I remember an operating-system release or two ago that iOS devices had a number next to app icons indicating the app in question had an update. I used to see things like "Settings 1," "App Store 4," etc., or something very similar. I found out this past week that I'm not finding those things present any more because it seemed everybody had their iOS 8.2 update but me. Here I was, waiting for "Settings" to show "1 new item", and it never did.

We have discovered that VO and Siri fail to read several words after the phrase Charles de Gaulle!
This is reproducible on all our iPhones (approx. 12) except for one iPhone 4s.
For example: Charles de Gaulle won't be read. This reads as just 'Charles de Gaulle'.
This probably sounds like a practical joke if you're reading this using VO, but I can assure you it is real.
Has anyone got any other examples of this happening? Or know if a Radar has been filed already?

Hello all.
My fitbit app has recently updated but there are missing tiles. The callories, distance, active minutes and floors have disappeared and the steps tile is an unlabeled button. Every other tile is there apart from the ones mentioned but they are available on the website.
I have upgraded to ios 15 in case that was what the problem was but this hasn’t helped. Has anyone else had this problem? I have contacted fitbit but they aren’t too helpful.

I am at a loss. What do you do when you are missing ring tones from your phone, and they aren't in your library on your PC? They seemed to have disappeared after the latest update. Any thoughts? I am running an iPhone 5S and a Windows 7 PC. I have not updated to iTunes 12.

Hi i had found my twitterrific was Running slowly so I re-installed the app to clear it ever since I am no longer finding my Twitter lists in the side bar options does anyone know how I can restore them The official account on Twitter isn’t very helpful I have tried deleting my account from the app and re-adding it to no success

I've a problem on my new iPhone 6s.
I don't see the new vocalizer voices, i see only Alice (default voice Over voice for Italy) but not the other ones.
It's impossible to download them.

Does anyone know if the MissionClock app is accessible? It's a paid app and I don't see it listed in the App Directory. It keeps track of times/dates for NASA missions and even allows users to set alarms based on them so they can more closely and easily follow them.

I'm new to the forum. I'm working with a friend who is new to OSX and Voiceover. For some reason, even though the setting for reading misspelled words is set to "Speak Attributes", it doesn't. This is in OSX Maverics, using pages for word processing. It doesn't speak the misspelled words in any applications. Default speech verbosity is set to "medium".
Has anyone experienced this before? What other setting could be affecting this setting? Could it be a cursor setting or something else? Any help would be appreciated!

I was doing something with the downloaded PDF image of a plat of the subdivision in which I live that also included real estate related documentation etc. This is a picture of documents that were probably on microfilm at one time. I shared it from Dropbox to recognize with Seeing AI. All the text information came out great with Seeing AI, along with a bunch of lines, and it also summed up well what the PDF was when I asked it to describe the document. In the middle of that, I asked if the document had any colors, then if any characters had color or were all black and white.

I have Hokusai installed, but I do not understand how to do this with voiceover. could someone please give me a step by step guide? what if the vocals are in dropbox? if you hit the open in option, does this just start another track? Hi, I do not know what I did, but Voiceover reads my MLB notifications in Spanish, but not in the Spanish-sounding voice. I have everything set to English in Settings in both the Notifications and in the MLB app's settings as well. Has anyone else had this happen? It started yesterday.

Hello to all. I reported this to apple, but a few people do not have this issue. I want all of you to do the following.
- choose a contact
- hit share.
- send as mms
- fill in all contact details
Notice that when you hit send nothing happens. I have explained how to do this on twitter and someone running an iphone 6 can get this to work. They say htere are some settings to change but I don't quite understand as I went through every setting in ios8 I could think of when I tested it and could not get this to work.

Here’s a question for all.
I have a two GB a month data plan. I use it mostly for streaming while I’m on the go. However, I have noticed even when I’m not listening to music, and have all my apps closed, something is eating my data like I eat bacon.
Besides looking at the cellular settings, is there a way to tell which apps are using the most data? Something is happening in the background. Here’s an example. My data resets on the 6th of each month. I have already used 230 MB, and I know for a fact I have not streamed that much.

As a result, I'm seriously considering "mobilizing" my setup by purchasing the full versions of BackPack studio & Ferrite recording studio.
I'd use BackPack studio to record the show, & Ferrite to edit then I'd take the edited version & use Microsoft Edge, to upload to Pinecast.

I’m trying to revisit the possibility of writing on my iphone and ipad, but issuing voiceover commands frequently results in the command or capslock keys acting as if they are locked down. They are not physically down, but for example hitting the letter h will go home instead of entering the letter. I’ve tried two different keyboards and both my new iphone SE and 5th gen ipad mini. Is this an IOS 13 issue? I’ve tried every workaround I can think of, such as turning off key repeats and slowing key responses down.
