Hi anyone having problems deleting apps in IOS 11.3?
iOS and iPadOS
Subject says it all. I still have an iPhone 6s Plus that’s rocking well on iOS 15.7.9. It came to me running iOS 15.7.3 the earlier this morning it automatically updated to iOS 15.7.9. On the other hand, I have an iPad sixth generation which one’s iOS 17. Attention was running a version of I think iOS 11 or something I don’t know.
I have been trying to use Word on iOS with VoiceOver for well over a year now. Since I have an Office subscription on my Windows PC, it would be nice to integrate my work flow across devices, OneDrive, etc.
I currently have an iPhone XR but have also experienced these issues with previous phones as well as with iOS 12 and iOS 13. So I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues and if so, if they have been successfully in getting around them.
Hi all. Not sure how or why, but the NFB news line isn't working. It was fine until the day before Thanksgiving. It just crashes upon opening. I didn't do anything, and even went into the beta of IOS17.2 just for curiosity sake to see if I could get it working. Let me know. I've sent an email but not sure how much help it would be.
I don't know how new this is but I have only recently noticed it. When using the notification centre I seem to struggle to switch from notification view to today view. I've got the slider which says page 2 of 2 on the notification view, and when I do the flick it says page 1 of 2 but still shows me my notifications and doesn't actually seem to switch. Sometimes it does it find and other times it doesn't.
I’ve noticed over the last three days that I can’t change the punctuation setting on my iPhone using voiceover. I haven’t changed in the settings prior to that. I am using iPhone 11. I’m have tried changing the settings multiple times. I have tried to power down the phone and start it again. I have turn voiceover off and turned it back on to reset it. I am running the latest version of iOS. I don’t see any update notices in the settings so I am up-to-date on my iOS. Any insights would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hello everyone! I hope you all are staying safe and well! And I hope you all are not getting too bored yet!LOL I have a question. Has anyone tried the podcast apps pod cruncher or eyecatcher? How accessible are they? I ask, because they are paid apps. And I would rather know from people that use them, so that I can save my money. Because I don’t want to have to go through the hassle of getting my money back. Thank you all in advance?
I am in a job where it is becoming necessary for me to do quite a bit of project management. I saw an accessibility review of OneNote that was a couple of years old, and it was promising! I am wondering if anyone is currently using the IOS version of OneNote. If so, are there issues? Or is it pretty usable?
Thanks for your thoughts/comments.
I have the latest iPadOS and I see that it is slower than ever with the latest iPadOS 18.0.1. I am particularly seeing this in multilingual content, VoiceOver takes around 2 seconds to automatically switches from one language to another. This is also worse when I use Siri voices. In my case I have auto language switch enabled, and this is when I see this big gap happening when VoiceOver switches voices.
BTW, I reset my iPad which is the 10th gen.
Any feedback is highly appreciated!
Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone here has tested this new app?
i'm currently using Chirp as my twitter app on the watch, but this new app is available for Ios/ipadOS, watchOS, and macOS with just 1 purchase.
I just sent the developer a direct message, and they said that it works with voiceOver on Ios/ipadOS but hasn't been tested on the watch.
Can anyone here provide me feedback?
I'm sorry if I create the topic in wrong place but I'm curious
Is Black Mirror Bandersnatch accessible? As I know, it's the interactive version of the serie Black Mirror. You watch it and you choose what happens next. My friends say it's available in Netflix but I'm not sure if it's accessible or not
I was hoping that people would share what they believe to be the best combination of apps and settings to essentially turn an iPhone into a ‘walking companion’.
I heard about this from another forum and I was wondering this too.
Campfire pro is for writers and it can be used on Mac and pc. Here’s the site.

Hello everyone,
I’m considering using the CapCut video editor on my iPhone, but before I dive in, I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried it with VoiceOver.
Is CapCut accessible for blind users? Can you navigate the interface, import clips, and edit videos with VoiceOver enabled? Are there any major barriers or workarounds worth knowing?
If you’ve used it recently or have any insight, I’d really appreciate your feedback. I’m looking for a video editor that’s intuitive and accessible on iOS, so any tips or recommendations are welcome too!
Thanks in advance!
Hi. I found an app called crafty voice memos recorder and I am wondering if anyone has it or knows if it is accessible before I get it. Thank you.
Hi,
Can anyone please tell which iPods, iPhones, iPads etc can support the crossfade playback function in iTunes?
Currently have an iPod Classic which I know doesn't support this but can't seem to find which models/generations do.
Many thanks in advance
