Hello, I'm not sure if this can be done, but it sure would be helpful. I have a little over a hundred books on my iPhone4s. I've now got a 5s, and would like to get these seventeen gigs into the new phone. Bard Mobile is listed in the file sharing part of ITunes, but it just has an inbox part that's empty. I understand that I could add .zip files to this portion from the computer, so that books already downloaded could be put onto the device. However, can I do the opposite?
iOS and iPadOS
The battery of my old 4th gen Nano has stopped holding a charge. It works when plugged in and I can add and remove contents, but that is it. I still prefer the click wheel for listening to books and tend to prefer listening to music on a device other than my phone when performing activities like writing where I do n't want any interruptions. Because of this, I've managed to track down and order a brand new 5th generation Nano to replace the one that is on its way out. I figure it will give me a bit more time to get used to the idea of saying goodbye to the click wheel.
Hello.
When setting up a new iPhone we are presented with suggestion to transfer data from old iPhone to a new one. During that proccess there is a step that requires capturing screen of the old iPhone with the new device. So I am wondering if it is at all accessible&& or restoring form a backup is the only way to go for us?
Thank you very much in advance!
Hi everyone! Is there a sane way to transfer files, both text and or audio, from an iPhone 8 to a PC without having to use iTunes? I do subscribe to Apple Music if that makes a difference.
Hi all.
I want to transfer files, currently music but possibly other stuff as well, from Windows to my phone without using iTunes. Is there an easy way to do it? I could do it over wi-fi, assuming files would put everything in the right place, because most if not all of it is on a NAS. But I wonder if there's something that's faster, e.g. plugging into a USB port or the like.
I have a problem: on my Windows computer, I have about twenty-five folders. Each of these contains one audio file in .mp3 format. I would like to move all of these folders and files to my iOS device for listening to in an app such as Voice Dream Reader. I am wondering if there is a way to transfer these folders, and if there is a better app than Voice Dream for listening to the files in.
I cannot transfer the folders by email because this would be a very time-consuming process, and the eemail service might reject the files as they are at least 30 megabytes each.
I recently purchased an iPhone 12 Pro Max and attempted to transfer the data from my old phone to my new phone. Someone from Apple Accessibility talked me through the process. It went well up until the end when it just sat at 100%, but 2 minutes remaining. I left the phones sitting next to each other with plenty of power for three days, but still got two minutes remaining.
I am rtrying to transfer audio book material from my laptop to my Read2Go app, on my iPhone 5S, using the latest build of iTunes. In previous iterations of this software, when my phone was connected to my laptop via USB and iTunes was open, I could easily select my phone, then Apps, then Read2Go and I then had facilities to select a file from my PC to transfer over. With the new iTunes, I cannot find this facility, despite selecting my phone and Apps. Has anyone managed to work out how to do this? I would appreciate any step-by-step instructions.
I'm trying to copy my personal library of DVD & Blue Ray movies I have purchased & own into my iDevice for my private personal viewing & entertainment. Does anyone do this & if so, how? What accessible software do you use to accomplish the task? I understand one way is to copy from a DVD drive to my PC & then transfer to iTunes & then transfer to an iDevice. Is there a simpler way to perform this task? Also is there a way to transfer movies to some other type of device & then hook it up to an iDevice (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, etc.) to view movies?
Hi all
I heard this morning that there are apps available which basically turns your iphone into a usb drive so that you can manage it like a memory stick. This means that you can simply copy and paste files to it like a memory stick like transferring music to any ordinary mp3 player. I detest iTunes to have to do this and would like to find an alternative option. Can this indeed be done?

I am hoping to find an accessible RSS reader app that I can import an .OPML file into that I have exported from my feed reader on my PC so that I do not have to hunt down each and every feed I am subscribed to just to get them all on my iPhone or iPad. Does such an app exist?
Thanks,
chris
Hello,
I seek for any suggestion for transferring text from my iPhone to my windows 10 pc.
For example, I want to copy some text from a website and I want to transfer to PC for proof reading, translate to other language or make some edit in format that I can paste or put to Microsoft word.
Thanks for any help.
Is anyone having trouble with the Transit App as far aas reading transit directions to a particular location? The app works great by providing me local schedules and stop locations. I am having trouble with vo reading out a particular set of directions. Vo does not read the entire set of directions when I do a 2 finger flick down after chosing a particular set of transit directions. If there is a better app out there, please let me know. Many of these transit apps are not VO friendly
Thanks, Jason
Hi, I've used the transit: bus and subway times app with almost no problems, but when I use go (swiping to the ride this line" option, which takes me to the map and information on the upcoming bus), voiceover keeps repeating "place is visible" and interrupting other parts of the screen. For example, if I have my finger on the time that announces how long the bus will take, voiceovere will start reading that to me, but then will be interrupted by "place is visible" which it says over and over. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
I went on the reccomendation that this was completely accessible, all buttons clearly labeled and all that. But, I'm unable to get the app to work, much less search for a particular bus line. I know it sees my area, since I have a long long long list of bus lines to go through, assuming it allows me to move through it without refreshing every so often. Trying to do something as simple as enter my bus line, on the edit box inviting one to anter the line number yields no results. In fact I'm just still facing that list of line names and numbers that refresh every so often.
Sadly I'm going to have to stick with AppleMusic instead of Spotify with which I was getting excited and very familiar with because of circumstances that so as to save space, I won't go into, but anyway I'm wanting to know of within the iPhone app of course, what spotify functions equal in Apple Music to the tasks or function of adding items to Favorites?
Hello to all,
I've been trying to figure something out in the iOS Facebook app and am wondering if anyone out there might have an answer. I will occasionally have posts from friends that are written in a different language, in my case in Arabic, and when VoiceOver finishes reading the post, it says "See Translation".
Hello, I hope you are fine. I want to ask you, is there an iOS translation app for videos that can be an audio translator or read voice over the translated text. Thanks for any suggestions.
I have taken a new job which will require significantly more travel, which is exciting. I am wondering if anyone has found an app that enhances independent navigation through airports. If you have had success with such an app, please pass along that information.
Thank you!
Keith
