I think this was a shortcut. It's called REPEAT. I thought it would only activate if I said, "Repeat this song". I found out that when I start, for example, an album, it keeps repeating the first song and I have to tell Siri, "Turn repeat off." I thought I was able to delete this shortcut. I deleted the Shortcuts app and still have to tell Siri to turn this repeat off. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for helping me to get rid of this.

Hello all,
Just posting this for informational purposes. I've noticed as i was attempting to re-watch the Spring forward event in Safari with ios8.2 on Apple's site, that double tapping on "experience the keynote", link causes Safari and Voiceover to lock up dramatically. It does the same on the Apple events page also, though not for previous events strangely.
Anyhow, wanted to post this, as I haven't seen anyone else discussing it and thought it worth commenting upon.

I am having an issue with the timer settings.
Every time I set the timer to Sop playing at end and press the set button, the display shows it correctly but every time I set a timer IOS does not work.
It resets itself to the default setting.
Any help would be great

I need help with syncing videos from Windows PC to Icloud.
I copied the videos into the Iclout Photo folder, and it synced to Icloud.
The issue is that the original filename does not appear in Icloud. On Icloud, it shows a date stamp for the video.
Somehow, I managed to solve this with one video by sharing it from the photo app to the files app and then again share it from the file’s app back to the photo app with save video.
This process is simply not very productive and sometimes it seems not to work at all.

I am using the FitBit Zip, the FitBit app and an iPhone 5 with the latest update of 8.4. Last evening, I realized that I couldn't find my battery status on the dashboard of the app. So I signed out of the app and was wondering how I can sign in again without starting over with setup or with a new account. The process doesn't seem too accessible with VoiceOver, because it doesn't seem to take my email address and password correctly. Also, if I finally get signed in again, how can I find out my battery status? Thanks for any help.

Hey is it possible that y’all can try to help me out with something? For those of you who use a keyboard with an iPad, you know how you have the buttons next to the text field that has undo, redo, paste, etc? I always dismiss those but they keep coming back. Do you know how to get rid of those extra buttons so they won’t come up every time I ‘m typing in a text field? I looked in the Keyboard settings and did not fine anything.

I have a strange issue.
Sometimes when I got a puncher lock screen on my iPhone SE 2022 says locked status bar item,
This is not because I have a VPN active, so I don’t know what’s going on. Does anybody know what could be happening?
When I go to the top of the lock screen onto the status bar it’s as locked status bar item
Does anybody know what could be this issue?
My phone is unlocked, and I’m running 16.4.1

dear folks.
I'm facing a strange issue and I hope someone can help me resolve it.
I have an Ipod 4 and have downloaded many apps on it but recently it doesn't allow me to go beyond 11 pages of application.
I can only find those apps not listed in these 11 pages by searching ipod and then I can double tap on them and open them normally.
How can I fix this issue?
I don't like to reset all my ipod to resolve it cause I have some gifted apps on this ipod like Speak It and Money Reader or Light Detector.
Is there any ways to solve it using Ipod itself or via Itunes.
By the way, I am using Itunes v1

Hi there, using iPhone 13 mini, latest IOS and latest Kindle update. Downloaded a Kindle book sample today, only to learn that text to speech is not enabled and that VoiceOver is not supported. Is this a Kindle issue or a Voiceover issue and who do you suggest I contact to find out if this book can be made readable through text to speech and if so, how can I proceed further. Many thanks.

Hey y'all. I just purchased the KNFB Reader app about an hour ago and I'm having some difficulty using it. The app keeps telling me that my camera lens is covered when in fact it is not. I thought it first it might be my OtterBox interfering, But I took the phone completely out of the case and I'm still having the same problem. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it. Thanks.:-)

I have now upgraded to IOS 9.3 and was trying to lock some of my Notes. I created a note, placing a few blank lines between the title of my note and my text to be hidden. I hit Done to save the note, then re-opened it. I selected Share Note, as per other posts on Applevis, but cannot find a Lock Note option. I do get a message, saying that no Airdrop recipients are nearby, however, no option to lock my note. I have been in settings and have set up a password for Notes. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm based in the UK.

This is happening Samantha members who use hotspot, so I can use their hotspot, this also happens whilst I’m using my support workers hotspots. Sometimes, I will either have my phone locked on hotspot, randomly, disconnect automatically, without any reason at all. Regardless of devices are connected or disconnected. This is annoying and I see no way to stop this on iOS. This doesn’t happen on android, can somebody help me see if there’s any way to solve this non-problem. This is been happening for a few years now

Recently I switched from Android to an iPhone 16 and now trying to explore various VO features and settings. But it seems that I accidently turn off something useful. As far as I remember when any pop-up window appears on the screen VO plays specific sound and focus automatically goes to this new window. But now it doesn't happen. For example:
1) Go to the home screen.
2) Find any app and choose Remove action.
3) Confirmation dialog which asks about app or only shortcut deletion appears.

I installed Seeing Ai V3.2.0 a day or so ago on my iPhone 8+ and to my dismay, discovered that no text is read out to me after scanning photos. I tried it out with 5 photos and only the date appeared plus options like share, delete and explore photos. Does anyone here experiences the same issue?

I've got a strange phenomenon in Spotify on my iphone.
I open a saved album, no playlist and start navigating from top to bottom, so it works well. When all songs begin to be listed in the album, Voiceover jumps from song 1 to song 2, but then jumps off to song 6, for example, and then continues as the rest of the album. I asked a sight watching the screen and all the songs are visible. I have tried to reinstall Spotify but it does not change anything.
Is there anyone else who has been out for the same thing and have some tips on what I can do?
