Hello everyone, I have a french keyboard installed on my iphone 7. However, I do not know how to write the special french characters mentioned in the subject line. The only french character that I see there is é. However, I have no idea how to write other accented french characters on my iphone 7. I am totally blind using voiceover. Thank you for your response. Hello all, Does anyone know how to add the audio description feature so Hulu and Netflix will play described movies and shows, if available? Tried to follow the instructions on Hulu's site for iPhone and this did not work. Probably operator error. Thanks in advance!

The Hulu app on my iPad Mini 4 is difficult to use. The app screen keeps constantly refreshing itself. Is there a setting to change to stop this or should I write to Hulu and report it as an accessibility problem?

I just updated the Hulu app on my iPad Mini 4. Before the new update, I could not flick (or swipe) left and right through the pages without the whole screen refreshing and sending Voiceover straight back to the top of the screen. One had to use Explore by touch exclusively all the time. Now, this seems to be fixed!
I hope others can verify this and it isn't just my devices. I wish the app interface was a little more intuitive to use, but this is a major improvement by Hulu,IMHO!

Hi, Has anyone successfully used the Hulu app on the IPhone? I can't figure out how to log in using Facebook; I just see a place to enter my email address and password, which I can't do because my account is set up through Facebook. I can't use Hulu on my windows PC because there seems to be no way to rewind,, fast forward or pause.

At long last. Humanware's stepped up to the plate to deliver us all from darkness with the new def blind communicator app, available to all people for the reasonable price of... what? That can't be right... 99 dollars? For an ios app? An app that requires you to already have spent thousands of dollars on a braille display? Yupp, you heard it right. We thought access note was bad. We thought braille institute's via app was insulting. But now, Humanware has kindly stepped up and taken the cake with no contest whatsoever by releasing this 99 dollar beauty.

Sometimes, not always, my iPhone touch screen seems hypersensitive. While using one finger to scan the screen, in search of an app icon, I often open several apps I don't want to use. If I have to examine several screens, I often have three or four unwanted apps I've opened along the way. I'm not double tapping; my finger has not left the screen while sliding around in search of a particular icon. Is this problem unique to me; is it a matter of not using gestures correctly; and how might I scan the screens without opening things?

I downloaded the Hypster Senses app the other week when it appeared on the app's list on this web site and noted the problems described by the poster. I too am having the same annoyances with the need to login every time you use the app. Other than that, this is a really good music app but I will not use it any more simply due to the login problem

I have just been using a Samsung phone for the last two years, and I have to say it was a nightmare with talk back. The lag, the awkward gestures, the apps that just don't work at all with it, the lack of any support when something goes wrong, them never fixing bugs. Android 10 talk back was okay, but after android 11 came out, it was a mess and I totally started to regret my move to android. So I have an iPhone 13 now. What new apps is the blind community using now on iOS? I feel like I've been missing out.

As mentioned in the title, I am working on an iPhone app for colorblind people (myself included). The app is basically a camera, and it shifts the problematic colors (for your type of colorblindness) towards colors that are easier to differentiate.
I have a mild protanomaly, and I've found this app to be very useful when I am unable to differentiate between red/green or blue/purple on charts, fruits, etc.

I have trouble imagining I'm the only person who has had this happen--repeatedly--to me. I add an album to my library, and I go to play this album later, only to find that it no longer exists; instead, the songs in it have been redistributed into other albums--mainly compilations--which I never added. Or, the album exists with some of its songs, but others have been redistributed in this way. To add to this, it is not uncommon for me to discover that, despite a song title being present, the song is not available to play.

I'm happy to report that it looks like, with the release of version 3 of the Speedtest app, it's once again accessible. If I remember correctly, version 1 was accessible, version 2 was not, and now version 3 is once again Voiceover friendly! A move in the right direction for this developer!

Hi there, I have a muslim friend and she is seeking an app for muslim prayer times. She is having issues with several apps including muslim pro, al kibla, quran majed, thats the extent of it so far. any other recommends? I am lost as i am not muslim but willing to test things for her. she has a lot of trouble because the ads get in the way i think I cannot remember but also she wants something accurate she is willing to do a premeum suscription if it help the apps accessibility and it isnt too much. but if anyone knows a way let me know.
