Just that. I have found no information about this feature, so I always change between tabs by pressing "tabs" on the bottom toolbar, then selecting one tab, not exactly an easy way... I know you can achieve this in other apps like >google Chrome simply sliding the toolbar left or right...Any idea?
In most screen readers, there's a key to bypass the screen reader for the next keystroke, so that it is processed by the app rather than the screen reader. I'm not having any luck finding this for VO on IOS. Does it exist by any chance?
I need to use the "Microphone" app, but the gain adjustment apparently requires swiping up or down. IT's not a standard slider.
Hi guys I'm new to the forums and hop I chose the right forum. Here's the question I have is there a navigation that will allow you to create your own walking path from point A to point B and keep on using that route? I live in an area where there very few sidewalks and has a large parking and lots of islands and green areas. you have to traverse sidewalks and through greenways and cross islands to get to the main driveto the apartment complex.Mobility instructors have even trouble a good route.
Hello All,
I want to know if there is an app that would allow me to Use Msft Word/Excel on my I-Phone with the ability to view/edit documents and transfer them, via drop-box to my desktop/laptop computer? If the app could print wirelessly to my printer, that would be icing on the cake! Am I asking for too much? I have not been able to locate such an app and I am wondering if anyone within the Apple Vis community knows of such an app out there. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all of your suggestions. -Andrew-
More and more now, there are automated machines that want to call us back, and they want us to enter information via touch tone. I encountered this with Uber recently, when attempting to report an item that was left in the Uber car. Uber's automated machine had to call me back to take more info. However, I didn't have enough time to get to the phone's keypad to enter info in.
Hi guys, I think the title of the post is a little bit weird but I am not a native English speaker. So I have an excuse!
Before iOS 17.4, I was able to go backwards or forward in a video bye double clicking and dragging my finger on the screen to move forward or backwards. But since I have started using iOS 17.4, I am not able to do that. Is there any reliable way to scrub the video currently playing? I had tried using vlc media player, but i don't think i had a good experience with that, otherwise i wouldn't have deleted it. Thank you so much, have a great day!
I am qiute desperate. I am looking for any scanner app which could create true 2 bit (not 16 bit) output files - just like my home scanner (samsung printer), which does the job perfectly when setup to black and white scanner mode. The reason is simple - the SIZE of such file.
I just struggled to post a message on messenger using my SE phone. First, AI tried to stick its nose in and think that it knows best. Then, there seemed to be blank spots instead of labeled buttons, so I had trouble finding the send button. I don’t use messenger very much, and I’m not sure I will want to do it again.
I am soon to be teaching "iphone with braille display) for the first time. They would like to know the easiest waay to manage their personal budget using this system. Would certainly appreciate hearing ideas around this one.

Hi everyone. Subject pretty much says everything. I've had some time to kill this afternoon, and decided to do a bit more in the online psychology course which I'm taking from OpenLearn. In the current section, they want me to watch a TED talk about the adolescent brain. I'm finding the TED website rather cumbersome with VoiceOver on my Mac. I was able to find and bookmark the video in question by going to YouTube directly, but I'm wondering if TED has an app and if so how accessible is it with VO? Tia for any input that can be provided.
I have several daisy audio cook books that I wanted to play on Voice Dream Reader. I know the daisy book has an MP3 format as well, so picked out all those files and zipped them into a compressed file ready for Voice Dream. The app reads the headings but not the content. For example, a cook book I put onto Voice Dream reads the chapter headings and when I tap on those, reads the different recipe titles, but can't go any further than that.
Just wondered if anyone knows of a way to adjust the voice-over volume relative to media volume, as I often find that media is a lot lower than voice-over in most contexts.
I have audio docking enabled, but even there, it does cause a bit of an issue if I want to use voice-over and listen to something at the same time because voice-over so it louder than what’s been played?
Nowadays when I go into Purchased Apps from Updates in the App Store on my device I am faced with well over 150 apps and growing. Many of these are Apps that I can no longer use or have tried out and found inaccessible. But it appears once they have been downloaded they are impossible to remove or hide and there are so many that it is an increasing problem to scroll through them for ones I want. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of them?
