Hey. I would like to rant about the Facebook app. First of all, when new updates come out, it doesn't tell you what's new. It just says, "Thanks for using Facebook," and other stuff. We have to learn about what's new in the app. Also, there is new bugs in the app. Still, I can't switch cameras before starting a livestream. It is stuck on rear camera active. If you have any comments, comment down below. There is a blind engineer working at Facebook. Come on!!!!!!!! Fix the app.

Besides vo saying product after each post which we all know about I am having an issue where I'll be scrolling through my newsfeed and all of the sudden I will be back at the top of my newsfeed again. Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?

Hi. I was browsing the facebook appfor a while. The native facebook app is somewhat accessible. The only problem I think everyone is agreeing on is that the friends part of the app is not accessible. When you flick or swipe left or right after double tapping on the friends icon in the launcher, voiceOver doesn't speak any of your friend's names. It makes the click sounds but nothing speaks. This can be a problem when you have over 200+ friends. I contacted the facebook help team but they didn't resolve the issue. I don't know what to do.

V309 of FB has just come out in the UK for me and it fixes the back button. Works perfect again.

I'm running the latest version of the Fb. act. My question is how to find the birthdays. I'm looking in my events & don't see them on my calendar. How can I see my birthdays?

I have a question about Facebook birthdays. I went to find them in the events section, & I cannot find them. I've looked everywhere I could think to look, & still can't find them. I don't remember if this issue has already been discussed here, but I am noticing that visually impaired people in my Facebook contacts, are missing information I publish from my personal web site, on my profile and Facebook page, because my posts are intercepted as blank lines not even clickable.
This happens when posts are external link pointing to my WordPress site.
Do you please have any suggestion for a work-around for this issue?

Has anybody noticed Facebook has dictation issues when composing comments where it duplicates your phrases and puts them randomly places causing your comment to be very messy and your friends to have a wow reaction? I know I have. It’s quite annoying and I would like to learn how to become a beta tester so I can bring this to Facebook attention

Having trouble with check in feature on FB app. It brings up all the places fine but I am unable to add friends I am with?? It basically acts as though I have no friends listed... Is there a setting preventing this?? I searched through the settings and nothing. My wife has the same phone and no prob!!

Hi everyone. I've noticed recently that my 32gb iPhone4 I can open the facebook app once, to check things like notifications, of which I have to look because they don't get pushed into the notification center. But if I hear, Facebook, two new items, I click it and it takes a few minutes, then it does the sound like the app is closed, and that's it. I don't know if this happens on anyone else's devices. And if I click the app switcher, it's sitting in there.

For a long time now when dictating iPhone on Facebook, and it only seems to happen on Facebook, when you finish dictating Facebook seems to insert an attachment. I've never worked out what the attachment is. If you don't remember to delete it, when you read back the message full message Facebook puts a number at the end which I assume is the number of attachments it has added. Does anybody know what these attachments are, or how to avoid them?

Any iPad users having trouble with facebook for iPad? Basically i cant write statuses or wall posts. Everytime i double tap on the button, itvjus makes this sound an doesnt bring up the keyboard. Have tried installing the app again and it lets me write axstatus, but if i cancell my status, then i cant write another one :(
Does anyone else have this problem? Or does anyone have a solution?

Hi all,
I have, ever since the latest facebook upgrade, been unable to edit or modify my friends lists. Previously, I was able to click on a friend's profile, click the friends button, and select the lists I wished for them to be a member of.
Now, however, when I attempt to do the same thing, I click on the friends list and all I get is the option to unfriend them. Is there a way I might be able to rectify this either through facebook or through another facebook client?

I have a bit of a rather annoying issue I hope you guys can help me figure out. I'm running the latest version of Facebook on my ipad mini 4, which has the latest version of ios. The problem I'm having is that anytime I go to someone's page to try & send them a friend request on Facebook, I can't see the button to do so! The only way I can even send requests, is if I have a sighted person do it for me. Is there a way that I can send friend requests independently again? Thanks in advance for any help!

I use the Facebook app to read through my newsfeed. Recently, some of the posts from a couple of my friends are showing up as blank entries when I swipe to them. Also, I can't access the action rotor on these entries. If I flick up or down, I just hear the bong sound.
I believe this might have started with iOS 14.5, but it might have been happening before that. I've now upgraded to iOS 14.6 and it's still happening. I'm using the latest version of the Facebook app on my iPhone 8.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

Hello to all, I have noticed, after updating the Facebook app to v100.0 on my iPhone that when creating a new post or trying to share a post, the process has changed. Before, when creating or sharing, everything would be on one page. You could tag a location, tag friends, add photos and videos, change the audience for your post. But since the recent update, now when you creat or share a post, all is the same except for selecting the audience. Now instead of having the "Post" button at the top right, you have a "Next" bgutton.

I recently downloaded the Facebook app from the App Store and finding my way around. As a Facebook newbie, can someone tell me how to play videos that are sent to me? I like to listen to them, even though I cannot see them. Also, when I interact with a post and get to the next page where voiceover says "Choose an action," I can use the like, share, and comment buttons. When I press the more button, I can hear the sound of the screen changing, but VO is silent. Running and tapping my finger all over the screen does nothing but beep and click. What am I doing wrong?

Does anyone here experience this issue?
When I sometimes swipe through my FaceBook posts without opening any of them, VoiceOver suddenly says: "Screen kertain off. Screen Kertain on." When I swipe continiously right, I find myself at the beginning of the page and can not go further. Closeing down FaceBook in the App Switcher does not sort the issue.
