Hi there. I’m looking at using these voices with my phone, but don’t know how to set it up. Could someone kindly please instruct me as to how I use it with VoiceOver?
iOS and iPadOS
Hello everyone,
I recently began using the Apple Intelligence features introduced with iOS 18.2. I’m thoroughly enjoying the integration with ChatGPT. I discovered that if I ask Siri to describe an image, she can forward it to ChatGPT for a description. However, each time I request a description, Siri prompts me to confirm whether she should submit the image. Unfortunately, there seems to be no option to disable this prompt before submission. Perhaps we should consider submitting feedback to Apple regarding this issue.
Since upgrading to IOS 10, I cannot use Control Centre to select airplay to my Airport Express. The only option showing is Mirroring to my Apple TV. The only way I can airplay to Airport is to choose Airplay within another app such as Audible or Downcast. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks.
Hi there,
For those of you that have Ios 16, it seems you can now write in the dvorak keyboard layout. So being the nerd that I am, I switched the keyboard over to try and teach myself the thing. ... The results were mixed, this is being typed in qwerty but I have a question.
I managed to create a group e-mail list or distribution list in iCloud that shows under the Contacts / Group button on my iPhone. I have the groups highlighted.
I cannot figure out, however, how to actually make use of the distribution group list from within my contacts. The group name doesn't appear anywhere in my Contacts list nor does a search turn up the group.
Any hints on how this is supposed to work?
Thanks.

Hi all. I grabbed butter to thaw for the next morning's breakfast only to discover I wasn't sure if it were salted or not. So I grabbed envision, and it just made a beep when I kept pushing the scan barcode button as I flipped the box around. This is after i'd tried to use Seeing AI with absolutely no success. i clicked on the done button after the release notes, allowed camera access and selected barcode channel. Then that's all i can do. There's no take photo button though it's been quite a bit since i've used it.
I am using an iPad Air with blue tooth Logitech keyboard; new to me this past summer. While I’ve made much progress, numbers is just way too limiting. Of course this could be operator error. I am very serious about purchasing excel or office just so I can run some numbers. Any suggestions please.
hello. I often use the audio player in Safari on iOS to listen to MP3 files downloaded
from the Web. One of my frustrations in using this player is that I've not found a good way to
fast forward or rewind through such MP3 files. I just learned there is a control on the media
play screen which VoiceOver says is adjustable and which is called a scrubber. Visually, this
is a bead on an abacus bar that the sighted user can push left and right on the bar and, as
I can't get the FitBit app to monitor the steps that I'm taking on the treadmill without forcing a sync every time I want to know the total. I'm wearing the FitBit Zip and using the app with VoiceOver on my iPhone 5. I listened to David Woodbridge's podcast about the FitBit Flex, which I realize is a different model. But as he walked on the treadmill, he could count the steps just by flicking to the right and then back again. Perhaps, this isn't possible with the Zip using VoiceOver. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I would certainly appreciate it.

is there any tutorial available for this? it's not that I am a professional, but I'd like to figure out how to use it just for the heck of it.
I see that Google is now selling a Chromecast Audio device that can be used to cast audio from your device directly to an audio system that uses 3 mm audio jacks such as a home stereo.
I'm just wondering how easy it is to cast audio from apps on an iPhone and what is involved. I use my iPhone a lot with AirPlay to devices which support AirPlay, but I don't know of any AirPlay devices at $35 that will connect directly to my stereo. so the Chromcast Audio is of interest.
Thanks for any advice or experiences casting with an iOS device to the Chromcast Audio.
Hi. I'm trying to figure out Google Sheets on the iPhone, with and without using a bluetooth keyboard. I'm sure it's just that I'm really tired and missing something obvious, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to input data into cells. Doubletappingb only selects it, and another doubletap brings up menu options. I'm flummoxed. I got the impression from the Google accessibility section on using Sheets on iOS with a BT keyboard that some of the mac keyboard commands would apply to the phone as well.
hi,
Is there a way to use google tts with voiceover? I know that apple allows to connect third party tts to voiceover on ios 16.
I'm especially interested in the hebrew voice that google offers. I know that it does work with talkback on android
I didn't find a tts app on the app store. does anyone know anything about it?
In past versions of iOS, I could use the Handwriting feature to enter my security code to unlock my iPhone. The Handwriting feature is still available in 9.2 but does not seem to be available for unlocking my iPhone 6S. If I'm using Apple Pay and my thumbprint doesn't work to unlock my iPhone, I have VoiceOver reading out my security code to everyone in earshot (not always convenient to be carrying earbuds around). Anyone have any updated info on use of Handwriting to unlock phones. I have emailed Apple Accessibility to see what they can tell me
Hi. I am having an odd issue with the last few versions of the Hulu app for iOS and would like to know if someone else who uses Hulu would verify this.
I am using the latest version of the app, which is 4.3.2, on an iPhone 5C running iOS 8.4.
When I double-tap the "browse" tab on the bottom left hand corner, there are several options, one of which is "genre."
