I Need Help with the Books App
I am totally blind, and I use the Books App with VoiceOver.
To help with entertainment challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Books App is offering free and paid iPub digital downloads of books.
After downloading some iBooks, I noticed that with VoiceOver, the app will only read one page at the time. Instead of swiping down as I usually do, with one finger, I have to swipe up. It is as if the page nomenclature is upside down!
I am asking you to please fix the problem.

I am very new to IOS development and the Apple universe and as such need some advice from others who have more experience.
I am currently converting some of my Android apps to IOS they are some way away from being ready to publish and this is the subject of my first question.
What is the most acceptable way of presenting apps? i.e limited version with ads and a paid full version or in app purchase to unlock features?
Is there a metric to see how many downloads an app has had available in the App Store? as it is readily shown in the Play Store.

Hi! My mom agreed to try an iPad to listen to her audiobooks. I would like to make it as easy as possible for her using all the accessibility functions available for the blind. The voice over function looks great but complicated and all the other options are confusing!

Hi, I used to use the podcasts app on my phone on the basic ios app but thats annoying. I paid for downcast and its annoying because i have to email the opml files to myself. but it does do as advertized once you figure it out. I prefer to stream my podcasts rather than download them to my phone due to space. Is there an app that i can shut off all downloads and just stream my podcasts and it will auto sync my subscriptions via say icloud or itunes? or does apple kinda hold the strings on using there app only?

Wow, i'm blown away by this voice. It's so perfect.
For a very very long time those of us from the UK have gotten very generic sounding voices but this is a huge step in the right direction to show the divercity of accents we have here.
You can tell this is a black man from London straight away and I love it. Oh alex has breathing but this guy pronounces things in a way I've only heard from tv/people around me, I never never thought I'd hear this accent on my phone but here we are.

Hi, I came acrossed a great app for watching tv. The only thing is the buttons areen't activating when pressing them I was wondering if people can try to contact the developer regarding this matter. The app is called at and t uverse live tv. It seems great I can read everything however it seems that the buttons could be layed out different and some tweeks could be made so voice over users can use this app just like everyone else. The great thing is you don't need to have service with a t and t's home service to use the app. any help would be appreciated thanks.

HI all. My IPhone5s alerted me that I OS8 is available. before I update I first want to make sure of something. I have read about the bugs in I OS8 on applevis and these seem problematic for me. After updating to I OS8 is it possible to roll back to I OS7 if I'm not comfortable with the changes? many thanks for any feedback.

Just purchased an I phone 11 pro. I discovered after almost missing work that my volume up and down buttons stopped enabling snooze and I almost overslept. I've tried creating an alarm and verifying that snooze is on, but no matter what I do I can't seem to find a way to use the snooze feature. All that being said, I realize the obvious fix, but getting up some mornings at 4:30 AM is not easy. Thanks for any help.

I just wanted to know how you feel your I Phone 4s is performing, for those that are using the 4s,after installing IOS 7? Do you find it sluggish or lagging all over the place? Only in certain apps, or performing certain tasks? If any of you have an I Phone 5s, are you experiencing any of this behavior on your new device with voice over? Let me hear your experiences. I am on the fence about IOS 7 and or upgrading the the 5s. Thank you. -Andrew-

I am using an I phone 7 plus running IOS 12 and am wondering if there are any Voice Over gestures to getting the phone app to go to speaker phone mode. If i move the phone away from my ear it seems to go to speaker mode but the volume is extremely low and toggling the volume button does not seem to make it much louder. Does anyone have any info on Voice Over gestures that will make the speaker phone mode work better? Are there any other things I can do to make the speaker phone mode work better?

I'll be happily typing away, and all of a sudden, the keyboard becomes unresponsive, and the app starts speaking what I've typed so far. Another time the app crashes is when I tap and hold on the top of the screen to send what I've written as a text or whatever. The popup will appear, but no amount of flicking will move me through the options, and touching the screen produces no speech. The only way I've managed to combat these crashes is to return to the home screen and then enter the app again.

Who has noticed a dramatic increase since updating to ios 17 on munday?
