When typing a message voice over does not announce word after tapping space button.
Works normally when typing email, safari search and WhatsApp.
I am using iPhone 10s with latest iOS update.

In contacts I have home phones listed followed by IPhone number. Before IOS8 and subsequent updates I could pick the IPhone number and send a message with no problem. Now, however, when I know I've doubletapped on the IPhone number, the home number is what appears in the to-line. I can only remedy this by making sure that the IPhone number is the top choice of phones for a given contact. The same happens with addresses; if I doubletap on a secondary address, what gets put in is the first address on the list.

When I heard about the new word game IAssociate2, I went to the app store and grabbed it. Oh, how disappointed I was. I couldn't make sense of it at all. I could hear how many letters there were in the word I was to solve, and that's about all. Sometimes, if there was a clue, I could read that, but not always...
Then, I opened the game yesterday and... I played it for three hours straight. Everything is now completely accessible, including all the associations for each word, and how many unsolved associations there are for each word.

So bash completion will work, all bash scripts which requires bash should work, bash is default shell in this.

Hi,
I was wondering something about iBird apps. I have iBird Pro, which has over seven hundred birds. I looked at iBird South, and it says it has over five hundred I think. So what I want to understand is: do apps like iBird South, West, etc have birds in them that iBird Pro doesn't? Thanks.

I am trying to read Game of Thrones on the IBooks app.
Now are there I think pictures before every chapter.
What happends is that, when I am at the end of a chapter with voiceover, it stops reading because of these pictures.
I have to use a swipe to go to the next page and swipe down again to continue reading.
Is there a way that voiceover continues automatically?

I have just purchased two extremely lengthy books from iTunes. Is there a way to make VoiceOver read all the content... automatically turning the pages as the Kindle Keyboard does? I am running iOS6 on the new fifth generation iPod Touch.

Hi. I just installed IOS 8 on my iPod Touch. I wonder if anyone else has found this to be true with iBooks. When I attempt to double-tap the "Free button," nothing happens. I am not encountering this in the app store.

As I want to get Read2Go and have also been using iBooks for the last few days, Iād like to know how some Read2Goās features work in comparison with iBooks. In particular:
1. Does Read2Go generate a pause after moving to a page in continuous reading? Iām finding it quite annoying with iBooks on my iPhone 4S.
2. Does Read2Go allow line by line and paragraph by paragraph navigation in textbooks? It seems that iBooks only allows character by character and word by word navigation apart from its conventional ātable of contentsā support.

I have tested Ibooks in ios 9 but don't find it accessible. Has anyone tips on an accessible ibooks reader or tips how to use the reader that is in Ios 9?

I can no longer find my iBooks that I have downloaded. As I remember, they used to be in the library. I don't see my library with downloaded books. Did they change the title or area where they are located in the latest update?

Hi there- i'm an teacher for blind students and i've noticed that recently voiceover gestures seem to have changed for ibooks- in particular i'm finding i can no longer touch and select individual words only a page of text at a time. This feature was great for my students with low vision- any thoughts on this?

I've read that IBooks has three kinds of page layout Book, Full Screen, and Scroll. However I can't find where to find those settings using voice over. I am using IOS 9.1, I found it's already preinstalled. How can I change my page layout?

Hey guys, just got iBooks and whenever I try to download the free Winnie the Pooh book the progress bar will move all the way across as if it's finished but it won't actually finish at all.
I went to Store -> Purchased -> Redownload but it still didn't work at all.
Haven't tried any other books because I don't want to waste any money yet.
Anyone else having this issue or have any tips? Thanks

Hello all,
Ibooks on my iphone contains a reference to the ios user guide 7.1. I cannot open or delete this title. Obbiously this title is no longer relevant and I would like to delete it. I have no problems deleting other titles but this one cannot be deleted.
Can anyone here suggest how to delete this title?

hi, i'm having a strange problem with my ibooks ap, and i'm wondering if anyone else has come across it and found a sollution. I read quite a lot of ibooks in the ap, and usually everything works as expected''' i do the 2 finger swipe down to read continuously and leave it to it. but with my current book, VO reads half a page, then skips down to the top of the following page. If i explore the screen, the rest of the text is there, but for some reason VO just skips over it.

The subject line states the question. Using iOS 6.1.2 on an iPhone 5, the problem occurs with all of my ibook downloads. Is this normal behavior or can someone suggest a solution? Many thanks. Scott

I've been an avid ibooks user for the longest time, but I just got a book, isee by david woodbridge, as well as a few others, that are done up in a different format. They seem to be interactive books. is there a tutorial on how to navigate those?
