Hi.
So I use Seeing AI photo recognition all the time and since yesterday I havent been able to.
So I usually go to my photos tap share and the option to recognize with seeing AI is there.
Well now it's nowhere to be seen.
I tried deleting and reinstalling the app.
Can somebody help me figure what is going on?

I am using the light sensor. I suppose that this is not new, but by placing my fingers in different configurations in front of the camera, and moving the I phone in various ways, I have created some interesting tones. There are never enough musical instruments on the planet.

Has anyone who has downloaded Seeing AI in the UK managed to read product barcodes? I've tried this with 3 or 4 different items and I get nothing. Total silence is all I get no matter what I do no beeps. If this is the case that it is unavailable it seems very odd that finally they release this in the UK without this ability. Any help appreciated if I'm doing something wrong.

So I got an update to Seeing AI in the App Store this morning, and it seems that some of the Chat GPT smarts have now come to the app. I was wondering when this would happen.

I use Seeing AI maybe once a week or so. Lately, it seems like, 1 out of every 3 times I open the app, I have to dismiss about a half dozen agreement and informational dialog boxes.

I have a student who has downloaded the latest version of Seeing AI, the mobile phone is an Apple SE and this issue has been ongoing since November of last year, the iphone has been updated regularly. The app is fine and it works fine if Voice Over is turned off. As Apple are constantly updating security, I had suggested waiting until the latest updates had been implemented, 17.1 had just been introduced at that time.

I’m trying to use Seeing AI to describe a video, would there be a reason why it keeps telling me that it can’t be described? It’s less than 5 minutes so I don’t see why it would be posing a problem.

Hi all!
Just today SeeingAi is not recognizing bar codes from my phone. Nothing has changed that I can tell. I wonder if their database of barcodes is down and how would I find that out? It is pretty strange since it usually works fine. If anybody has any ideas on what might be wrong I'd appreciate knowing about it.

Hi,
For a few months now, Seeing AI no longer automatically reads the contents of a document on my iPhone 13 mini.
You have to take a photo and scroll through the result, which is much less convenient.
I restarted my iPhone and reinstalled Seeing AI, but nothing works.
I'll try contacting the developer, but I wanted to post here first to ask if other people with the iPhone 13 mini or older are also having this problem.
Perhaps the 13 mini is considered too old to handle auto-reading.

Curious if anyone has gotten seeing AI to work via widget from the iOS lock screen. I have a couple of series shortcuts set up, but you all know how reliable Siri is sometimes 😉! thanks for the help!

Not sure if I forgot it, or if I never knew. The Short Text channel is quite capable of reading hand writing.
My printer is out of ink, or I suspect its ink just dried up from not being used, and I needed to leave a note for someone. So I got out my line-guide clipboard and a pen and paper. Then I wondered, is the pen out of ink or dried up too? Yes, I could have just used a pencil, but I wanted to use the pen.
I'll make a test handwriting run, which I am told mine still looks like grade school cursive..., and use the Handwriting channel, I thought.

I am curious about something, I’ve been told that Seeing AI can do video description. My only thing is, I screen recorded a YouTube video which was maybe about 10 minutes long. The only problem is, when I send it to Seeing AI, it just says processing and cancel on the display. However, that’s all it says and it will not move from that. I left it there for an hour or so and it still didn’t move. there’s no other updates other than just processing. Is there some way I can fix this, is the video file type not correct, what is going on?

Hi, my friend has an iPhone 11 and she heard about this new amazing video discribtion feature with Seeing AI. However when I tried to help her to access it by clicking on the share sheet this option wasn't available. Is it only compatible with newer moddles?

hello. i am considering whether to pay for envision ai or knfb reader or to stick with seeing ai. i am not very experienced with these apps so i can't foresee what i may need them for.
how would you describe the comparative advantages of these apps?

I'm currently in the process of upgrading my iPhone 12 Pro and debating between regular 16 and 16 Pro. I got the 12 Pro because of the Light IR.
I'm just curious - for short text detection, do you prefer Seeing AI or the text detection built into the Pro iPhones?
