I just updated my iPod touch to IOS 11.2.5 and now i find that I can not use Voice Over to read by character in the To box when composing an email message. I set the rotor to Characters and when I am in the To edit field, I get the bump noises when I swipe up or down. Am I alone with this problem?

I have made a list in my contacts that I want to send emails to every day with an attachment. I first go to the file, then select share and then mail. I've found it easier to type in my subject first. Then I go to the /from/cc/bcc button and double tap. I change the from field, as it wants to use the wrong address. Then, I go to BCC and type the list name. Sometimes it finds it, sometimes it just sits there. How can I ensure it will always recognize the list name? Also, is there an easier way to do this. I have the iPhone SE 2022.

Hello, how is everybody today? I am not sure if this is an iPhone 5 problem or not and if it isn't, then please let me know. I have my Gmail running through my phone and I have noticed that a lot of messages, especially certain ones on the listserv I am subscribed to, are not showing up in my inbox. Also some emails from our research panel I am part of our not showing up. They used to but now they don't. Yesterday I went into my junk folder and found that all these messages that I haven't been getting in my inbox are going straight to junk.

Hi all,
just discovered that I can no longer find the 'Emergency Call' button on my iPhone's lock screen in iOS 7... I've never actually used it before, but when I just read about a security flaw in that feature I wanted to test it out and found that button to be absent, I can't find it anymore when dragging my finger across the screen or flicking. Is it just me, or is anyone else having the same issue?

Yesterday, I downloaded the NBC Live Extra App. This is the app through which NBC will be sttreaming the entire 2012 London Olympics. From what I can tell, this will be the only app with which people can watch live coverage on their i-devices. There is one critical problem with this app, it is completely inaccessible with VoiceOver. The only thing that shows up is a link to an ad of some kind. Through some random tapping, I managed to get a highlights video playing, and even the player was inaccessible.

Hi all. When I send my boyfriend a text, he doesn't have Imessage, I usually would get the normal emoji. the ;) the :) etc. For some reason, when I click emoji, and it's on the currently used category or whatever it says, it sends him stickers. Which, when you read back, the emoji stickers have this weird number. something like 265030 unicorn face blowing a kiss attachment. So how can I get the normal ones back? Maybe I hit something but, it's sort of odd.

I have updated to IOS 9. I do have a question, when using the emoji keyboard how do I change pages with this latest version of IOS software? Swiping with three fingers to the left/ right or any other gesture does not seem to work. Emojis are something that I use a lot so it is rather annoying that it is stuck on the first page of each category. Can anyone help please?

I'm on a bit of a rant so please, don't ell me you might not have this frustration. Moving on. I just spent at least five minutes trying to selecting the woman face palming emoji. I know the frequently used changed based on what you use. but between almost inserting ones I didn't want, and having a problem navigating the pages, here's my solution. I find the pickers to adjust easier. yes, there are so many this may not be an option. maybe a radio button for category like now but then sub radio buttons for say hand gestures or occupations or whatever.

Hi all. This mainly applies to IOS, but asking for both platforms. Anyway I just went and did this emoji: the hhand making the sign of the horns. I had to flick past the "Send", to find the options. As it was, I forgot the keystorke on the Mac, to accomplish the same task. Anyway I'm asking two questions:

I had been using the beta release on IOS 13. When in a message and flicking to Emojis I could turn the roter until I hear it say Emoji Replacements Available.
Now I'm on the beta of IOS 13.1 which came out on Friday 20 I do not have this option on the roter anymore.
Has anybody else found this bug?
Otherwise I have found IOS 13.1 is working very well with voice-over.

I love the ability to search for emojis, it’s definitely gunna have me using them more often than I used to. But I can’t seem to find it on my iPad, only my iPhone. Is VO just not focusing on it or is it not available?

Hi all! I may be in the minority here but I am really sick of emojis all the time. I get an email and it says smiling face, licking lips and more. then there is this other thing that sounds like graphing joiner which repeats over and over. I talked to apple accessibility and they recommended turning off images and supposedly this will make it stop. It did to a point but I'm still getting them. These emojis are everywhere and if somebody has any ideas on how to filter them out I'd appreciate it.

so this has been going on since i've used facebook messenger but just thought though about it. when i send my girlfriend a heart it makes a noise how come when she sends me one it doesn't make a noise? does anyone know?is it cause we're using voice over is there a setting I need to change? This is more a curiosity than a real problem. so sorry if I'm breaking a rule or something.

When in a text input field, if emojis are present, navigating by character using voiceover will cause voiceover to stop speaking when it encounters one of the emojis. It can sometimes take speech about 30 seconds to return, or you can navigate away from that app and come back to it again. This doesn’t happen when navigating by word or line. In those cases, the emojis are announced as expected.

Is anyone else having this issue? When adding a device on the find my app it says emoji search hidden and I can't add the device without an emoji. I tried readding the emoji keyboard with no luck. The emojis work everywhere else. I have an IPhone 16 running 18.1.

I have an iPad Pro 11-inch, 3rd generation running the latest developer beta of iPadOS 17.
I'm using the latest version of the Facebook app & would like to enable dark mode.
The problem?
I'm not seeing "dark mode" as an option anywhere in the Facebook app on my iPad.
It's helarious, because earlier today, I found directions on how to enable it on the iPhone app & that worked.
Those same directions also stated that they'd work on the iPad, but no such option exists.
Can anyone please assist?
