am searching for a way to get RSS feed notifications as soon as a new event happened inside this feed.
I tried Lire, but there is no notification inside.
also tried the Net news wire, it says notify about new articles that have been added.
but nothing happened.
Is there away that i can get instant notifications on my Iphone and Mac also?

Hello everyone, forgive me if this is a rather obvious question… But I seem to remember reading somewhere that if you purchase an app and it's not accessible… Or it doesn't work like you thought… there was someway to get your money refunded from Apple. I don't know if this is true so I thought I would throw it out there. Earlier this evening I bought text detective… And maybe I just need to spend some more time with it… But it really isn't working too well.

Hello all. I just recently joined AppleVis because I will soon be getting an iPhone 8, and I may, no, probably will, have a lot of questions once I start using it. I've never really used an iPhone before, except maybe one time when I got to mess around with one for a few minutes just to see if I could type on a touch screen. Other than that, the only Apple product I have is an iPod Shuffle I bought in 2011, with the round ring of buttons.

Hi,
I've heard of people putting their apple music on shuffle. How do I do this? I guess what I'm trying to ask is how do I get apple music to play all music across all genres? I know how to listen to different albums/artists/playlists in Apple Music, but rarely if ever do I listen to just one artist or one genre, I like a nice eclectic music mix. Is there a way to make Apple Music behave like Pandora for the purpose of music discovery?

On the official Twitter app, one can click on a profile, but, there, one can only see selective information, NOT including the user's bio. How does one, using VoiceOver, access bio information on the official Twitter app?
(I've heard from sighted folks that this is accomplished using a swipe to the left, if that is at all helpful.)

I have an iPhone 8 with the latest OS. The other day, the cable outside my house that connects me to the cable company broke, and they came to fix it. The internet is working right, again, except for emails on my phone. The messages load and read on my Mac, but nothing is sent to the phone. I use the native Apple app, and it has always worked fine. The phone is connected to my network and behaving normally, otherwise.

Hi. I have some files I made in Hokusai that I want off my iPhone. They are so big that I can not email them and trying to export them to dropbox or any other app makes Hokusai crash. I usually just backup to iCloud and don't bother with iTunes. My question is: if I backup to iTunes, will I be able to access the Hokusai files from the backup and if I can, how? I know when I do the backup everything in Hokusai and all my other apps will be stored on my computer, the problem is I don't know where. Thank you.

I've been using an ipod touch 4th generation for several months now but I sometimes think i'm missing information on certain apps. For instance, I've heard the tone mode discussed on the LookTel money reader but I haven't seen where to turn this on or off. I have seen help and feedback buttons on some but not all apps. Hi all. Firstly to introduce myself.
I am blind, have been for 10 years now. I'm Mark, from Ware in Hertfordshire in the UK. I am coming over to apple and to the i phone from a nokia n 70 with talks. Its a big jump but i think its about time i did enter the 21st century.
So i have ordered myself a i phone 6 128 gig. Not knowing how much storage i'll need i thought i'd like my music on the go and enough room for extra and no worries of running out.

I have never worked with an iPad with VoiceOver before and will probably have to help her with the setup and other processes. Also, I’ve never set up an iDevice straight out of the box but had my phone store from where I bought my iPhone set it up there.
So, anything I should be aware of? Any tips? Advice? Specifically involving setting up the new iPad and, first, activating VoiceOver independently. Any online resources you can point me to for further info?

Hi all,I am not being able to access mispelt words while composing text messages. I do find the mispelt word rotor, but but when I flick up or down Voiceover detects nothing even when I'm sure there are typos. Where may I be doing wrong? Thanks.

In previous versions of iOS, I used the Find My Friends app to set a notification to tell me when my wife leaves a location and is coming to pick me up from work. I did this daily, since I never quite figured out a way to set a recurring notification.
In iOS 13, the new Find My app has no notification button to do this. Or at least none I can find. Is there a new method to set a notification to be alerted to when a friend leaves or arrives at a certain location?
And, if I can go further, is there a way I can set that notification to be sticky?

I am using overcast to play episodes from a sleep app. I created a playlist for episodes by a particular narrator that I like. These are the only episodes I want to play. All of these episodes have been played. When I open the playlist and start an episode, when the episode is finished, overcast does not play the next episode on the playlist. Instead it defaults to an unplayed episode from the same podcast that is by another narrator and that is not on the playlist. Is my only option to delete every episode from the library that is not included in my playlist?

Hi everyone,
I am a new member on this website and I am havin trouble getting facebook notifications to work on my iphone5 here is what I have done so far.
I went into the notifications and I hae facebook set to badges alerts and sounds. I also signed into the facebook under settings and I went into the facebook app and under notifications I went into mobile push and I made sure that everything was checked. I even removed and reinstalled the app. I hope that someone can help me thanks so much for your time.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the split screen that is present on the settings screen on the IPads? This split screen is not on the IPhone, so it really put me through a loop when I went to the IPad. It is so incredibly frustrating!
When ever I wish to swipe, sometimes I'm in the top level of settings and sometimes I'm in general. When I tap once with 4 fingers on the top of the screen it takes me to the top level of settings when I wish to be at the top of the current screen (like general).

Hi All!
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of spotlight in IOS 17.1.1? It keeps appearing on most every new screen I go to, and it's getting pretty annoying. How do I deactivate it,/make it go away until the next time I need it?
