I was just wondering if people thought it would be a good idea to combine the standard typing with the touch typing feature. I ask this because I think it would b cool to be able
to swipe right or left like you currently can on touch typing and once you find the letter, number, symbol, or character you want, you could simply double
tap and it will be selected.
iOS and iPadOS
Often, I get ideas in my head and want to share them. Not long ago, I thought to myself: Is there a way to create access to tabular data, such as that from a spreadsheet, by combining tactile exploration with audio, either recorded by a voice talent or just using Voiceover on an iOS device?
I also wonder if it would be possible to create an app, or find an existing one, that would allow you to have a visual table on paper, if you want it, but have the data within the table read out, again, either with a voice talent or with Voiceover.
Hello everyone
TLDR: Interested to know how you organize your home screen. By app category? Folders? Just a bunch of pages and use the S word to open apps? Other (very, very interested in this last one).
After almost a decade, I'm getting a new iPhone.
My last iPhone was the iPhone 7, but I've been primarily an Android user since 2018 or so. The 16 pro should be arriving tomorrow and I'm super stoked, after years of telling myself I would never buy or contract a big ticket item on black Friday and here I am.
Tuesday I received my new iphone X an upgrade from my current 6S. Actually I am not sure why I suddently wanted an X but I bought it. For me the learning curve for using FaceID has been and still is much harder than I had thought. Also the new X commands are hard to get used to but that is something I can manage.
Hi all,
I'm searching for an app that is able to recognize CDs by using the iPhone camera and to save their album titles, interprets and more in a list. I would like to have an overview about the CDs I have at home. Is there an app that can retrieve data from Discogs?
Any help would be nice. :)
Thanks in advance!
Hi there everyone. Now I'm active again on the AppleVis site for adding a post today. Today's post is based on an app that identifies images in 3 ways. The first way is a simple description. Secondly is getting a description in a detailed way. Lastly the way the app identifies an image is in Text Mone. If your image has a piece of text the app will only identify the text and read it for you. Finally the app is called Identifi and completly free and is for the iPhone and other Ios Devices. Try it out.
I have a problem with incoming Facetime video calls, and it is that I can not easily recognize them as a video call, and I answer them without knowing that my camera is on and transmiting video. Normally I use special ringtones that I assigned to my friends and family and I answer the call without checking anything else. Even with other people I answer the call after Voiceover readme the name of the person without waiting to hear the rest of the information about the call, because if I wait to hear all the information, the other person may hangup the call.
Hi!
I crochet a whole lot and wonder what app is the most efficient for identifying yarn colours.
I'm interested in apps for iioms as well as ertmology apps that are accessible. There are several in the app store but I don't know if any are accessible.
Is anyone else having trouble using one of the Siri voices as the default voiceover voice? Since I updated to iOS 17.2, when I use the Siri voice on my phone it sometimes makes a crackling sound. The behavior goes away completely If I switch the voice I’m using, but the problem isn’t consistent. I don’t have the same issue on my iPad, which is running iPadOS 17.2.
As of now I have received the messages of two users of my app Speech Central that it doesn't read the text for them on iOS 13. After researching some more on the internet I found two more posts from other developers who report that some of their users have similar problems, and from the feedback on those posts it seems that also few more developers are aware of the issue/have the same issue.
Have a great day everybody. The classic bug of the mail app in which the focus jumps around when you delete emails happens to some people and not to others. Some people report that it's fixed on 14.1 but according to reports in the 14.1 bug list, the bug still happens for some. My question is: to those people that it happens, did anyone tried another mail app to see if the bug is still present? I am hesitant to try since the last time I used a mail app other than the default mail app, my mail folders where kind of screwed up.
Hello all! I have a couple of questions about the Voice Dream reader app. I just downloaded it a few minutes ago, and I can’t wait to start playing around with it! I do have a couple of questions. And I may have some more over the next few days as I start learning how to use it. So please forgive me. LOL
Hello all. I am from New Zealand. I have the IHeart Radio App on my IPhone 5 and until a few months ago could use it perfectly. When I updated to IOS 8.4 for some reason I was logged out of my IHeart Radio App. I now can not get back into it. When I double tap on Already have an account button, I am put into a loop where I am asked to accept the terms and conditions but if I double tap on this, I just am put continuely in the loop, getting nowhere. I have been writing to the IHeart radio help people, but I feel as though they don't understand what I am saying.
Hi everyone. I remember reading a post on here a while back saying that iHeartRadio had accessibility issues. I had already had it on my phone and it was mostly accessable. The only things I found that wasn't very accessible was the alarm clock, sleep timer and the settings. I later found out they were there but it was buttons Voiceover couldn't read so all the buttons would do was click. And even if you did tap the buttons, they still weren't very accessible. Until now. Today a new update came out and i updated then opened iHeartRadio and started going to my stations.
