I recently updated to the latest version of iOS, iOS 16.2 from iOS 15.
The most annoying thing at the moment about the Books app is that because of the way the VoiceOver reads it now, after each section of text it will do a keyboard click when in continuous reading mode, something which didn’t happen in the previous version of iOS.
Is there anyway to reduce this or are we just stuck with it now.

Hi all,
I have an iPhone 6 running ios 12 and a new battery that was fitted by Apple under the replacement program three weeks ago. I have been using a new pair of bluetooth earphones for the last couple of weeks and they have been fine. However, yesterday for some reason I could not get them to connect to my phone.

This is David. I posted about my iPhone upgrade dilemma a while back. Now I just learned that my friend successfully brought the phone with him and will bring it to me when he visits me later this week. So I'll be upgrading from the 13 mini to the standard 17.
What are some new changes I should be aware of? Things to prepare? Settings to adjust?

Hey all,
I've got some absolutely awesome apps to submit, but I'm having a lot of trouble with iTunes. First, there is the problem of finding the exact app I want. I think I can go to search in one of the menus, but I can't remember which one or how I even pulled the app store up in the first place.
Second, I can't get JAWS or NVDA to copy the link to the app store for the IPhone to go on so people can check the app out. How are you getting these links?

Hi Folks
Since updating to IOS 16, I can't activate any of the notifications on my locked screen. A single swipe up or down gives me options to clear, open a tool bar so I can mute for an hour or a day and also block. All of these are working properly. However whatever I try, I simply can't activate a notification. If it's in a stack I can double tap to open the stack but still can't activate.
I've tried a one finger double tap and also swiping up to activate and double tapping but neither gets any results.

Hi everyone. I’ve been trying to edit a transcription in Just press Record and I am struggling. If I try moving through the document using the rota or a Bluetooth keyboard line by line or word by word, Voiceover doesn’t read the document but if i touch the screen it reads the document out. Has anyone found a way round this? I’ve tried to export the document to other apps with similar results. Please help!

Hello all,
I hope all are well. To my understanding, as of iOS 16, there is supposed to be a starting point detection feature in Apple Maps. I copied the description I found from Apple “ Starting point detection with VoiceOver in Maps. VoiceOver users now get automatic sound and haptic feedback that identifies the starting point for walking directions in Maps“.

I got a question on my iOs device and it asked me if I wanted to keep the music I already had on my device and I chose yes. Is there a way to change that?

I'm having an issue with the audible app. actually I had 2 books in my dad's library which I read through his account. now I created my own account and would like to add those titles to my own account. I do not have a membership but those titles were purchased earlier.

if you go into the Tubi TV app and you choose the explorer tab and then you search for spellbinder,, and then you pick the spellbinder TV show, it only shows the first three episodes. I cannot scroll to see the rest of the episodes. Using Apple TV and voiceover on the Apple TV box, I can see all episodes. What am I doing wrong? is this a bug in iOS 13.6? Or is it a bug in the Tubi TV app? Please download the app and see if you get the same results that I do. I don't know why I can choose and see all episodes with voiceover on Apple TV but not with voiceover on the iPhone.

On my old nokia i used to be able to send contacts to other phones as a business card if anyone remembers the good old days of talks and nokias.
I am sure i phone is capable of something similar but does anyone know how you can either copy and paste a phone number from your contacts into a message body or simply send a contact to someone via text message.

Hi. What's the difference between djay 1 and djay 2? Which one is better? Do they both work with VoiceOver? Or does only one work with VoiceOver? Or do neither of them work with VoiceOver? Besides VoiceOver, what else should I think about when deciding which one to use? Also, somebody told me it was $10. I can not find a djay for $10. Was it removed or did the price just go down? Was it djay 1 or djay 2 that was $10? Thank you.

I've been using downcast for a while but am thinking of getting a 1 tb IPhone next year,, I've selected the options to download all episodes, and keep all, but it doesn't seam to be doing it.
I have to tap on the podcast, then tap on view all episodes, then, tap on download all, then tap on the download all button again when it pops up, is there any way of making this easier on me?

First things first: I don't have any kind of computer.
Okay, so I had low storage and I also decided to get an outlook email address. I reinstalled the app and could easily sign in to the new account.
The problem was that it no longer bundled the e-mails, like for example, I would get all the messages from iOs app entry Feer.
Now, I get all of them in separate messages.
So I installed Outlook instead and yes, I love it. But I have the same problem on there.

I think this is my first time making a post here on Apple Vis.
Anyway, I need help figuring out how to edit the duration of a photo clip that I want to use for a video I'm trying to make with IMovie on my IPhone.
So far I haven't been able to figure out how to do it on my own and I haven't gotten any luck by asking for help in other places such as the IPhone for the Blind group on Facebook or on VoRail.
