I'm running 15.2 on an IPhone8. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if this is new behavior but I am finding with raise to listen for audio messages within the messages app when someone sends me an audio message when I raise my phone up to my ear I get thrown out of the messages app. The work around for this is to double tap on the audio message and then raise to listen. Anyone else who uses this feature notice this?

So I had a long chat with Apple care this morning, specifically the customers with disabilities support at 877-204-3930, and they reported this appears to be a bug. But the apple care rep I spoke with couldn't confirm it because it work fine on his iPHONE 7 but not on my iPHONE SE. I am using iOS 10.3.3.

I often use the spotlight app to find frequently used apps quickly. When I do this I don't type anything in the edit field but I just pick from the suggested list that is already there. Some minutes later when I am either using the app or have even finished and have closed the screen Voice Over will say 'No Items Found'. I have even tried using the return to search link in order to actually close Spotlight but I still get the same message as if it it has been searching for something non-existent entered into the edit field.

Hello everyone – recently I've noticed while using dictation in a search on the App Store, a double tap starts and stops dictation, as normal, it also seems to cancel the search Query. – has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?

Hello,
Before I report to apple I want to see if anyone else has noticed this with iOS10? Voiceover seems to be no longer providing a lot of feedback regarding how well the lighting is in photos. Instead it's reading everything as either blurry or very blurry no matter how good the lighting is even on past photos I have. I just want to see if this is just me or if it's happening here before I report to apple.
Thanks!

For some time I have been using VO haptic and turned the sounds off. Was loving this way. But recently been noticing that haptic feedback stops when using the earpiece and coming back to speaker, typically after hanging up a call. The way to start it appears to be by turning off VO and then turning it on. Any inputs? Thanks.

Is anyone experiencing the following under ios15.1?
I've noticed on some of my apps my settings are occasionally resetting themselves just like I just installed the app. So far I've noticed this with the seeingAI app and the MyChart app. I set everything back up but then a few days later the app acts like a new install.

Problem: In the Messages app when using VoiceOver, it is not possible to tell whether the front facing camera or the rear facing camera is being used when sending a photo.

Hello everyone!

I don't know if it is just me. When I am in Safari, I've noticed some strange behavior with VoiceOver. When I read text in Safari, it repeats the text. Also, another strange behavior that I see is that it doesn't say what the heading level that the cursor/focus is on. It only says, "Heading."

Has anybody noticed VoiceOver repeating text in Safari? This also impacts the links as well. The website that I've tested on was on my website.

Hello,
I finally updated to iOS10 last evening. So far, I find that I am liking it. However, I am experiencing some minor issues. One issue that I have experienced, is that when I receive a phone call, and I am on mute, my phone does not vibrate. All of my settings are the same. Has anyone else experienced this?
Also, in the mail app, after reading all of my emails, I want to trash all. However, when I go to edit, and go to trash all, it says dimmed. I seem to have to delete one at a time. I can however go to my trash folder and delete all.

Dear All, As an avid reader and postgraduate researcher, I like to have access to as many books as possible. I already have access to I Books, Overdrive and ReadToGo apps but notice that the Kindle book store has a variety of books not available in the accessible apps I already own. As many blind people like me have found, the Kindle app doesn't provide access to the Kindle book range through the IOS app but does through the Windows operating system where text to speech voices are used to provide access to a large percentage of Kindle books.

This may not be a complete problem solver for this issue but it sure seems to be helping me a ton. I've been fighting with the iOS cursor focus issue since 15 came out. No screen was safe, even on my lock screen the cursor would just leap to random things at the top of the page and it was miserable. So I started messing around in settings, and lo! It's the damn rotor again, or so it seems.

Running Ios 14.2 on an Iphone 10s, I frequently have to restart Voiceover to get image descriptions working correctly. I'll get a vague description, like "screenshot of a social media post" but if I restart VO I'll get a much clearer one. This will work on 3-4 pictures and then I'll need to restart VO again. I've had this problem since at least 14.1. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Since IOS 15.10 on my iPhone 13 I’ve found two issues using the IOS passwords manager, I’m wondering if anyone has encountered them also and are able to reproduce. I’ve reported to Apple but the Apple Disability dept guy was still on 15.03 so could not reproduce.

First issue, to open up the IOS password manager screen: Ask Siri to open up passwords either using Hey Siri or by holding down the side button.

Prior to 15.1 this should land you in the password screen and bring up Face ID or the passcode screen to get you in and see your various saved passwords.

Hello all. I'm wondering if anybody is currently having issues typing on their iPhone, or if this is just a setting which I inadvertently changed. This has been happening on my iPhone 14 for a few days now. Dictation is working great, but there's another free app in the App store which I'm trying to search for and dictation isn't quite working for that purpose. The app in question is UniD, which is the app for the Unidescription project found at http://www.unidescription.org .

Hey guys!
I've been dealing with this very odd & annoying possible bug/behavior in Ipad-Os. 13. And I'd love 2 know if anyone else has dealt with this. I'm currently in contact with Braigo 2 try & fix a crash that happens when you try 2 upload photos from the photos upload button.
And part of this is sending screenshots/recordings 2 the dev with the issue. Here's where the possible bug comes in.
If I put ANY text in the message body before/after I attach (in my case photos) & try 2 send it, in an email, I get the following message:

Hello to all,

I recently upgraded from the latest version of IOS 9 to IOS 10.1 and discovered a possible problem for low vision users like myself who use a mixture of voice over and vision. The problem I will describe did not occur most of the time with earlier IOS versions. Also, when I addressed this issue during a phone call over the weekend wht someone from Apple Accessibility, the call center had already received just a little over 40 calls from others experiencing the same thing.
