is there a way to make the primary voice someone else besides Samantha? I have an SE 2022 phone running 18.2. Usually, the voice I have chosen stays put. But sometimes, when I go into an app, such as peekaboo or even this website, recently, it switches to Samantha. I don’t really mind her, but I like tom a lot better.

Does anyone use the SiriusXM app. If so, are you having a problem with the "go live" button? I can flick past and/or to the button on my iPod, but when I double tap, nothing happens. I can only skip forward so far, and it won't let me skip enough to get to the live portion of the program. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue? For the record, I have the latest version. The update I installed just now said it was from 3 days ago.

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to go to a particular date in the Outlook calendar? Other than by going through the timeslot events picker one swipe at a time which for me is moving it by day. Is it possible to navigate to a specific date which may be several months ahead?

Hello - I am wondering if there is a gesture that will take me to my last email in the ios mail app. I've googled and have not found anything.

Thank you.

Is anyone into setting and tracking goals? If so, have you found an app that is accessible for doing this? Either for iPhone or Mac or even on the web at a push.

Any suggestions welcome. I've tried a load, but with little or no look.

cheers.

Just wondering how accessible, if at all, the GoFundMe app is.

I didn’t find any reviews here on AppleVis.

Hello again!
Well, after a day of playing with my new iPhone 7 plus, I decided to go back to my SE for its size and headphone jack, and also because I don't feel too big a difference between the 7 plus and the SE in terms of user experience. That is not to say I don't welcome new technology, but the main reason for my going back is that this doesn't fit my uses.

Hi,
No matter what I do, I can't get back to the beginning of the book in kindle. I fell asleep with continuous reading on, and even if I click on the chapter in the contents, it doesn't go back. Why not? And is there a way to restart the book?

Door Detection in iOS 16 is one of the most interesting accessibility features I've seen in a while. I have low vision and I've found that Door Detection, even in its current form is pretty impressive to help with independently finding doors.

It's also a glimpse at how mixed reality headsets - like that which Apple are rumoured to be working on - might work in a real-world context for visually impaired people, putting accessibility as one of their main selling points. Also, as a tech enthusiast it's great to see the LIDAR sensor being put to additional use.

Hi all. In a few short days, I'll be leaving on my first ever cruise to the bahamas. I have a few questions. I'll write them on different lines in case anyone wants to paste answers below them.

1. wifi availability is crazy expensive for my iPhone, so my plan is to just put the phone in "airplane mode," will that stop all roaming and everything? I think so, I just want to be sure since I didn't buy a cruise package from my cellular provider. Not worht it for a three night cruise.

Good Saturday afternoon to everyone. I am using thenative e-mail program that comes with IOS 10.2.1. This isn't really a big deal, but how do you ensure that when you open the e-mail program, that you go directly to your in-box and not to the trash folder? I will say that it does work correctly at times, but I find that most of the time, when opening the e-mail program, I end up in the trash folder. Is there any way to make sure that I always end up in the in-box when I launch the native e-mail program? Thanks in advance for your help, and have a good day and a good weekend.

Hello all, I have a question about the kindle app. I have downloaded a book that I needed for school on my iPhone, and cannot figure out how to go to a certain page. How do I go to a specific page within a book, such as page 98? I looked in the menu, and cannot see a go to page function. I see a go to location, but no go to page function. Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all.
So I'll be in the Netherlands and Denmark for part of the fall. I have an iPhone 6S which is not locked. Does anyone know of a carrior that works in both countries and if I could get a one off plan from them? I'd need to have them mail me the NanoSim, of course, which is fine, but I'd rather not be off the cellular grid while I'm there if I can help it.

Thanks for any help!
Scott

Hi all:
I found that this old friend of many windows users is in beta stages for iOS, and seems to be accessible enough.
You can download the beta -requires test flight-, from this link:

I have another question for you guys. And it’s along the same lines my recommendation question for dictionary apps. Except this time, I’m looking for good and accessible calculator apps.

Hi everyone, so I was just wondering, does anyone know of any Internet radio apps that let you listen to stations but will also show you schedules for each station that you listen to if there is on air DJs iHeart and TuneIn let you do it some but it’s very hit or miss on when it’ll show you and when it won’t show you even if there is a live DJ on sometimes it doesn’t tell you so I guess I’m just trying to figure out if a program like this exist where you can listen to a station but then also see what’s on that station preferably within the same app or if you have to open up a website that’s
