I have set up touch ID in settings on my iPhone 8. I definitely turned it on for App Store purchases, but today I went to download an app and it asked for my password twice and touch ID was unavailable both times. The first time it asked for my password it said something to the effect that I needed to enter my password to use new fingerprints on this iPhone which I have already done. The second time it prompted me for my password it said that I needed to enter my password to get the app for free.No password auto fill, and touch ID still didn't work.

For those of you that have downloaded IOS 7 using iPhone 5, have any of you ran in to touch screen problems? I ask because I was looking on the blog uf Applevis And they mentioned a serious problem with the touch screen And voiceover. I have been very hesitant to download iOS 7, so I would like to hear what other iPhone 5 users are noticing. They said that this could be a butt that not everyone notices, and hopefully it will be resolved as soon as possible!

I have a new iPad mini 6th generation. Either I'm not understanding this feature or there is some kind of bug. My touch to unlock doesn't work. I can press the power button and it will recognize my finger print and unlock the device. I can also use toch to unlock when the iPad is on locked screen but won't work if the screen is asleep. I've factory reset the unit and I do have the touch to unlock turnned on in accessability. Verry Verry strange. I'm not sure if I should replace or wait it out until the next iPad os update.

Is there any ways I can track where my iPhone 12 went?
Somebody at my mum’s house stole it whilst we had family dramas back in 2022, so when I turn back cancel time, I didn’t have my iPhone 12.
And then when I got my Google pixel seven, me and my mum were using a Galaxy S 21 ultra, and that disappeared straight after I got to pixel seven
And it wasn’t even my fault, I never did anything to any of those phones

Does anyone know of an IOS ap that will announce when you've gone a mile. So I could timehow long it takes to walk a mile or run a mile without having to stop and look at my phone. Just will say, one mile 20 minutes or something like that.

My wife is sighted and has an iPhone 6S. When she receives a Voice Mail, she recently started seeing text transcriptions of the Voice Mail message for each Voice Mail she receives.
I have an iPhone 6 and use VoiceOver. I am not seeing transcriptions of my Voice Mail messages.
Is there something I need to do to enable Voice Mail transcriptions? I thought this was a new iOS feature that should be available in iOS 11 (which we are both using on our phones).

I got an Iphone 7+ as a second phone for me, and i need to transfer my data from my 13 promax to it,
I tried more than 7 times with no luck, each time they are trying to connect after eraising the 7+ my pro max can not complete, i restarted both phones with no luck,
is there any other way that i can do that?
i can not use Icloud backup because my 7+ should have ios 16 which is not possible for sure,
so, tell me what can i do please

Hi all
Can anyone recommend an app that I can use to transfer files that sit under the Files app on my Iphone to my Windows PC.
In Itunes, the Files app is not listed under apps that allow file transfers.
A Possible trick is perhaps to move the files on the Iphone to one of the folders of a app which is recognized in Itunes, but I’m sure there is better alternatives?

Hi everyone, I just discovered Justcast, which works in conjunction with Dropbox to host your own podcast RSS feed using your Dropbox account.
Here are the steps.
<ol><li> Go to www.theJustcast.com and click Sign Up Now, type in your dropbox login details, and give it permission to use your account. It will automatically create an Example subfolder under Dropbox > apps > Justcast.
</li><li> Find some mp3 or other media files on your computer, and paste them in that example folder from step 1.

I add the file to the application, it appears in the list of documents, but it does not transfer.
What can it be?

My girlfriend has an iPod which is pretty old. It's the Ipod which has a wheel on it. I can't remember the exact model, but I guess it's the iPod Shuffle.
Now, she wants to move all her music from the iPod to her iPhone via iTunes. This has got some trouble: When the iPod is connected to her computer it shows all the songs etc. but these aren't in her libeary in Itunes. How do we then trasfer them to her phone?
THe way she has transfered music to her iPod was to drag it from the Windows Explorer to the iPod.

Hi all, with the recent removal of my baby sim games from the app store, I'm trying to figure out how to transfer apps from my phone to the computer so I can have a copy of the app file just in case the app has been removed and I have to reinstall it. Here are the steps I have done so far, running latest iTunes version, windows seven, with window-eyes. After hooking my phone to the computer, I access the iTunes menu, then go to device, then transfer purcheases. While some of my purcheases, like audio books and music transferred to my computer, none of my apps transferred.

I used to be able to tap and hold on an app to move to another folder.
Since I OS 8.1.1, moving apps to folders has not been possible.
Could anyone shed some light on how to move an app around and place it in to folders with i OS 8.1.1?
Is this process broken or am I missing a step?

I'm about to transfer from an iPod Touch 4th Gen to a 5th Gen, and would appreciate help with one aspect of this change. I'd like to be sure that all my existing Downcast podcast content is backed up to iTunes to make sure it all then appears on the 5.
Could someone more adept in these matters please tell me what I should have set or selected within Downcast , iCloud or iTunes to make sure this transfer is a smooth and happy one!
BTW, I'm not an iCloud user either, perhaps this is the way I should be going?

Hello. I really like my ipodtouch device since I had this awesome thing since July. I was wondering how do I transfer my ibooks via usb using itunes with my itouch connected up to my pc. I am using window eyes and when I am in the side bar using the tree view under devices I see my ipod and select the cync books radio button when I want to cync my books I do check the radio buttons to make sure my ibooks are selected. Then itunes says zero books. When I go back in to the side bar view and go to the books tab and do tab around and select the list radio button I do see my ibooks are there.

I have an iPhone 5C which is currently running iOS 7.0.6. I have a bunch of text messages from one person that I would like to save, but they are taking up space on my phone. I also have several voicemail messages from this same person in my blocked folder. I would like to transfer all of these messages from my phone to my PC to be kept as evidence for a possible court case. I know that text messages can somehow be transferred, but I don't know about voicemail messages. Does anyone know how to transfer text and voice messages from an iPhone 5C to a PC? Thanks.

I decided to use the option of transferring everything from my old iPhone to my new iPhone, which, I must say, worked beautifully, except for one very annoying thing.
I have some apps on my old iPhone, which are no longer available on the App Store, so I’m unable to download them on my new iPhone.
