Who likes to use down cast because of how easy it is to use and how custimizable it is.

I've not walked with Voice Vista just yet but wow! The new make a rout function seams like it could be interesting, like turn by turn directions in other map apps but better.
I seem to have lost most of the Voiceover voices, and I really need some help to get them back. Here is the progression of what happened.
I got a new iPhone 7 on Wednesday and restored from my latest iCloud backup. All went well, escept that Voiceover seemed a bit more sluggish than it did on an iPhone 7 I had looked at recently. (Both phone have 128 GB of memory.)
So as many people will know, there are three typing methods, known as Typing Styles in settings, when using VoiceOver and the standard Apple keyboard on iOS.
Standard = move around the keyboard until you focus on the letter or character you want, then double tap, just like how you navigate normally with VoiceOver.
Touch typing = move your finger around the keyboard until you find the letter or character you want, then lift to type it. This is the most popular method, as it is quicker than standard, but still offers the ability to be accurate.
Have you ever been removed from an iMessage group chat?
Well, somethings up with the iMessage system lately.
At least in mine and some other people’s cases.
Sometimes when you get removed you get added back after awhile. You ask who added you back and everybody says they didn’t add you back
It’s a glitch in the system.
Has anybody noticed this random glitch
I opened youtube today to find, the name of the title of a viddeo, I flick right, I'm already used to the menu for the name of the title,, it annoys me but I'm used to it by now, I'll just flick right and... Go to channel button... Oh no...
This button shows up for every damn title, plus stupid shorts which you can't hide in the app as far as I know, they just want to make youtube as clunky as hell to use and I don't understand why at all.
I've been following the Fleksy app and testing it with VoiceOver when new releases come out.
After playing with the latest version in the app store, I think it is worth giving Fleksy another try. I know many people were discouraged when it was released as an OS-wide keyboard in iOS 8. Yes, the app wasn't very useable with VoiceOver in the first few versions. Some of the issues were with iOS itself and some with how Fleksy was implemented.
I think my phone has gone blind. It is an iPhone 15 Pro updated with the latest iOS version. Whenever it wakes up it looks for a face like it is supposed to. However, it will record an incorrect face every time it wakes up. I can have it face down next to me or across the room on a wireless charger, and apparently it gets upset that the top of the desk or the room ceiling is not the correct iteration of my face. One would think the phone would be able to recognize that there was no face visible and not count that as a failed face recognition attempt.
Hello.
I decided to download all of my Conversations With God audio books and listen to them. Before I did, I tappped on the perchiced tab at the bottom of the screen to see what books I had perchiced. When I double tapped on the tab, there seemed to be nothing on the screen, by nothing, I mean no books, audio or print showed up. So I downloaded my audiobooks and double tapped on the perchiced tab again, the same thing happened. No books were there.
This doesn't make any sense to me as I know I perchiced the books as I had just downloaded them.
I downloaded ABBYY Fine Scanner and choose to try the premium features. Can I scan a document and read it in the Fine Scanner app itself? It asks me to copy to email, KNFB Reader, Kendall, iBooks, drop box, drive, and so on. Can I simply scan something in the app and read it? After all of the copy to....options are used, I still can't figure out how to read what I scanned?
Hi,
Is there any way to get Siri to use the old Siri sounds when pressing the side button? That was such a trademark sound, and I have trouble hearing the new one. I miss it and I want it back.
I think I'm the only Turkish user here but still, maybe someone will help me.
hello apple visters. I have a small question.
I want to try and learn swift when I have the time of corse. i"m wondering what I can do with it, what apps I could try and make starting out simple of corse. I have some ideas for my tffp podcast but yeah.
Is it possible for a blind person to learn and make use of all of the swift language, and how would you go about preparing a logo for your app as I know the app store for both iOS and mac needs one.
Take care.
Last post. I went looking but there are a ton of posts about face ID. Here's my interesting question. I'd gotten this answer as someone needed help with it. I saw something in accessibility called face Id and attention. Clicking it, I found out there's a haptick to go if your phone successfully unlocks. Here's my curiosity. If the vibration switch is enabled, it does just vibrate, no unlock sound. If the switch isn't on, the sound plays and there is still a vibration as the phone successfully unlocks. so my weird half awake quary is this. What's the point?
I have an iPhone that is very new. I would like advice to be .able to reduce draining. The phone is brandy new. I would like advice, and lots of it
Hello AppleVis members!
I had a wonderful experience here asking for feedback about my last app (Foodlapse). I wrote another app called Please Don't Rain that I would love feedback on concerning my accessibility support.
When I had an upcoming day that was important to me I got sick of looking up the weather for it over and over again. With Please Don't Rain you can choose a place and a day and you’ll get details about the weather for that day that will continue to update automatically if you have the Pro version.
I've heard about apps like lire and rss readers but I don't think that will work for me? Basicly I'm wanting to look for a search term, find articles about that and then get updates on those articles every, hour or so, I hope you understand what I mean.
Hello Forum readers,
A few days ago I purchased an iPad Air 1 after doing some online research. I am going through a tutorial called "Voice-Overeasy" but am having problems doing the flick gesture. My wife is sighted and low on patience with voiceover and the associated gestures and such. I do not have an iPhone but only this iPad which was purchased to aid my career as a freelance writer. What can I do or utilize that will help me learn the basics competently?
I do not have vision so am solely dependent on voiceover.
Hey all!
I hope you are all doing well!
So, I have a question for you all. I'm curious. How do you all use VoiceOver activities? What tasks/situations do you use them for?
I've been debating looking into/using them. But, I don't really know what I'd be able to use them for?
Is it like shortcuts where the sky is the limit so to speak?
