Hi:
Since I am planning to get a new phone I am not going to update my Iphone 6.
My question is; if I buy an Iphone 8 or 8plus that already has IOS 11 installed will I still have the same accessibilities issues that I have been reading about? Or will they be minor issues. I don't use a braille display. Thanks.

Hello.
Messed up my free trial because I had to have my phone on repair. What do you think? Should I get the full version?

Good evening hope you're doing well.
Should I update to the new operating system? What bugs have you all encountered with VoiceOver?
Thanks in advance hope y'all have a great evening.

Hi all. I'm still running iOS furteen something. I'm wondering if I should upgrade to the latest version of iOS? What do you like or dislike about the new version? What are your favorite new features? What bugs have been fixed and not fixed? Thanks for any advice.

Hi: I am wondering If I should update my IPhone to the newest IOS software now? I have waited before updating because I wanted to read all of the topics and forems on this website on the new software. I have looked and read thehm all and I am still not sure. I get both the pros and cons but from what I see most of the people who post have the 5, 5S or 5C. I have the 4S with 16GBS. I would be interested to know if anyone has any information on how the IOS 7 does on the 4S. Any tips, ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Nancy

Hello AppleVis community!
I have an iPad Pro 9.7, which is still on iOs 9.3.5 and I'm considering upgrading it to the most recent version of Ios which is 10.2.2, as I did on my iPhone 6, which seems really slower than on Ios 9. . I'm always afraid to apply any updates before reading opinions and experiences of people who use it, so I did a big research on forums and blogs.

Based on comments I read when iOS 8 was first released, I chose not to upgrade from iOS 7 on my iPhone 5. Now that iOS 8.3 is released, is it time for me to upgrade or should I continue to use iOS 7 for now?

I do not use any Braille features and seldom use a BT keyboard, although I do use one from time to time. I haven't felt that I needed any of the new functionality to date, but with the new Voice OCR app which requires iOS 8, I wonder if it's time to upgrade. If I do, what drawbacks and issues should I be aware of? Thanks.

Hello all:
so i think that this is not an ios issue or something, but from long time ago, and even on my iphone 8+, 12 mini and now Iphone 13 pro max,.
sometimes the notification sounds stopped, and i should restart my Phone to get them back,
i noticed that when i visit my notification center and delete some notifications, this thing stopped, so, should i visit my notification center every now and then? to avoid losing my notification sounds? because i missed some important things from whatsapp etc because i did not here any sounds.

Hi all. I was in an Uber yesterday with a gentleman who did not speak english very well. Since he had the voice navigation turned off on his app, I was unsure for a moment exactly where I was. Note that there are two ro three ways to get to the destination I was going too. So I am wondering if blind users should somehow have access to voice directions so that we know where we are at a given time. If this is already possible, someone let me know how you would do this.

I want to thank apple vis for the website and information, I am newly blind and the sight has provided me tremendous help.I was wondering if anyone has done a review on the shout cast application or coducted a pod cast for the applacation. I have been a fan of shout cast for years and would like to use it on my iphone 4s as a blind dude. However I found the buttons on the application rather small and voiceover dose not reduce the volume of the music when accessing the buttons. I have contacted the shoutcast folks offering suggestins and have only revieved the general automatic reply.

Hi. Since upgrading to IOS8 I am experiencing severe and frequent buffering using an IPhone 5S with IOS8 to stream Shoutcast mp3 and WMA radio streams through my home broadband router over Wifi. It sounds very specific and it is. The exact same streams are working fine on my computer and non-IOS devices. The same streams are working fine on IOS over 3G. BBC IPlayer Radio and TV apps on IOS are working fine on Wifi and 3G.

Hello. Sorry about all the questions. I would like to know if there is a way that I can see all my apps on the home screen. I have lots of apps and it only shows me 16 pages of them. I would like some help on how to show all apps. Thanks.

I have "read notifications on lock screen" turned on. Now, in iOS 18, I can see one notification, but then there is a "show notifications" button I have to press to see the resst. This is super annoying!!! Can I make this show all notifications withouthaving to first press a button?

Hello,

I need to do a quick demo of voiceover for sighted people.

I need to know if voiceover cursor is shown on screen when voiceover is active and also wether it's possible to make voiceover write down in the screen what it is talking. I know these two features are implemented on Mac but do not know if they are implemented for IOS devices.
I have checked the voiceover settings and have found nothing specifically on these two features.

Thanks,
Marlon

Hi everyone. I've ound an app that looks amazing, and I'm wondering if anyone has checked it out. It's called SHREDDER for iPhone. The developer is listed as Yonac, inc. If it does half of what the description says, it would be well worth the $4.99 pricetag: provided, of course, that it's accessible. I'm going to ask the developer about the app's accessibility, but I wanted to post here in the hope that I could get some actual user feedback from a VoiceOver-user perspective. Thanks a bunch!

Recently, I asked how to shuffle all songs from a particular artist in the Music app in iOS 8.4.

Now, I am wondering how to shuffle ALL SONGS, period. I mean, how do you shuffle all songs on your iPhone from all artists. On the "Songs" screen, I can't seem to find an "Shuffle" button as used to be there.

Post Date:

In the latest design of the native Music app in iOS 8.4, how do you shuffle ALL SONGS from a particular artist?

I've found out how you shuffle, say, songs from a particular album of an artist, but I can't find any button that allows you to shuffle ALL the songs from a particular artist.

How does one shuffle songs by genre in iOS 7? When I go into the new music app, I select the more option and then select genres. Then, I selected the genre I want. When I'm in that genre's page, I cannot find a shuffle button. Is there one there, or is voiceover skipping over it?

It goes without saying that I am a music fanatic. 99 percent of the time when I'm jamming out, I'm not listening to just one album. I'm shuffling the tunes. However, most of the time when I am listening to only one album, I still like to shuffle. This brings me to my question. In iOS6, it was extremely easy to choose if you wanted to shuffle only one album, the entire artist collection, or your entire music collection. However, since they changed the look of the music app in iOS7, it no longer shuffles only one album, unless it's the only album you have from said artist.
