cost one dollar, but that's still too much...

Yesterday I was synicing some albums and two things I've noticed one it takes forever to sync when it didn't really seem the items I wanted and two when you do try to sync all of your cover albums disappear. I don't know if anyone else has this problem

Hi,
ever since I updated my ipad to ios 8.3, things have been either crashing or freezing repeatedly. My pandora app will freeze on the stations list and my tellmewhen app will crash when trying to search for an author. Also, vo will crash repeatedly when encountering certain items. I was trying to skype and typed /showmembers and when I tried to read the sys message, it kept crashing vo. Has anyone noticed this and is there anything I can do?

Hello world! since the last whatsapp update, they have seriously damaged the use with VoiceOver. entering that pttplay button to be pressed to play the voice message is nonsense. in addition, the cursor jumps from one message to another in a conversation. is it the same with you? are we hoping something will work out? I reported to them and I hope they will heed my complaint.

I know how to create ringtones for iPhone. I even know that they're recognized even when setting up an SMS tone, but some IM applications do not allow setting ringtones as the message tones. Is there a way to create specifically a text tone?

I have been having trouble pressing the side button two times when I want to turn voice over on/off. For that reason I've tried to create a custom gesture in accessibility/voice over/commands/all commands/shortcuts/turn voiceover on_off
I pressed "add gesture" and selected "press three times on the back of your iphone".

What is the easiest and most accesible way of creating a contact group for an iOS device? Resources I found on the web seem to indicate that this can't be done directly from my iPhone but rather that I have to get onto iCloud on the web. then the instructions talk about dragging and dropping contacts into the group, but that isn't always easy with a screen reader. So I'm wondering if people have any better recommendations or if Apple now has a way of doing this more directly from my phone.

I always like to create a custom voicemail greeting on my phones and recently purchased an iPhone 12 Mini. Whenever I try to record my greeting and push the record button, VoiceOver says stop and it ends up in my message. I've tried performing the three-finger double tap to mute speech but it still happens. Does anyone have any advice? I can just go with the default greeting. But I would like to personalize it. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I know how to create a folder when moving more than two aps which create a folder. But how do you create a folder without using the apps such as you can do on a windows computer?

Hi, is this possible to do if so how? Example when the battery goes below 20% I would want it to speak battery 19 battery 18 if a bluetooth headset is connected for example.

I have tried to create a Mastodon account on my iPhone. I have followed the guidelines to create a username, but have received indications that it does not need the format requirements. Also, when I enter a password, I receive a message that password must be at least six characters. Even if I choose strong password, I still receive the message that it must have six characters. Does anyone have suggestions on the appropriate format to create a username? I am using the app sign followed by my name followed by @mastodon.social. Thanks.

I know how to create a PDF from an email without using voiceover. going to print email, and using the two finger spread gesture to create a PDF that you are then able to save to iCloud files etc. With voiceover, I am having a hard time duplicating the two finger spread gesture, any suggestions? Is it even possible to do the two finger spread gesture while using voiceover?

I’m on my dad‘s Apple ID now, and all of his contacts and information are synced to my phone. If I create my new Apple ID right away, What’s going to happen to his contacts that are on my phone?
